We are just wowed by how amazing the pizza was. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients and the passion in every bite. Love the house wine too! Great cozy place and enthusiastic Staffs.

Delicious pizzas and meat dishes in the centre of the country's capital. It's a bit on the expensive side, even considering the location, but the culinary experience is well worth the occasional investment. The drink selection leaves something to be desired, but the beer is enjoyable nevertheless.

In my opinion, this is one of the best pizza places in Ljubljana. Quality of the food and ingredients are superb and the 'Burratina' is by far my favourite option. Pricing seems reasonable. Service could use a bit more work.

I’ve been here before for a couple of times for a quick lunch and I’ve choosen to come this time with my family to celebrate my birthday and I was really pleased how kind and funny the waiter was, he really made our lunch an enjoyable one. The dishes were all amazing, delicious and nicely decorated. Desserts were awesome. The shade at 3 pm in summer is perfect at the front, so it was really enjoyable to eat outside, not much insects or anything to disturb our meal.

The pizza's are absolutely delicious, thanks to the fresh ingredients used in every dish. The house wine is excellent and the service is best in class. Cosy atmosphere when you can sit outside on the terras on a warm summer night. Recommended!

Perfect place for some real Italian food. We ordered risotto and a pizza; both very tasteful and for a reasonable price. Service was to-the-point.

5-6 kg restaurant in Ljubljana Slovenia This restaurant is a great place to go for pizza. The staff is friendly and the pizza is very good. We ordered three pizzas: Margherita, Bresola, and Tuna. The Tuna pizza was the best of the three. It was loaded with tuna and had a great flavor. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good pizza in Ljubljana.

By chance I was walking near here about lunchtime and I decided to give this lovely bistro a try. One of their daily specials happened to be one of My favorites. Please read untill the end. Ossobuco with puree and glazed carrots. 15€ on special. Great flavor, reasonable portion, and not dry, stale, or reheated from yesterday like it can be at some shady establishments. This was clearly cooked slowly from very early this morning. I like mine a little more stewed, but this is a different style and a pleasure to eat. House red wine. 2.80€ on special during lunch. What can I say here, a private label house red from the Brda region that consists of Merlot, CabSav, and CabFranc. It is Slovenian thru and thru; delicious, well rounded, aromatic, & a fantastic value. It was a. Great compliment to My lunch without being too little or too much for the plate. They also have a nice selection of wines on their list if you are looking for something special. I would suggest the Bagueri Merlot as a more full-bodied option at an excellent pricing of 40€ per bottle. Dessert was Profiteroli - a puff pastry with chocolate mousse inside and handmade cream on the outside. 3,50€ as the lunch special if ordered with the main. It was new to Me, but actually delicious. I don't usually eat sweets, so the ones in Europe are surprisingly less sweet than the Stateside counterparts. Served with raspberry compote and some strawberry slices. Overall one of My best dining experiences in the last month. Service was attentive without being annoying. The attendant spoke fantastic English, provided an English menu, & the daily specials menu was available in English as well, a nice touch. What they are know for is their handmade pizza. I will try that next time. The oven is right up front and you can watch from start to finish. The atmosphere and dress are casual. Parking is available on the street for 0.5€ per hour, but it is hard to get as there are several restaurants in the area. Please don't miss this gem! Value, service and great food abound here. I will surely be back often.

This was my second visit to 5-6kg and I love it. As someone who travels a lot and who lives in Italy and is obsessed with a good pizza I must say that this one is by far one of the best pizza places outside of Napoli. Pizza with Cured ham, Tiramisu and Lamb with cottage cheese rolls are divine. And the waiters are cute too

There is a lot of good places where you can eat good here in Ljubljana, like you we also googled where to go and realized choices are limitless for such small capital. But somehow,vfor some unknown reason, our first choice was this place. Ratings are good and we knew finding a free table on Saturday evening might be mission impossible. And we weren't wrong. At entrance we were asked fo we have reservation, we said no, and ecit. Luckily one waiter overheard our conversation went out and brought us back into this paradise. For starters we took one pizza and splitted for two person. I can't remember where and when I got so heavenly full of taste ingridients on pizza!? From dough to perfffect tomato sauce on it. Our mouths were watering. And if you follow me you know I am very sensitive when people talk about good pizza. But this was really unexpectedly tasteful. And this was just for starter! Whatever they brought us after this pizza, even empty plate I would give this place rating 5 out of 5. But luckily on our plates arrived perfectly tender cooked pork knuckle with perfectly crispy roasted skin. OMG. Oh my God! Meat was melting when touched my tongue, I didn't wanna swallow it how good it was. Perfectly cooked, salted, seasoned... This was another surprise. I wush I could say the same for lamb which arrived on other plate, meat was also good, but sonething was missing. Salt? Yup, that was it, no doubt. Somehow you could feel taste of meat but that something salty on tongue was missing. For dessert we ordered choco souffle for which waiter tood us they need 15minutes for making it to be fresh, we saod no problem. Take all the time you need. Other dessert was cheesecake with forest fruits, I liked this more then souffle but both were very delicious. Cheesecake I prefered mote because I like more fruits vs. chocolate, and it was cold unlike souffle which has to be served warm so chocolate could melt on your plate. Fir drink we took Soc1alist beer, it was match with all the food we ordered. For two of us all this was 85€, one pizza, two main meals, two desserts and two beers. I think it's a fair price. ♥️ If you have opportunity go here you wont be sorry.

Authentic Slovenian restaurant with delicious meals and also some non-Slovenian dishes such as pizza and pasta. They also have a great offer of wines and beers. I suggest to make a reservation since it can get very busy on the weekends. It's very popular with families and larger groups.

Very good place for lunch/dinner. Reservation needed. Had a fantastic host -Gregor, very helpful, polite and quick. We had a starter of a house pate - very very, good but too big a portion. And it came with with delicious warm bread. For the mains we had grilled lamb and grilled mangulica shoulder. Both done to perfection. Came with mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables. I think that baked potatoes or chips would be better and I would skip the sauce. All of the grilled vegetables were very good, they should omit broccoli. Red house wine was also very very good. Have to say that the pizzas they were serving looked fantastic and we will definitely go back to try them. All in all worth visiting. Delicious!

Great if not the best pizza in town. The dough is really thin and not overwhelming while eating. One thing they can improve is to spread the topping more to the edges, as it currently is like 2/3 and 1/3 is dough.

Very nice place. Pizza was good, but it was pasta that impressed me more. I had pasta with some traditional meat - really tasty. we were lucky to find a table without reservation, but it's obviously a popular place to eat with limited space. I recommend that you call in advance.

I heard many good things about this restaurant, but sadly we were dissapointed. I wouldn't say don't go, but my experience was not sadisfactory. The pizza i ordered was not rich in toppings, if it wasn't for the couple nduja drops, that gave it a bit of flavour. Amazing dough, to be fair. The pork meat was tasty, but not satisfactory and the portion was not rich; not with flavour nor with the amout served. Not being greedy, just nothing compared to the pictures they show or post on social media. Service was amazing, very helpful. I don't have anything against the place, i really wabted to love it but it fell short, at least to us.

Came here by recommendation from a walking tour. Make sure to make a reservation. We were seated and given the menu. After placing our drinks, when the waiter came to take the order, I chose something unique and local. The waiter then proceeded to tell me they didnt have anything from the main dishes on the menu except octopus, pizza, and they were in the process of changing the menu. I watched the waiter do the exact same thing to the table next to us, after they had picked their food option. A very poor excuse for not saying something up front. I blame management and the waiter, this is a simple scenario to work around. If a new menu is coming, cross it out or say something in the beginning. The table next to me was also frustrated and proceeded to spend additional time finding alternatives. I ordered a pizza as an alternative. Pizza was good. It did have ingredients that were not listed in the description, olives, which I strongly dislike. They gave us knives that were duller than spoons, to cut the pizza with. Would recommend some better service, better knives and some sense.

Really good pizza. The place is cute and a little bit away from the busy part of town, so feels a little more peaceful. A lot of the reviews here mention bad service but all the waiters were perfectly polite and friendly to us!

We went here with 5 people and 2 dogs and the staff were very kind and welcoming. The location is influenced by Italian and Slovenian style and so very charming. Our waiter did a great job. His questions and serving was on point and he speaks also good English and German which made our conversation easy. My pizza was fantastic. I ordered the Buffalina which was one of the best pizza so far. As as dessert I had the cheesecake which was also very good. All in all go there and enjoy the food and atmosphere.

Pizza that I've ordered was not great, Marinara (on the menu they listed baked parmigiano, of which I've found one piece), the interior is interesting. Staff was welcoming and nice.

Really delicious pizza and good white wine (Zelen). The chili oil is also quite good and goes perfectly with pizza. I had an amazing dinner.

Pizza is 12/10, high quality ingredients, tasty and does not make you feel bloated when you eat it. Also staff is very kind and attentive, a must visit place in Ljubljana!

The food was absolutely good, they do serve very delicious pizzas. The service is very attentive, friendly and helpful. The wine suggestions are available which goes best with your ordered pizza. I did try their special orange wine, which I really liked. The ambience is good, and the sitting arrangement outside is awesome. I did order a vegetarian pizza with the mozzarella ball on the top, and it was just lip smacking. The prices are like those in a good Italian restaurant in Germany, but it is worth the taste you get here.

Nice food, friendly waiters & quick service. We turned up without a reservation when they were busy but the waiter they had a table outside which we accepted. I would visit again but sit inside as it was a bit cold (early Sept) and not well lit where we were sitting so the food went cold quickly. It was very tasty though, although neither of us had pizza! I'd try the pizzas next time.
