This is a touristic restaurant on the main pedestrian mall in the city center. It is spread out over two floors. Menus are available in English French, and Spanish. All types of cuisine are available. The service was quick and efficient. The food is moderately priced with good portions.

Ljubljana is so neat city and people are really nice and friendly. That's why we decided to stay a day longer and the owner of our hotel recommended a food tour. We were welcomed by a nice girl Simona who took us for a tour around the city center stopping at local restaurants. We had each course in a different place and this was awesome. Food was very good and dishes abundant. So, it's not only a tasting but actually eating! Thanks to the back office and Simona.

Ljubljana is an amazing town and if you ever happen to stop there, I would recommend the combo of city tour and restaurants. A great formula and perfectly organized tour. You will enjoy it!

Would recommend this food tour to all Ljubljana visitors. I found about this food tour online and decided to give it a shot. Since I was visiting Ljubljana for 3 days, I had enough time to do something out of the ordinary. I'm glad I did this because I really had a good time. Nice people in the group, great guide who answered to all of our (silly) questions and really good food paired with good wine. I liked almost everything, just that I'm not really a meat lover and did not realize I could ask for vegetarian option. But it was prepared very well and I ate everything.

We had a great private food tour with Simona. She did a great job of providing an overview of how you’re eating and drinking around the different regions of Slovenia. She also sprinkled in some history and gave us plenty of ideas for our free day (we’re heading to her favorite wine bar shortly for an apertivo before dinner). The food and wines were all delicious and plentiful but not too much. We’ve done some food tours in other destinations where you wanted to swear off food for a month afterwards. This tour struck the perfect balance. All dishes were delicious but don’t miss the zlikrofi.

Great food tour in Ljubljana! We ate dishes from around the country and sampled local cheeses and oils. We added the extra wines, which was really worth it as Simona really knows her stuff! The tour was also a bit of a guide to the city and its history and Simona gave plenty of tips for what else to do and see. We went back to two of the restaurants to try a couple of other dishes. Oh my goodness! I thought I didn’t like French food. I would come back for the bread and butter alone. Coming in by myself in 100 degree heat they were going to seat me outside. Understandably given coronavirus and having to keep distance …

Best Slovenian Desert! Everything was good but the best was the dessert with poppy seeds, apples and walnuts and red wine. I don’t remember the name of this traditional cake :) I would invite you to take this food tour when you are in Ljubljana. You will love it as I did!

If I'm discovering a new city, I do it through food! And that's why I love Ljubljana! Amazing atmosphere everywhere you go and incredible food! Perfect for my taste! Food touring was something new to me, but I enjoyed every second of it!

Highly recommend seeing the city this way. Simona was knowledgeable, picked excellent places to see and eat, and was great to talk to during our tour. The wines paired magnificently and she gave us a bunch of recommendations for other places to try in the city too.

Highly recommend this food tour! Maybe as it was a Monday in September, but it turned out to be just my partner and I joining our lovely tour guide Simona, which was great as we had a wonderful chat over the afternoon whilst walking round the old town of Ljubljana. Simona was an amazing guide and was very knowledgeable about the food, Ljubljana and Slovenia in general. We stopped at different stalls, shops and restaurants for about 7 different tastings including a dessert, as well as having 4 different wines. We were stuffed! My partner is vegetarian and that was well catered for throughout the tour. I would recommend pre-booking and doing the tour at the beginning of your trip so you can explore the things suggested during the rest of your stay (we took ours a few hours before getting our flight back!).

Our Ljubljana food tour has been the highlight of our Slovenian vacation. We had a big family group (ages 5 to 76), including a vegetarian and a person in a wheelchair. LjubljanaNjam and Meta were so wonderful and thoughtful to work with in ensuring that there was something enjoyable for everyone at every stop and they went above and beyond to make sure we could get to and from as well as in and out all of the locations with a wheelchair. They even helped locate a parking garage with an elevator and accessible bathrooms throughout the city. On top of all of that, the food was all wonderful (a great sampling of different regional cuisines from across the country, plus a good mix of fancy and rustic) and our guide Alenka was so knowledgeable and warm and fun to spend an evening with. I can’t recommend this tour enough!!
