I went to Ljubljana at the beginning of December with no plans or expectations. The two guys at the Tourism Office were attentive and friendly. They took their time to respond to all of my questions and shared their extensive knowledge in a fun and relaxed way, perhaps encouraged for the lack of tourism in the low-season and unprecedented times we're living. Their warm welcome to the city made me enjoy it even more. With most likely a poor pronunciation, Hvala Lepa and muchas gracias! :)

I would avoid this place - the red head lady behind the counter is rude, arrogant and should not be representing such a beautiful city. It seems like this place is only interested in making money. My experience was based from September 2017 - hopefully this lady has been sacked ... she shouldnt be in Customer service. All the other staff seems scared of her - particularly when she started screaming and clapping her hands at me.

I cannot recommend this place. The guy at the counter was quite unfriendly and had no interest in giving us information. He told us that the tour we wanted to book was fully booked, although this was not the case after we called the operator by ourselves. The blonde lady was also unfriendly to other tourists. This is a shame for a tourist information in a capital. I know that this is a busy time of season, but please get some more friendly people to this place!

We went there a couple days ago and the workers were fantastic and incredibly nice, we ended up getting the Ljubljana card and it was absolutely worth it and using it for the first time with the walking tour the next morning. The walking tour became the highlight of our whole trip throughout Slovenia. Our guide was Tanja and she was great, she knew a lot of languages and she spoke them really fluently. Aside from that the pace was perfect and she was amazing and charming! Every recommendation she gave us for the following days ended up being perfect! So thanks to Tanja and everyone who works inside the Information desk! You made our trip even greater!

cannot get a refund on bus card if not purchase from there, poor local transport experience for a tourist since the card is useless once you end your visit. this can be changed.

We wanted to get information about options for mobility impaired people, as i have broken my ankle the day before. The lady at the Tourist Office was very disinterested in helping us or was too distracted. We received false information, which required an additional and useless walk with crutches and did not show the promised result. We had to derive the answers ourselves with many questions. She told us that the car "green kavalirs" is rather for locals than tourists, which is not true, as the employee from that company called the car immediately for us. I have seldom met so incompetent staff! To clarify: No, you can not rent electronic wheelchairs but only the electronic device, even not around the corner and you need to have your own wheelchair! No, the e-carts (green kavalirs) are not only for residents, but also for tourists and the best way to get around town.

Our tour of Ljubljana's old town and castle with Larisa was very nice and interesting. Larisa told us many interesting facts about Ljubljana and Slovenia and showed us some beautiful spots. Highly recommended!

When I arrived in Ljubljana, I went straight here to ask for information (map + shopping) and it was really useful The people welcomed me well and were very friendly

Tara and her colleagues were truely remarkable. Helpful certainly but thoughtful and appreciative of our age and abilities. They didn’t speak German but maybe others do but English was excellent. Make sure this is your first stop in town particularly if you have made plans on google. Not googles fault but one trip we planned has stopped a few years ago. So we are doing something else.

I am from Cleveland, Ohio in the USA. Cleveland has a lot of families that have Slovenian heritage and a love for polka music. We went to the office on a whim to find some polka and the receptionist led us to a once a year polka event just outside of the city. It was fantastic and a great experience. Deepest thanks to this information center!

The best tourist office I’ve ever been! The girls on the reception were really helpful and so nice to us. They gave us all the information we needed. But the best of our stay in Ljubliana was the amazing tour guided by Tanja, she’s an amazing tour guide, she knows a lot of languages and she loves her job and you can feel that whenever she’s guiding. She was also an amazing person who gave us a lot of tips and information about Slovenia, we are sure that we will meet her again in another part of the world! See you soon Tanja!! And for the kind girls in the office it was a pleasure meeting you!!

Worst service. Officially open until 18.00.. but if you arrive after 18.45 the close the cash register and you can not buy tickets or anything else.. not even with card. The feedback: tough, come back tomorrow. But I want tickets for tonight, not tomorrow! Customer service 0.0. Interesting: people were outside complaining but the two ladies inside didn't seem to care..

I had a very rude service by the lady at the counter. The first just gave me a map with no advice because everything is written on it... the ask how to reach a place and responded to me like if i'm stupid and had to repeat calmly she said. I never saw that in an tourist information. It have been helpless and very unpleasant.

I noticed Slovenia had a tourist information center in every city I visited. This one was as amazing as the others and a must visit if you are a tourist in the city. Firstly, from here, you can buy the Ljubljana Tourist Card, which is great for most of your trip in the city. Secondly, they know everything. They have great English, as I found with most people I spoke to in the city, which is very helpful if your knowledge of Slovenian isn't much more than Dober Dan, Prosim and Hvala. They have a great selection of leaflets of attractions in the city, and other areas in Slovenia also, all of which in numerous languages, and very helpful if you're planning to travel to other cities of your holiday. The staff are very friendly and willing to help and offer suggestions to you for your visit. I find this is a great way to start your trip in the city.

Not that helpful.. we were wondering about best way to travel to Venice, for example train or bus. The advice they gave was to go to bus and train stations and enquiry! They were more interested in hiring out bicycles.

Helpful friendly staff (multilingual) and lots of free maps and guides. Right in the centre of town.

Good place to help plan your visit - lots of info on the main attractions. Free local maps available there. Mix of staff - one was very helpful, one not so helpful (hence 4 stars instead of 5).

Very helpful staff that called different companies to figure out wich wine tasting tour we were able to book. They were patient and friendly and found a city-guide (in German!) in no time.

We had a 14:00 walking tour + boat trip with Viktor, he is amazing at his job. This was probably the best tour we've had. He didn't bombard us with information and he answered our questions. He weaved the history into stories rather than just pure facts and seems genuinely interested in the history of Ljubljana and the world, which really impacts the feeling of the tour. Unfortunately we didn't have any cash on us because he definitely deserved to be tipped. Thanks for the great tour!

Stopped here for a while to get some maps and figure out the spots I need to visit in the area. Was able to get some stamps from here for my postcards which I intend to mail from here. I was instead directed to a yellow mailbox at a street corner nearby by the staff. Thanks so much for the assist.

😐 This was a good place to get info about Ljubjana city and the card we ordered online which was cheaper. But ...two of the staff were not very professional ,in the way they dealt with us.First, the tourists have need of information and the staff should be willing to answer politely and not to shortcu...
