Kind service, my apple strudel seemed a bit expensive. The coffee product is okay. Not great. I like the location and rustic design.

Every time I give them a chance I’m disappointed yet again. Good beans won’t help if equipment is lacking and staff is not educated how to use it. With so many great coffee places in Ljubljana nowadays do yourself a favor and pass on Čokl.

Just amazing coffee. When we entered the café we didn't see any menu and we weren't sure if there is a service or if we have to order at the bar. Nevertheless after we sat down on a very nice terrace we were served almost immediately. The cappuccino was one of the best coffees I have ever had and it was only €2.40. The location is also very nice. The café is on foot of the castle hill and if you sit on the terrace you can watch castle funicular as you drink your perfect cup of coffee.

Cozy place right in the middle of Ljubljana. They serve good specialty coffee and they speak really good english. Must try when in town. You can see the furnicular right from their terrace.

Hands down the best cup of coffee I've had in the world. And for such a reasonable price. I was extremely shocked when I saw the bill because the coffee was made with so much attention and tasted perfect. You got the fruity notes (not acidic just fruity) from the beans that blended well with the velvety chocolate taste. Perfection in a glass.

Very small bar but the coffee is great. Not really comfortable to sit for a longer time. The patrons are somewhat international.

Cute small café! The iced espresso was really delicious and refreshing during warm summer days! And a bonus is that one espresso only costs € 1,50!

Great coffee if you love a a cup in Ljubljana, 2 munites walk from tourist information centre, Dragon Bridge. Total relax, chill out.

My experience at Cafe Cokl was quite nice. Decent size terrace area for seating outside. Especially nice a warm summer day. I ordered the Iced Latte Macchiato. The flavor was as they hastily threw it together. They gave a few shakes in a cocktail shaker with 2-3 ice cubes and served in a cup. Due to this lack of ice, it was not very cold. I can't speak for the warm drinks and will have to go again to review that. However, based on what I was served. I was let down. On the other hand the staff was friendly and attentive.

Truly unique coffee offerings, prepared by skilled baristas who care, this café is amazing for anyone who appreciates great coffee. The outdoor seating compliments the cozy indoor atmosphere. A lot of unseen work goes into creating such a laid back feel, and the conversations with the baristas and other guests arise naturally. We’ve been in Ljubljana for 3 days and have come to Čokl 6 times already. We cannot recommend this café enough - they are actually saying something.

If you want great coffee, this is the place to go. There's alternative milk (oat) option too.

When a sign in the window says: Friends don't let friends drink Starbucks, you know you're getting good coffee. Pair that with dedication and fair trade and you get a perfect place for a perfect cup ❤️
