They have a huge variety of traditional Indian and Nepalese food. The service was so lovely, the place nice and the food incredibly delicious. In my opinion, the best Indian restaurant in Ljubljana. The food is always delicious. If you need help with food, ask the waiters You can choose an intensity from 0-5 for each hot food. Their mango lassi is excellent.

The food, the atmosphere and the service are great :) the food was really excellent, but despite that, I think the price could have been a little lower. nevertheless, we will definitely come again on some occasion, celebration :)

Great place, food tastes delicious there! Also portions are quite big. You can take set for two and share it among 3-4 people. Prices are also good for this quality and quantity of food.

Great place, lovely atmosphere and tasty food. We ordered chicken tikka, black lentils, lamb and vegetables in curry sauce and all the dishes were mouthwatering and beautifully served. We had a really friendly waiter who helped us choose a variety of foods from the menu. Nan bread is fantastic, especially the garlic one, crispy and fresh. We also got 6 different sauces with our food, all of them uniqu. Warmly recommended.

Loved the amount of vegan options! Had yummy chana masala chickpeas and mango lassi which was so creamy, thick and best vegan lassi I’ve ever had.

Very friendly staff and tasty food. Update: Next time I came I did not enjoy the food much. I could taste the cheap tomato sauce in my curry, I also dislike red food coloring.

We have had Indian food across many capital cities in Europe but this is by far one of the best spicy, Indian food we had in this part of Europe. Ivan, one of staff was very professional and yet very cheerful. Getting served by such cheerful person, makes food further more tasteful. Highly recommend this restaurant.

The food is great BUT.. ALWAYS CHECK YOU GOT ALL THAT YOU ORDERED if you are ordering delivery. 7 out of 10 times something is missing. For example, several times the bread that comes with salads is missing, sometimes drinks, and once even only the sauce for the pasta came, without the pasta...

Always nice service and delicious food. The waiter will remember you even after few years and that's a sign of quality staff working here. Food is Indian and Nepalese so very tasty and full of flavor experience. Go for it you won't regret it. 5⭐

Nice Indian/Nepalese place to come to for some food that’s different from what you would normally find around. The food was good and the atmosphere was very nice. When you walk in, you can smell the spices they use to cook the dishes and the menu is very clearly layer out so you can easily choose between the Indian and Nepali dishes. We were a group of 6 and were recommended to have the mixed menu with both Indian and Nepali dishes. The staff were very friendly but it would have been good to get an explanation of which dishes were Indian and which were Nepali. We also couldn’t swap out one naan for a different one we wanted which was strange but overall the food was good and the service was pleasant as well. Definitely recommended as they cater for everyone’s dietary requirements and also levels of spicyness.

Tried the chicken as well as beef dish with plain as well as aaloo naan and it was quite delicious I must say. Tried the masala tea after dinner and that was very nicely done as well. Recommended for indian/Pakistani food if you are looking for one in Ljubljana.

It is not easy to find delicious Indian/Nepali food, but the food served in this restaurant is beyond expectations, and the service provided by Mr. Ivan is highly professional.

The staff are extremely generous and really loved the hospitality shown. You can get both Nepalese and Indian dishes here. There is a parking place opposite to the restaurant.

Absolutely amazing Indian food. Easily the best in Ljubljana. I got takeout from them one time that was so hot and fresh it was still burning hot when it got to my door after a 3km delivery. I've never even had food that hot and fresh when going to a restaurant in person ever. The quantity is great, the flavors are perfect, and the quality of the ingredients are fantastic. Highly recommended for anyone in the area who is a fan of Indian Cuisine!

First of all, the service was one of the best ever. The waitress was very friendly, we were welcomed warmly into the restaurant, when we were eating she came to check on us asking whether everything was okay. The communication and hospitality were great. And of course the food was tasty, flavourful and made us feel great. We enjoyed our time there and will come back again!

The best indian food in Slovenia in my opinion.

Amazing place! There is one room with chairs and tables and one with the carpet on the floor, pillows and shorter tables so you will be sitting in the floor while eating. Also you will have to take your shoes off and wear slippers to enter that room. (They have a lot of slippers for the guests :) ). I took all you can eat menu for 9.90€, food was awesome! The open buffet includes also salad bar, souces, and water. Apart from meals including meat or fish, the buffet includes both vegan and vegetarian meals. The staff have no problem speaking English.

Nice Indian and Nepalese place with delicious food and all you can eat as well as a la carte menu. They have many gluten free and vegan options with allergens well marked. If you take all you can eat, you do not really taste the specifics of the dishes; hence, a la carte would be better choice. For all you dan eat, you have around ten options: Indian bread, soup (e.g. chickpeas soup), basmati rice, noddles, beef/chicken in a sauce with spices, different combinations of vegetables in sauce and spices. I especially liked tofu with spinach. The personnel is friendly and helpful, atmosphere good.

Very good food, nice ambiente, highly recommended for everyone who wants to eat Indian or Nepalese food. Maybe a bit pricey for Slovenia.

The best place if you are student and like spicy and vegeterian and even non vegetarian food. They have traditional Indian soups, main dishes, desserts, drinks..etc On the entrance you can leave your shoes and take flippers for the room where you sit on the floor and have a nice meal. Be careful with spicy things.. They could be very strong for people who are not used to it.

We liked this place. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was nice and it was a lot, we took some home to eat for breakfast. It is a bit outside of the city center, but it was worth a visit. Loved their mango lassi and momos!

I've eaten from here several times, love the Manchurian dish, tandoori chicken here. They are pretty tasty. But recently ordered Butter chicken here, i didn't like it at all. It was very sweet, lots of added colors and taste wasn't great.

The food is great. Which is amazing if its the only thing that matters to you. Service is nothing to write home about, though, at the very least they are always and without exception, kind to the last. The atmoaphere is... washed out. Which makes sense for ljubljana, we dont do well with authentic unless its some kind of wurst or maybe a cabbage soup.

Very good food and speedy delivery, called to double check I wanted a very spicy curry which was excellent. Will definitely order from here again!

I generally don't write reviews but the food and service here is outstanding. I am a well travelled vegetarian born and brought up in India. The tandoor items they have are the best I've eaten outside India. The garlic chapati and mango lassi were delicious too! Loved the food so much that I also ordered some food to eat for dinner. The service was impeccable. I got great recommendations of places to visit along the way. Hope I get to visit this restaurant again! Highly recommend!

We had a very good time at Maharaja & Himalaya! The food was super delicious and the staff very friendly. We had a vegetarian menu for two people. It was lot’s of food and super tasty. You can also sit on the floor if you want to. It was more an experience than just having food. We would really recommend this place!
