Definitely deserves the high rating it currently holds. We've eaten in many restaurants around the city but this one tops them. It was our last evening so we wanted to go out with a bang. Excellent service, great food and good portions (what some higher end restaurants sometimes lack). The price isn't cheap but you definitely get what you pay for and more! Highly recommended!

Top notch place that deserves high grade. Everything about this place is perfect. The ambient is modern with a lot of details, the food is a work of art and the waiters are very helpful and highly educated.

Best restaurant in Europe,I mean it! Bostjan (owner) is heart&soul of the Ljubljana gastronomy! This is my 100th time here,always coming from my home town in Croatia,always screaming of happines when I’m leaving the place! Lobster pasta out of the menu outta this world!!! ♥️

The food here is a bit in the higher end prices wise but let's be honest it's well worth it. There's not a single dish on their menu that I wouldn't recommend. Must try is their pate, tuna tartar octopus and last but not least Stakes. I do recommend you make reservation before going there.

We have been in this restaurant 4 years ago, it was excellent. So we planed again a trip extra to Ljubljana for eating at Cubo. The welcome was perfect, the waiters are very kind and helpful. We had a menu with different plates, mainly fish. It was just excellent and I can only advise to go to this restaurant. Everything is very fresh and very nice served, great place to go.

Everytime I visit Cubo (mainly on business) I leave with positive feeling that everything goes so well together - perfect food, great wine selection and friendly service. This time on a family dinner (my daughter's 18) another great experience. Starting with a sip of great Sparkling Rose, Bjana and then followed with a great set of appetisers. Super smooth and properly seasoned Beef tartare, a very natural Tuna tartare and Mozzarella Buffala amazing) with tomatoes. For the main we chose stakes and added the red - very fresh Cabarnet Sauvignon, Ferdinand. The tagliata served on rucola was super tasty and soft even it was only medium rare. The beefsteak with mushrooms and home made gnocchi was splendid. And for a vegetarian - tagliatelle with truffles - super tasty - a lot of taste but not to aggressive that can happen with truffles. Finishing with coffee and only one dessert as we were to full already. And to point out - our host was Aleksander who made the evening more friendly and comfortable for everyone. Great job. Definitely we should come here more often and for those reading - it is also one of the best places in Ljubljana to have a fish!

Amazing and cozy atmosphere! Food is absolutely delicious! And just when I thought i was full with the tasty food, they brought their famous panacota. It’s a must try if you go to Cobu! Special thanks to out waiter Kole! He made out experience unforgettable!

We had a great dinner at Cubo last night. The service and food were way above their price point and the setting was lovely. They also have a great wine list. The tuna tartare and their signature pate were both outstanding (just don’t eat too many of the grissini so you save room). We then split the salt crusted sea bass for two and they served it beautifully and it was so moist and delicious. The veggies on the side were the perfect accompaniment. We had a great white wine from Simcic (our choice) and then a red recommended by our waiter Mario (it was delicious and half the price of our first bottle pick). Pro tip: it’s only ten minutes from the center but not walkable. We had a drink at a wine bar in the center and realized the location wasn’t in the center and had to scramble to get a taxi. My fault for assuming but we’ll worth the taxi scramble.

High class restaurant with amazing food and large portions. It's not cheap, but it's worth the money. They offer a good selection of different dishes, as well as a wide selection of wine. The service and ambiance are impeccable. The staff speak English and are happy to explain the menu if needed. An excellent place for a fancy dinner or business lunch.

Really great restaurant in business part of city. Easy to access, available parking. Great interior and nice terrace. Delicious food, and great selection of vines. One of my favorites place in Ljubljana.

It’s a great experience. If you have a business meeting, this is the restaurant you go to. Surely one of the most famous in Ljubljana. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing wines, food and service. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations. 10/10 very expensive ... leg of Lamb is must try Was so good that i forget to take the picture

Savory, Spicy, Smokey and Zesty. What an enchanting food experience - definitely a well deserved MICHELIN star. The bartender whipped up a great mocktail which was slightly fruity and slightly earthy.

I can say that this restaurant is the best in Ljubljana. Ambient is just amazing, waiters are super friendly and food is delicious. Overall amazing.

Unassuming from the outside perhaps but absolutely gorgeous food and very professional table service. Highly recommended.

Personally my favorite restaurant in Ljubljana. High quality, amazing and friendly staff. If you want to go there, make sure you have a reservation, it’s often crowdy.
