I'm rating this restaurant 5 stars not because they had the best food or service, but because it was the only restaurant accepted to let us dine-in after 9:30pm. This may sound weird to you, but restaurants in Ljubljana don't serve food after 9:30pm, some even close their doors by 9pm. Long story short, the place was good, the servers were kind and helpful. Obviously no one wears masks anymore, but nevertheless they served us the food quickly and we were happy to be able to eat at night. Also, the chips quantity was a lot more comparing to the Guacamole. The chips were very salty. The prawns tacos was so tasty but also very spicy. After all, Mexican food can rarely go wrong, and Cafe Romeo managed it well!

This place is amazing. It is near the river so you can enjoy the view of Cobblers bridge. They serve salads, burritos, nachos and different desserts. They also serve different alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. The salad I ordered was very tasty. The prices are moderate.

Very disappointing! The lunch experience was very poor. The burrito 🌯 didn't look nor tasted like one, being without rice and beens. The guacamole was tasteless and seems old (kept cold in a fridge). The beef wasn't fresh and not juicy at all. The portions were too small for the price. 9.50€ for a small beef burrito. The nachos were of low quality and had far too much sauce mixture in it. Also the chimichanga was too small, had no side dish and wasn't tasty. So the entire food experience was poor and the price too high for what you get. Btw, we were still hungry afterwards. As for the service, it was ok. Pretty fast, but not very attentive. Altogether, not to recommend. You will surely find something better to eat around, for the same price.

Disappointed with crêpes. Used to be big and full. Now they are smaller of what they used to be for bigger the price. Can't recommend the café anymore. Too expensive for what you get. Images for comparison

Honestly, this place what over my expectations based off how nuchal you actually paid. The portions were both big and good and not expensive.

A very nice cafe next to the river in the old centre of Ljubljana. They serve a wide assortment of coffees, soft drinks, and alcoholic drinks (including some cocktails). If you're feeling hungry, they also have some savory meals, but their specialty are a variety of overindulgent pancakes with different fillings and dressings. Recommended if you've got a sweet tooth.

Best crepes and cocktails in town! 10/10 and waiters are great and very welcoming. Highly recommend a visit.

We really loved this place during our visit to Ljubljana. The atmosphere is great. The food is really good! We tried the quesadillas and some chips. They have a wide variety of dishes and drinks too. On all the times we visited the service and food were great! Would definitely recommend!

on a business trip we took a walk through the lovely city of Ljubljana and we were looking for some nice salads. we found this place with a free table directly at the river and we were amazed about the food and the service! Such friendly and helpful on a level which I was not used to! The Salad was also very great! We really loved it!

We had Chicken Quesadillas and a Nutella Crepes. The Crepes cost 5,40€ and the size is pretty big. But it was a bit too much Nutella for my taste. I think the price is a bit too high. The Chicken Quesadillas disappointed. They tasted okay but pretty forgettable. I didnt like the Guacamole though. They cost 5,50€. The ambiente is pretty because you sit right next to the river. All in all it is okay

We had a warm and a cold pasta salad, better choose the warm one, however, there are probably better options in general. What we really liked was the pancake afterwards. Delicious! Please have one if you go there for lunch etc.

We were recommended to go here for drinks and dessert and both were phenomenal! Get a crepe- particularly the Twix crepe if you like caramel. The drinks were decent sizes, lots of choices including nonalcoholic cocktails for the kids to try! There are overhead heaters outside that leave a bit to be desired but much better than nothing on a chilly evening. The location is wonderful, right in the heart of the center and next to the river, perfect for sitting, enjoying your time in a foreign country and people watching. (Not sure about the actual food because my kids just ordered quesadillas and that’s nearly impossible to screw up but they enjoyed them if that helps)

Tables filled with dishes from previous customers. The cleanliness of the space and toilet 2.5/5 The waiter was drunk and you could smell it from his breath. Grabbed the cups by the rim. It took 37min for (very simple) food to arrive. The price fine for its location, portion of food on the smaller side. Food it self was 3.7/5

Tacos with beef were one of the best tacos I had since my trip to Mexico. This is a must to visit place! The location, food and service was just exceptional. Thank you, guys! ♥️

Nice terras to eat. The food is tastefull, the people are very friendly is the value for money is splendid 🥳 We shared different dishes with our kids and they loved it also!

Mexicanish restaurant without any authentic mexican kind of fresh tastes. We came here to eat evening dinner. We ordered tuna burrito (10,9€) and Romeo salad (9,5€). We also ordered nacho chips with guacamole (3,9€). Burrito tasted just canned tuna in tortilla wrap. It had some red and white sauce on it, but I could not taste their flavours. For some reason there was an additional cup of that white tasteless sauce which was bad with nachos too. Rome salad came with some weird cheese on top which was very odd tasting (bad stuff). We had to check the menu and it said the salad should have mozzarella. I haven’t ever seen this kind of cottage cheese which was fully dipped in vinegar. Not recommended for food. Maybe more suitable place for drinking.

Really good place for the price you pay. It has some great snacks like nachos, quesadilla, sandwiches and so on and good salads. The personal is also fast to arrive.

Lovely people and good food served in no time. One of the rare restaurants in the city to welcome you after 9 30 pm which is a big plus. I recommend this place !

Unfortunately, the visit resulted in extreme food poisoning. My company and me shared all of the meals in other places in Ljubljana on the day, however I was the only one that didn't have the pancakes and was saved from the all night vomiting. Unfortunately, my friends were not so lucky. Since I can see everyone is raving about the pancakes it could have been a one time thing, but you should definitely be more careful about what you're serving in the future.
