Waited one and a half hour for our diner and the place wasn’t even fully booked. The sushi mix was supposed to feed two adults but barely managed to do so for our two 10yo’s. One star for the waiter who finally admitted it was a mess in the kitchen and offered us a discount.

This was the second time I had been to this place, the food there is great and high quality with whatever you order, which Is impressive. For the second time here I ordered chicken gyoza, which were very tasty and cooked to perfection. For the main I ordered chicken curry without the seasoned vegetables on the side. The chicken was again cooked perfectly, it was tender and wasn't dry. The sauce was the perfect spice level for those who like heat and those who don't. Along side the food the waiters were great, very kind and attentive. The speed of the food to the table wasn't the fastest although that wasn't that much of a factor as it wasn't slow either. I would highly recommend this place if you enjoy japanese cuisine.

Taste of Nigiri was quite nice. Beyond my expectations as an asian. However, service was too much slow… I try to contact my eyes on waiters to place an order for sushi but it took a half hour to get her attention.

My review is based on other sushi places around the world, so this might be good for the area but definitely nothing special about it and I would not revisit if I am here. Too much rice compared to salmon/tuna amount in maki rolls, not many options for special rolls, sake is the worst, cold is not even cold :) and honestly tried both aged and not aged, and still was not impressed.

This is a modern looking restaurant, with quite some dishes to choose from. Service is good, not super friendly or helping but they got everything we wanted right. Food is OK, certainly not what you can get in Japan, but it is certainly not bad. The ramen broth was a bit bland and portion size was just OK for this price. Overall: good enough if you don't expect high end food.

The place is small but it has a pretty nice vibe to it, the waiter told us we'd have to wait a bit because there were a lot of people but it was pretty empty and we waited around 30min for food. Then the waiter spilled some of the food and I thought we were gonna get a new plate but they gave us the plate they spilled and the cucumbers that fell down they cut new ones and put them into the plate with their bare hands while I was eating. Im sure they are washed but I felt like that was out of line and unprofessional. And for the prices, the portions are REALLY small, I paid around 100€ for 4 people and we left the place hungry. Wouldn't recommend. Also the doors are broken and they were out of ramen.

Waited more than an hour for our ramen, which is nothing like in the pictures of other reviewers or their online menu. We received noodles with half an egg, quarter of a spring onion and chicken/shrimps/tofu in a bowl of water. It was more of a soup.

Good quality sushi at less than budget pricing. Nice variety of dishes including plenty of vegetarian options. Located near the City Hall on a pedestrian street.

Unfortunately, we had a bad experience. After waiting 50 minutes for ramen, the waitress came to say that she had forgotten to give our order. It then took almost another half an hour before we got our food. Moreover, we ate inside and we heard the staff laughing and talking to each other a lot while we were waiting. The ramen itself was not so bad.

The Sushi was good but not excellent. If you don't want to spend too much money it's the place to be. The service was really not that good. Bottle of wine was opened and glasses came filled on the table. Waited long to pay and the drinks came with the food which we ordered 10min later.

Great sushi, super slow service. Even with only 5 tables outside, we waited over 30 mins for the order. Starter and the main dish come all at once.

Very nice Restaurant and Staff. After ordering, my girlfriend was feeling unwell and needed an Ambulance. The waiter was very nice and called one for us and helped with everything. On top of that, we got our order to go and for free! I would give more stars if I could. The food also turned out to be great. 100% recommended!

We got pretty 'good' expectations from this restaurant as the food looked pretty yummy, it turned out the service was slow, and our food wasn't delivered after 15 minutes of waiting. That's the first disappointment. The second disappointment was I ordered the ramen with tempura prawns, and the kitchen placed the crispy prawns in the ramen soap (not on top of the noodle) so the prawns just dissolved - not the right way of serving the tempura - at least in Japan they'd never do that. And the kitchen also messed up my partner's order, which was the rice with salmon and avocado (how did they do it, we have no idea as it's a relatively simple dish) so he had to wait longer to get his food. Overall, it's an OK restaurant if you don't expect much. Oh yeah, my ramen soup was a bit over-salty too.

You must try the spicy miso soup. It was the best miso soup I tried and you can set a level of spiciness you want. The sushi was OK, not the best in town, place is small and prices are very high. The waitress was very friendly, he forgot to bring us soup and gave as strength the sushi, but after we reminded him for the soup he apologized and gave us the soup for free - very nice gesture.

Pleasantly surprise that the udon is nice.. the firm texture i like. Soup is a bit salty. Aburi and lima roll taste good too. would be good if the sushi is in bite size portion.

Its a nice small restaurant, the people are very friendly, the restaurant is kept clean, i had the beef tenderloin ramen, this was however not as tasty as it looked, it was fine but the bouillon was bland.

It has a nice restaurant with good atmosphere, soba is my favorite, it's close to japanese taste👍️　I love it ♥️

Pretty decent sushi spot! The restaurant is very small, dainty and homey. They offer a small selection of sushi rolls that taste fresh! We ordered the large sushi plate + an additional roll to try a bit of everything and I’m glad we did. It was both filling and yummy. The waiter was also quite friendly ! Appreciate good service. If you’re looking for a good sushi spot in the heart of Ljubljana, I would say, this place is good.

Sushi was ok, nothing special to be honest. Waitress was preoccupied, we waited quite a long time just to order drinks, but she was still nice. The abiance was not to my liking, it was too loud and not really relaxing.

Very polite service and the food is worth the time you wait for it.

My boyfriend took me here for my birthday, as soon as we arrive we were told there were no ramen, which was something we really wanted to try, the sushi we had was ok, but not the best... It was only 3 pieces of sushi which isn't much... We left, still a bit hungry and paid 80€ for 2. Def don't recommend, I understand good sushi is expensive but this was ok sushi and not that much and way too expensive for what it is. It also took 1h to get our food.

The ramen was very good, perhaps a little on the salty side. There were a lot of sides in the broth, which I liked a lot! Would recommend and eat again :)

The main pain point was the waiting time, they seem to have a huge organizational problem, not only us 4 needed to wait 1 and a half hour for our meals . They did not serve it the right way, the edamame came all together with some sushi ( one maki they forgot) and with the noodles. All the dishes have normally a fast preparation, until they atended for the drinks it took a lot of time, the waitress was slow, avarage friendly with few experience , the quality was average too, nothing special. We saw people going because of the waiting time, and people entering were asked to go because of no free tables, they did not plan times and we saw that they were loosing business because of that. After complaining at the end they felt sorry , confirming their organizational problems and gave a 20% discount, if you are visiting the city for one day and do not have 3 hours for lunch, try another restaurant.
