This
was
by
far
the
worst
restaurant
experience
I
have
had
in
a
very
long
time.
The
waiters
were
not
welcoming
at
all
and
it
felt
like
they
just
wanted
to
get
you
in
and
out
of
the
restaurant
as
quickly
as
possible
(they
removed
everything
from
the
table,
even
the
drinks
that
were
not
empty
yet).
They
also
tried,
quite
aggressively,
to
get
you
to
order
wine
(do
you
want
wine?
No
thank
you.
No
wine?
No
thank
you.
Really,
no
wine?…).
But
the
biggest
disappointment
was
the
food
itself.
Very,
very
disappointing.
I
ordered
amberjack.
This
is
supposed
to
be
a
very
juicy
fish,
but
it
was
terribly
dry.
Classically
this
is
served
with
a
butter
and
lemon
sauce,
but
this
time
it
was
extremely
sour,
almost
as
if
the
butter
had
turned
bad.
To
make
matters
worse,
the
portions
are
really
small
(see
photo),
and
very
expensive
for
what
you
get
(21€
for
the
Amberjack,
with
one
cheese
roll
and
to
small
pieces
of
green
asparagus).
I
wouldn’t
care
so
much
about
the
price
and
the
size
of
the
portions,
if
it
would
have
been
exquisite
cuisine,
but
this
was
far
from
fine
cuisine.
My
two
children
ordered
a
caesar
salad:
A
little
bit
of
lettuce,
chicken,
cheese
and
a
lot
of
sauce.
I
mean:
a
LOT
of
sauce
(drowned
in
sauce
really)!
Children
in
general
usually
like
sauce,
but
even
for
my
kids
this
was
way
to
much
sauce.
I
told
the
waiter
that
I
was
extremely
disappointed;
and
to
my
surprise
he
agreed
with
everything
I
said
and
even
used
the
phrase
“tourist
trap”
himself.
Conclusion:
there
are
much
better
alternatives
in
Ljubljana
and
I
would
definitely
not
recommend
Altroké.
