Overrated
hotel
that
shouldn’t
be
a
member
of
Design
Hotel
Group.
Having
studied
hospitality
management,
this
hotel
falls
far
from
anything
remotely
related
to
hospitality
and
welcoming.
It
already
started
by
trying
to
arrange
transport
from
the
dragon
bridge
to
the
hotel,
the
receptionist
told
us
the
driver
would
not
wait
for
us
which
resulted
in
us
having
to
call
a
few
times
to
arrange
the
transport
because
no
driver
was
there.
The
rooms
are
incredibly
small,
lacking
tasteful
design
and
architecture.
Surprisingly
enough
it
is
a
member
of
the
design
hotel
group,
the
lobby
is
anything
but
well
designed,
the
rooms
are
not
well
clean
and
the
service
is
horrendous.
We
asked
on
our
second
day
for
the
room
to
be
cleaned
and
to
have
some
shampoo
(none
was
available
upon
checkin)
after
spending
the
day
touring
the
city,
we
arrived
to
a
unkept
room
and
no
bathing
amenities,
the
justification
was
simply
“the
housekeeping
team
said
they’d
clean
the
room”.
After
touring
the
city,
it
became
clear
that
there
are
much
more
tasteful
and
authentic
boutique
hotels
in
the
area.
I
wouldn’t
recommend
this
hotel,
simply
due
to
the
overpriced,
cubicle-sized
rooms
and
lack
of
guest-friendliness.
The
bathroom
is
practically
next
to
the
bed
with
zero
privacy,
a
simple
cheap
curtain
separates
the
area.
Don’t
even
bother
booking,
save
money
and
go
to
a
local
cute
hotel
that
doesn’t
label
itself
as
a
supposed
“design
hotel”
