I stayed at Hotel Mrak, in Ljubljana, Nina the hotel manager,immediately got Urska from Slovenian Explorer on the phone for me. From there Urska emailed me the trip and availability, a day before the trip, she sent me an email and said the mobile credit machine was acting up, however Urska provided a secure link (like PayPal) and I was able to pay for the day trip, at the time it was 98 Euro's. Pickup was on time and it turned out that the driver/guide her name was Nina as well, Nina is a safe driver and a wonderful tour guide, pleasant and professional to talk with. Had an amazing 2 day tour experience with Slovenia Explorer Tours. They are very prompt answering to inquiries and cater to your needs. The tour van is comfortable. My family and I took a tour with Reza through Slovenia Explorer Tours. I cannot express my appreciation to Reza and the tours. We felt like a family member was showing us around their favorite places. We got intimate view of Slovenia that left us wishing we had stayed 2-3 more days and had gone to east Slovenia, too. We started our morning white water rafting which was fun and amazing. We visited Lake Bled and went swimming- again, I think we could have spent a full day at Lake Bled alone. Reza introduced us to wonderful desserts and restaurants. We also learned the history of Slovenia from Reza. We cannot express our appreciate enough to Reza and Slovenia Explorer Tours.

Great day tour to the coast of Slovenia with a visit to UNESCO site caverns on the way. . At our request a visit to a winery was added to the return trip. The visit to Lepa Vida winery was one of the best I have ever done, with a delightful food layout and wonderful presentation by the owner. Our guide went the extra mile to provide a nice experience.

I highly recommend Slovenia Explorer Tours for several reasons: the operator Gregor is very easy and excellent to deal with (fast communication, seamless booking via phone, great instruction for meeting points), the tours themselves are very well organised with fantastic tour guides/drivers, clean and comfortable small-group vans, and information given in advance about extra payments so you are prepared with cash or card. I did two day tours with this operator (Slovenia in One Day with Tomasz, and Skocjan + Piran with Martin) and enjoyed both immensely.

Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to go on one of their tours as they were sold out, but I thought their customer service was so excellent in recommending alternative options that they deserved a review. Hope I can go on a tour with them on my next visit to Slovenia!

Today we did the Postjona cave, Predjama Castle, and Lake Bled day tour from 8:30 am to 6 pm. It was one of the best tours we have ever taken. The tour guide, Alenka, was amazing! She was friendly, helpful, kind, so knowledgeable, and fun. We learned so much about Slovenia, the history, the places we visited. She also is a sommelier, so she talked about wines and recommended places to eat. The Cave was magnificent, so huge, and there's a small creature there that grows nowhere else in the world. The Predjama Castle is so cool, it was built on the rock of a cave. Lake Bled and Castle is just a fairytale, so beautiful. If you go, just remember to bring cash ($18 EU) for the boat trip to the island. No engines are allowed on the lake, so someone rows you there and back. We had such a great time and enjoyed absolutely gorgeous views. Alenka made the day go perfectly and it didn't even seem too long. We strongly recommend this tour and ask for Alenka, you won't regret it, she's great!

A very disappointing experience. We booked them for the Postojna Caves and the Predjama Castle and they charged us thrice the amount for just the transportation and we had to buy the tickets ourselves. They told us it was going to be a private tour and it wasn't. We felt like we were scammed. Do not book them until you get an absolute confirmation on what is included and what isn't.

Perfect tour to Triglav National Park and Bohinj area. There were only 3 of us plus the guide, we enjoyed this small group a lot, our guide Alenka was super nice and helpful. The places were amazing, there were absolutely no errors the whole day. Definitely recommend them.

My guide Martin spoke perfect English and was very knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend the whole day tour to Lake Bled and the Cave.

The guidance of our tour to the Lipizaner Horsefarm and the Skocjanske caves was faboulous. We got so much extra's: a wonderful real Slovanian lunch, a visit to a lokal museum and a load of information about Slovania. And dispite the extra's the tour was very relaxed and without any rush!

Wow what a pleasure to be with them!

Slovenia Explorer Tours provided us with a private guide for two days plus a meet and greet and return to the airport.They were excellent and our guide Tomaz was a "real gem" For our tour in Ljubljana he explained the city and its history and in particular the architecture of the city.He also paid special attention to the daily life of the markets.He made the city come to life and explained very well all our questions For our second day we visited Lake Bled the Island and the Castle and the this tour was equally well managed and explained by Tomaz who spent most of the day with us albeit that it was a half day tour. Slovenia explorers and especially Urska did a amazing job planning a 16 day tour of Italy and Slovenia for us. From the very beginning Urska was very prompt in answering all my emails.
