Has an absolute blast here. There are a lot of picture-based optical illusions as well but the real fun lies in the more interactive exhibits! Great place for kids as well as adults. Just had the best time playing around here.

It was not the first time I visited the house of Illusions with my kids. The weather was unpredictable today, and we chose indoor activities with my son and hiš friends. It looks like we were not the only ones who made this decision. We didn't wait to enter, but later, we saw people who did. The museum looked quite popular and was a bit too full. The museum is small and It takes just about half an hour to go through all the rooms. It is better if children are guided by parents to better understand what to do, otherwise, they just run around, at least, mine. Nice place to visit with children 4-9 y.o. However, it is not a place where you want to come regularly.

Fun experience while in Ljubljana! Great for all ages. Whether you enjoy taking pictures or solving tricky games, at the House of Illusions you will get your money’s worth. You can get a discount through the tourist office or at the free walking tour.

I am happy to have visited, it is some fun for all ages. Not too big, so don’t expect to spend a lot of time here. Rooms and inventory looks like it needs a refurbishment really soon 🙈 Avoid the offer of a toy (not good quality) and slush (too chemical) if you book online.

It was really fun visiting house of illusions with my family. We ran around and explored different illusions and took some funny and memorable pictures. We also got some puzzles from their store. Totally worth the visit if you’re around Ljubljana center. Keep in mind there’s a possibility of a wait line, and that the last time of entry is 8pm, because it could take an hour to fully explore the place.

I have been to several museums of this kind and I would say this one is more educational than just taking photos (e.g. in South Korea). It's good to come here by Ljubljana city card (included) and spend some time. Staff are friendly. They have some control on the number of visitors so you might need to wait a little bit if there are already too many people inside. Overall I would love to see more exhibitions and corners for some fun pictures.

This was a pretty fun museum, it could be a good place to take some older kids or a nice rainy day activity in the city. Educational while also being pretty fun.

A very interesting and fun filled place. I wrnt on an empty weekday and spent a couple of hours playing mind games and checking out amazing illusions. The staff is super nice and friendly. Special mention to "Ana" who helped me with taking pictures because I was alone there. Definitely recommended. 😁🤩

Nice cashier. Open minded and fun guy, could even talk German! House itself is a miraculous place of illusions, get your friends together and join it for a fun time. In the end you can solve riddles if your patient enough.:D

This was really fun, easy to get around and not too expensive. Great interactivity and variation with the exhibits too. Perfect size, not too big otherwise I think the novelty might have worn off. Really friendly staff and we particularly loved the photo opportunities and the room with games you could try as well. Great little visit, particularly as we found, for a wet morning in Ljubljana!

We had an excellent time here. There are a lot of illusions and mindblowing exhibits, resulting in fun activities for the entire family. We spent 34 euros for a family ticket and it took us around 1 hour to get through all the rooms.

A employee who worked there was calling me a kid like what the do he has any respect I was here some months ago and decided to rate this but the woman was pretty nice overall the illusions were good so yeah.

Had an outstanding time here. Lots of laughs due to the interactive displays. This place makes you feel like a child again. Pricing is a bit steep at 10 euros as you only spend about 1 to 1,5 hours to see the entire exhibition. But the hour is well spend and I felt mentally refreshed afterwards.

I am not sure I would pay for this on its own, butvas part of the city card, it was a great little stop. Fun and quirky, and with some neat stuff. A nice cool break on a hot or busy day.

Its not long . In about 30-40 minutes you can move through all the exibits The price is fair . Nice and interesting , recommended for families.

Since it was our first visit to a place like this, we enjoyed it quite a lot. Otherwise it might feel a bit repetitive if you've already been to a similar place before. The rooms are quite fun. Would recommend going as a small group. Some optical illusions are what you've seen often before online, but it would be quite novel for kids. The entrance fee seems high for the total time and exhibits available. But the staff is super friendly and helpful, so plus points there. The place also has a bathroom and a souvenir shop inside.

This is a fabulous, well priced and interactive experience for the whole family. My son (11) daughter (9) and I spent an afternoon reading, exploring, experimenting and laughing at the mind trickery and the fun of the many interactive illusions. One of the best kid friendly museums I've been to, and fun for the whole family.

A little to expensive for what they offer. Nothing wow. If you visit for the first time an illusion expozition maybe it's interesting. But 13 euro by person for 2 floors with rooms with some illusions who can be seen only if someone make a picture for you and rooms with different products by paper or pictures with different perspectives it's a little to much. So, if you want to go, don't goes alone.

We enjoyed every part of museum. It is interactive, interesting, educational and gives great memories and fun for adults and children.

Due to Corona it was just us... But the more we enjoyed. The rotating tunnel at the end was mind blowing.... Definitely worth seeing. And they change the exhibition often... So pay it a visit when in Ljubljana

It's a fun place with some great photo-shooting opportunities for social media addicts. However, compared to the extent of the exhibition (couple of rooms with 3-4 exhibits, plus some pictures on the walls), it is quite pricy. Overall, fun experience, but I can't look apart from the medium price-to-quality ratio.

Fantastic for kids! However, less so for adults. Unless it's a rainy Sunday.

It was wonderful. I visited it with three kids from age 5 to 11 and they enjoyed it. It's two stories of fun rooms full of various illusions.

Such a fun place to visit. Lots of fun for children and adults in city centre of Ljubljana. And very friendly employees.

Go through the illusion tunnel, look up, to experience then enjoy! So many great illusions. We went to give our kids something to allow their senses to become tricked, but found ourselves acting like kids again and enjoying every moment.

There are some good OI in this building that will surprise you. some are very common some are interesting. I went there with two other friends of mine. They liked it too. The ticket price however per person is 12€. Which I find too much for what it has to offer. Good for children to adult everyone.

A fun way to spend a rainy day. According to your level of interest and participation in the activities, the visit might last between 45 minutes to 2 hours. Only 4* because I found the entry fee pricey. #Ljubljana #museum

This is the second most favorite museum of mine in Ljubljana (the first one is Slovenian National Gallery). Even though a museum is small,Im more than sure you would have visit full of fun,if you come with your kids or friends,it doesn’t matter at all,bc everyone finds something fascinating here. I recommend to visit this museum to everyone during their stay in Ljubljana! 👌🏻💯

A tiny but very enjoyable adventure right in the middle of the city. We had a lot of fun while checking out the different illusions and attractions. If you plan on visiting try not to look at to many photos in advance as they spoil a part of the illusion. A special thanks goes to the guy at the entrance who provided us with an extra history lesson. We really enjoyed that, thanks again! :)

Cool place! Nice tricks and illusions. My personal best crooked mirror, my daughter’s spinning room and my wife’s my head on a plate ;-) Very nice and helpful staff 💪

Affordable, takes roughly an hour, not too crowded on a weekday, friendly staff, and fun illusions and challenges! Worth a visit as a kid or as an adult! Merchandise is a bit pricey, but a good experience all around!

  • 3/5 Majed E. 1 year ago on Google
Pretty fun but too expensive for what they have to offer. Most of their illusions are printed out photos on the walls but other than that there are a couple of fun other illusions. You can finish all of them in like 30 or 45 minutes max. Good for kids.

  • 5/5 Christy D. 1 year ago on Google
Such a good way to spend an hour or two with ways to be cheated by your own eyes! Worth every euro. Pleasure for the whole family, including kids and grandparents. Clearly not all puzzles could be solved within this time, but in an hour or a bit longer you go through all experiences and realise that you can't trust your own eyes. Nice little shop with all games one can try in the game room downstairs. And no electronic games, mostly wood!

Time well spent in the House of Illusions. I've been to another Illusions museum before, each has their special set of unique illusions so it never gets boring. The museum is quite big and everyone will have a good time.
