Delicious food!! Simply amazing! It is my favourite restaurant in Ljubljana. All dishes have very balanced taste. In addition, everything is gluten free. The services is also excellent. Definitely a must-visit restaurant.

Me and my friends had a dinner in here and it was quite nice. After dinner we ordered desserts. Couple of minutes later waiter came back and warned me that the dessert that I have picked had pork gelatin in it. Apparently he realized that I wasn't eating pork products. We were really impressed and amazed how attentive he was! He could have just ignore but he didn't. It was really nice of him to let me know about the ingredients and confirm my order. I would like to thank him again. (Thank you!) And I definitely recommend this place. Excellent service! 10/10!

I'll rarely give a 5 star rating, but this one deserves a 4.5 star. The chef(s) definitively know how to cook. If you get a family table with 4 teenagers totally quiet when cloving of their spare ribs and veal chops (how I loved that serenity) and nothing but bones are left on our plates, the meal was great. My meat was perfectly done - rare as I like it. If any for a minus, not all beers on the menu were available. The place was attended by locals too, which I always find encouraging. Conclusion: a top spot for a good meal!

Very nice restaurant just outside of the city centre. We had the lamb shank, and it was great big portion of the shank. Gnocchi with mushrooms and prawns were quite fulfilling. Tuna tartar was nothing out of the usual, but nice little starter. Very spacious inside and outside. When we arrived it was busy but the waiter was honest and told us it was gonna take 30min. However they didn’t have a lot of appetizers options (which I don’t think is not a bad thing)

A very nice restaurant with friendly staff and amazing food! The food is really tasty. Even if some cobninations seem weird to you, give it a try. If you are looking for a place to eat good in Ljubljana, this is it. I ordered homemade gnocchi with mushroom sauce and prawns and it was really delicious. My partner ordered baby ribs and he loved it.

The highlight of my meal were the baby back ribs. Cooked to perfection, they were incredibly tender, juicy and easy to savor. While there was a bit too much BBQ sauce than I prefer, it was still delicious. In addition to ribs, I also had the pleasure of trying the sea bass fillet. It was a delight, with the fish being juicy and seasoned beautifully. For dessert, I opted for the panna cotta. Although the strawberry topping wasn't to my liking, the panna cotta itself was heavenly. The ambience of the restaurant was wonderful and unique. The attention to detail in the decor and layout truly made this place stand out. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a wonderful dining experience without having to worry whether something is gluten free or not. I'm looking forward to returning to this establishment in the near future.

I've been there with my family 4 times now, and I simply can't find one thing that I could rate "so so". We have been trying a bit of everything, from cold starters, pasta, fish and meat and everything was delicious. Good wine selection, not too wide but surely more than enough to have a perfect pairing with all dishes of the menu. A separate note should be spent for desserts, they are out of this world !! Nice and relaxed location a stone throw from the busy centre of Ljubljana, very welcoming staff. Either you have problems with gluten or not (my girlfriend has) a great choice for an excellent meal.

Very nice B&B in a quiet neighborhood within easy walking distance of old town Ljubliana. Rooms are small but comfortable. Great staff. Breakfast is included. Free, secure parking on site. Nice bar and restaurant on site too.

Great spot for dinner just south of Old Town. Prices are very reasonable and excellent food. I had monk fish and egg noodles in decadent truffle sauce. It was amazing. Service was very good too.

Love love love this place!! Hands down the best gluten free food I’ve ever had. The bread was freshly baked, the fried chicken was divine, and the chocolate soufflé was perfect. Amazing 😍

Very cosy place. Visited on a Saturday night and it was almost full. Big portions and very nice flavours. We tried their special fried chicken (served with potato puree) and it was crispy and tasty! We also tried the egyptian shawarma which was also very tasty albeit a bit overcooked(?) for my taste. Would definitely recommend!

Just lived this gluten free restaurant could eat anything we wanted and drink beer! Lovely waitress visited twice during our 4 day visit to ljubljana. Great veal meal and lamb meal to die for. Recommend to anyone not just gluten free people. At the side of a beautiful canal.

Dežela Okusov is our favorite resaurant during trip to Ljubljana in May, we visited twice just for the BBQ pork ribs, we can taste the smell of charcoal grill and meat is tender, big portion can be shared by 2 pax, also recommend the mushroom soup, kept us warm in the rainy days. Service was also good. You shouldn't miss this amazing restaurant!

The perfect place for a fussy gluten intolerant person - just ask my wife! We were worried about finding somewhere for my gluten intolerant wife to eat but this restaurant was a great solution! I had fried chicken (which was a Gf KFC) and she had BBQ ribs. The portion sizes were massive which was needed after a long day. The chips were nice and the potato salad was delicious! The chicken was a bit Sandy and wasn’t that flavourful but nice to have a big portion, I just recommend getting a sauce with it. We also had a large bowl of gluten free bread to share too. We definitely didn’t need it but it was really tasty! I recommend getting a normal portion for two people though and you will have to ask for butter as that is not the European way. The staff were really friendly with good English. Overall, if you are gluten intolerant and fancy a big meal that isn’t going to be the tastiest meal you have ever eaten then I definitely recommend it.

we spent a week in Slovenia. the best food we ate all week. I recommend it, the service is good and the food is excellent, a little more spicy, but not hot, that was a good thing. the portion size was good, I ended up eating the whole portion and a cake for dessert. I ate veal. restaurant in a good location.

Top restaurant for a more than fair price. Friendly staff, unusual but really tastefull combinations of flavours. Would recommend it as first pick when visiting Ljubljana! Try out the tuna steak with orange and wasabi and be amazed

Very modern and recently renovated Inn. Excellent for one night or two. For minimalist lovers. Food is also good at the restaurant, and the location has an exceptional tranquillity, nice and near the river. Nice breakfast in old wooden style breakfast rooms.

Just finished the ribs and they were excellent Pleasant service, nice ambience. The salad was diced a bit fine but now I am just being picky. Recommend highly

Overall experience gets a 5/5. The food and wine were both excellent in taste. It'd be nice to see more variety in the side dishes, though, as they seemed mostly fried. I had the ribs and a chocolate soufflé, and I took photos of my food, which looked as good as it tasted. My friends chose ribeye steak, flank steak, and tuna steak, all of which were delicious. The starters, like Tuna tartare and beef carpaccio, were also superb. The ambiance of the place was quite appealing, and the staff were very courteous.

Fantastic food, prices are reasonable, and the service is top-notch. They cater to gluten-free needs, making it an excellent choice for all. Highly recommended!

One of the best restaraunts on Ljubjana. Food and service is amazing. My wife is gluten free so we went to check it out and I was amazed how good the food was. If you are gluten free it is a must if you are in Ljubjana.

The food was very good. The ribs in particular impressed us a lot, just perfect (and I am not even a huge fan of the dish in general). You can feel the food is made with care and knowledge. We were very well received, even though we arrived a bit late. Ah and the gluten-free bread is quite good and has a nice crust (not easy things to achieve in the gluten-free realm :)) A very positive experience.

Mushroom soup was not delicious. Potato puree was dull. The lamb was relatively ok, but no strong flavor. The Angus beef could be prepared much better. The best were cherry dumplings. The waiter was fine and the restaurant was empty.

Super nice hotel. Aspecially with the connection to the gluten-free restaurant and included breakfast. Super clean and beautiful rooms all taken care of very well. Next time I will stay longer Ljubljana is super beautiful and worth to enjoy for a cuple days.

Very lovely place with pleasant atmosphere and phenomenal food in downstairs restaurant. Rooms are spacious and clean, wi-fi and power outlets everywhere, even over your head in bed, fridge also included. I want to send my special regards to the beautiful blonde angel Kaja (I hope I spelled it correctly), the most helpful and kind waitress making the atmosphere in this place even better! The meat was delicious and I would highly recommend it. They do still need to work on their octopus cooking skills (although it was okay I can’t say it was great)

A hidden gem in Ljubljana. What a great GF restaurant. We stumbled across this restaurant and ended up eating here both nights of our stay in Ljubljana. The first night we had the baby back ribs which seems to be there most popular dish (followed by the steak) and the mushroom risotto. I have never liked ribs as they are usually smothered in a sticky, sweet sauce. But these were absolutely amazing, smoky, tender, heaps of meat and so much of it too. The risotto was beautiful too. The next night we tried the carpaccio and the Egyptian salad and their home made bread rolls. Again, beautiful meals and very big. The waiter was lovely and quite shy, but he did explain the meals to us and we had wonderful service. We sat outside and it was busy both nights with people being turned away or waiting. The prices were really reasonable as well and they had a good selection of drinks. It is just outside the Old Town, near the river and there are bars close by.

What a great find in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Totally gluten-free and all other common allergens are listed in a Slovenian and English menu. Easy walking distance from the Old City. A very diverse and broad menu covering vegetarian, seafood, fried chicken, gnocchi, risotto, salads and other items. Their stated specialties are ribeye, ribs and tuna steak. Four gluten-free and gluten removed beer selections...A small but regionally broad wine menu...I went with gnocchi with shrimp and porcini mushrooms. It was excellent. The service was excellent, very friendly and the food was delivered quickly. The toilets were spotless as well. Inside and outside seating. Kudos to Kaka as well!

Great restaurant offering whole gluten free meals, making it safe for coeliacs. The food tastes amazing and the portions are big, you will not be disappointed. We recommend trying the pork ribs and the Slovenian trout, but I also tried the rice pasta dishes and they were very good and flavoured. Staff was super friendly and prices were good for the quality/quantity. Not far from the city center and in a very nice area with pubs. Totally recommended.

Awesome place! Safe for all who have issues with gluten, the food is incredibly tasty and staff is simply amazing. Plus – a huge selection of gluten free beers. I loved every bite here and I'm definitely gonna come back again. You can walk there from the city center quite comfortably. Definitely worth a visit for both coeliacs and healthy people too.

Definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for tasty gluten free food. Super comfortable atmosphere, really knowledgeable staff who speak English no problem. Really really enjoyed our supper here. Next time I'm in Ljubljana, I'm definitely going to try out the hotel here so I can get gluten free breakfast!

I recently visited Dežela Okusov and I was blown away by the amazing food and friendly service. The waitress was so kind and made sure that we had everything we needed. The dishes were all so tasty and it was a big plus that they were all gluten free. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious food and great service. Love the restaurant. Been there twice with my husband who has gluten sensitivity and we both enjoyed the food, fresh and beautifully baked. We had the fried chicken (so tender) and shrimp gnocchi first time, then the shrimp gnocchi (as we enjoyed it alot) and tried a new dish being the fish filet with pea mashed. All food was delicious. The lady serving was very cheery and lovely. Hvala!

I asked the server what would she recommend and she said to go with the babyribs. They were delicious. We also ordered some deserts which didn’t dissapoint either. Great food, great staff. Highly recommend. And the location is perfect as well - city centre in walking distance.

Original place, form by restaurant - pub, and B&B upstairs. The people it fantastic, very kind and beautiful. Cleanest, and well done. The harmonic area by wood reserves originally feel like a family. I’m very very satisfied!! The kitchen it fantastic, the taste it simple but delicious….. what about, need to back for another week.
