Excellent restaurant with very good Slovenian food and top wines. Very nice people and very good service. See me again!

The waiter was really friendly and used well placed neutral jokes. He explained menu and their vision. They are so proud of their local meat, that I've ate mid-rare pork first time in my life. The wine went well with tasty food. Overall I love that they are small and take great care and pride in their few dishes. Worth of visiting.

We died and went to charcuterie heaven. Seriously though, they have their own Slovenia Prosciutto that they slice at the front of the restaurant which was delicious, but even better was the mixed plate. It was one of the most decadent things I've ever eaten. Check out the pic with the fattiest bacon I've ever seen in my life. Wine was spectacular too. Go here.

Is an excellent place to eat and drink typical Slovenian food. I went with my family two times of 4 days in slovenia, highly recommended. the prices are cheap.

A must try. Amazing food prepared with ingredients from their wild pigs. The lardo was exceptional, never tasted any like it. Great dishes and lovely service.

Great dinner (food, place AND staff!). The opportunity to taste Slovenians dishes in a cosy atmosphere. Food was great, so were the recommendations and the service overall. It's a few minutes off the beaten paths but a worthy choice. Thank you

Excellent local dishes prepared with care. View of the castle from outdoor seating. Nice wine list, try the local Orange wine. The pasta with truffle and the Krškopolje pig carpaccio were exceptional. Friendly wait staff.

Great food and dessert.

On the expensive side, but the wine and the food is very good. Filet minon was almost blue rare, rather than medium rare, but it was quite tasty.

Excelent Food and local wine. Loved it! The pork is terrific, pasta with truffles paired perfectly with their local red wine. Staff was super welcoming and offered great recommendations.

I ll admit we only had soup but this was because there wasn't what we wanted and the soup was extremely average to tastless... It is also veeery expensive too but the waiter was very very nice and helpful

Great service and experience with Italian cured meats. Loved the lard, aged in brine for years. Exceptional orange wines.

I would love to give five stars, but I cannot, unfortunately. Please let me explain: the main dishes we wanted were not available. The mains we got were just perfect, very delicious and tasted like home-made. The wine we wanted to order, was not available, the wine we got was very nice. The dessert we wanted to order was not available, the dessert we got was okay. All in all, I guess we just happened to visit on the wrong day. Please do visit this establishment, it is worth the short walk from the city center.
