Tanks, tanks, tanks. Their collection is really impressive. We came for the submarine tour (the guide was so knowledgeable) and stayed for all the other big, bigger, biggest machines.

Nice interesting if you like to know the history of the war and what was used. We ate in the restaurant. The food was filling and simple.

We've visited this museum 2 times now. There's a lot to see, especially tanks. The flight simulator is a great experience. We travelled there by train from Ljubljana, which was a good way to get there. It takes about 15 minutes to get there from the station and you can just follow the directions from the station which is marked out by footprints. Highly recommended

We stopped here to visit the museum, which was fantastic, great displays and friendly staff. Part of the price to stay here €24 is entry to the museum for 2 people. Water is off at the moment (December) but there is grey dumping. Elec hook up included in price, need Euro adapter. Reasonably quiet but you do here trains and trucks on the road. Security also came in and checked the area while we were there. When we purchased our tickets our registration was also taken. We would stay again to spend more time in the museum as they have some amazing military machinery on display.

Great museum, many interesting artefacts. We reserved VR simulation flight on MIG. Very kind lady assisted us so our kid (8 years) could use it as well. Museum would be even more interesting if there were more interactive points.

It's great. We spent 3 hours there and jet we just browsed. There is so much to see. And the employees are great and smiling and very helpful.

Very nice military muserum from ww2 to modern history of Slovenia! Also very neat and cozy restaurant Kantina right next to reception. Highly recommend it !!!

Fantastic must visit place, if your in a camper, price 24e x 2 tickets, overnight parking, electric and WiFi.

We totally enjoyed our visit here today! The lady in the Slovenian history museum was absolutely lovely and so helpful and passionate about the museum! The museum is very easy to find, as it lies next to the main road. A very good insight into military history as well as other technical things that surrounded us. I recommend calling before visiting if you want to try out the simulator, as they have two, one with a mig jet, the other with a motor. It is necessary to make a reservation for the simulator because they assign you an hour. I also recommend calling to see the submarine, where they also set the time. Preferably with a time gap, because the museum is big and there are really many things to look at. There is also a path to the fort outside. Expect at least 2-3 hours, and they also have an inn.

Beautiful museum with lots of history about multiple wars. Lots of interesting things to see and so much information. There is also another museum within and for only 2 euros extra you can visit it with many old electronics and other household items to check out. Certainly worth it. We also tried the spitfire VR experience and it was pretty nice. They have multiple simulation experiences for you to try for an additional fee. 10 euros for the spitfire experience. Big recommendation if you like the history.
