A smallish church located next to the city park, the church has a very different vibe to it as it is an orthodox church, as the architecture is quite special. They're also open to visitors, the interior is really colourful. Recommend visiting.

Yes! An absolute Must-go. Very interesting church. The entrance is free. If you come by car, I suggest you park the church area to start you tour of city. (€1.20p/h).

Beautiful Orthodox church at the centre of Ljubljana, next to the National Gallery and Opera. Very colourful inside with nice religious shop.

I think it is one of the most beautiful places of worship in the city which is absolutely worth a visit even though it is not known so much. I warn you that from about 9 to 10/10:30 there is mass, so it is not possible to enter to visit it and take pics (as obvious). Externally it may not say much, but inside it is truly a little gem

A gem and a must-visit. The guide books don't seem to know about it. The interior is quite spectacular.

Orthodox church in the centre of Ljubljana. Some easy to see iconography in a setting that is easy to view.

Church worth seeing with many frescoes on columns, walls and vaults. There is hardly a spot that is not painted.

Greek Orthodox church built in 1932 and finished frescoing in 1997. A contemporary church which however contains a medieval charm and classic Byzantine art. Beautiful, mysterious and with vibrant colors. Unfortunately there is no brochure or sign that perhaps tells its story a little

Beautiful, very different from what we are used to seeing in western europe. It's really worth getting inside because the outside is nothing special. You should check ceremony times though, because first time we went there we couldn't really visit as a religious office was taking place.

Very beautiful place of worship - come to get a peace of mind.

Free to enter. The layout and artwork is very different to what people from Catholic/Protestant backgrounds will be used to. A knowledgeable gentleman whom I assume was a priest explained the meanings of some of the icons.

Serbian-Orthodox church in Ljubljana. It was built in the 1930s during the Kingdom of Yugoslavia (originally " Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes").
