Tuna tartar, seasoned with rough salt, pepper and olive oil. Burnt ends smoked for twelve hours with sweet onions that melt in your mouth. I loved these. And we barely started. Next came wagyu japanese beef, served raw and alongside came a hot stone where I grilled it. 10 seconds. Done. I came here for an experience and got it well. Our waitor knew his trade. He gave us almost scientific explanations to all our questions, yet in a humble way. I liked that. Special thanks to Danfoss for making this evening possible.

Amazing food and good ambient. I recommend this restaurant to anyone that likes proper BBQ. Also... There is one rule that I go by... I judge restaurants by how clean their bathroom are. And theirs was spotless...

The Kralj Zara is a somewhat upscale steak house right in the center of Ljubljana. I had a New York strip steak (400 g) with truffle fries and a glass of Merlot. The meat (medium-rare) was cooked to perfection. The truffle fries were crispy and super seasoned. The service was quick, friendly and accommodating, simply perfect. In terms of price, we are in the middle level. All in all, a very successful evening in a perfect steak restaurant.

Food was incredibly tasty. Argentina style steak very juycy and melted in mouth. I am was very surprised!!! Such delicious steak, also with olive oil and salt! You should try it. We also took a burger, which was also very juicy. But most of all I want to mention beans with pieces of bacon, spicy sauce, very tasty! The service is fast and of high quality. The waiter helped call a taxi. We felt at home in this restaurant. We recommend this place if you want something special, tasty and high-quality.

Very kind, welcoming but professional service. Food above expectation, great quality meat, light handed but harmonious seasoning, real potato fries, big windows looking at the main square, what else would you need?

Food and service is good. In my opinion, prices don't correspond to the quality and quantity of the food.

One of the best steak house i have ever been! If you are there, go for the smoked beef ribs or tenderloin angus steak!
