The hostel is perfectly located in the same building as the library of Ljubljana, right in the center of the city. It's quite small itself so the kitchen and other common areas is relatively big to it's size. It looks very old, everything is quite worn off (walls, doors, furniture). There is distinctive smell inside, not too bad, just a smell of an old building. It's relatively clean. Shower cabins are quite big. Supposed to be 24h unattended access (code lock+key for the building entrance), but not in my case! (see below) The bad things: - they don't accept cards (cash only) - they charge for a towel additionally(well, at least they have towels..) -they have no locks for the lockers (saying "those were stolen by guests) - no self service washing machine available (they offer laundry service though) The worst thing for me (that's why they don't get 4-star rating from me): I was not able to enter the hostel for the night - the door just didn't open (but I entered the hostel during the day with no problem). So I found myself locked out on the street at midnight. So I was forced to look for a much more expensive options, urgently, on the street, in the middle of the night. I was lucky I found a hotel in the same building just before it closed for the night. The receptionist of the hostel replied to my questions about entrance problem only at 3am, just saying "sorry" and insisting that the door must be ok, that nobody else reported the problem. They did not offer a refund despite I in fact did not spend the night there, I did not touch my bed.

Friendly staff, always willing to help and find things out for you if you ask. The hostel stayers seem to all be friendly too. There is a small common area but everyone tends to sit around the table and be social. A good kitchen but a small fridge! 😂 facilities are good. The bed isn’t too bad either

The hostel is ok. Nothing special apart from the staff & location. We stayed for 3 nights (group of 4 people). The girls bathroom was very clean however, the boys one was dirty and there was no place to hang personal stuff while taking a shower. The beds were comfortable but the room was pretty warm and we weren't brave enough to turn the fan on as it was covered by dust. Also in the room we couldn't open the window because it was broken. Breakfast was free but far too simple: don't expect more than toasts, butter and coffee with milk. Also there was no microwave.

We love spend our stay there and will repeat it again if we come back to this city. We come early before check in. Because we just arrived from Zagreb, we ask if we can put our bag there and take shower. The staff really nice and let us do that, besides they offer us to breakfast at kitchen even we still not check in yet but we refuse because we need to catch a bus go to Bled Lake.

We stayed in a 4-bed dorm at Zeppelin Hostel. The hostel is 5-10 mins walking distance from the central bus/train station. However, the hostel has restricted check-in timings and policy; which can be problematic for some (those travelling at odd hours). The rooms, beds, toilets and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. The room window was broken and we couldn't open it when required. The common area is vibrant with people from all over the world. The hostel serves minimalist breakfast (included in bed/room price) which does the job. It also has a kitchen with enough utensils and kitchenware for cooking. Luggage can be stored before check-in as well as post check-out, which helped us a lot. Overall, it is a quiet, comfortable, value for money hostel with an atmosphere of its own.

Nice centrally located hostel. They say breakfast is included, but I don't know if I would call only bread and jam a breakfast. The rooms are very clean and beds are comfortable. Aside from the breakfast, this is one of the better hostels I've stayed in Europe. I would stay again if and when I plan on returning to Ljubljana

The staff is really friendly and they have good recommendations for food. The place of the hostel is nearby everything and that's a very positive thing. De room is okay-ish. There's lots of dust everywhere (bulks of dust under the bed and in de caps of the lamps). This hostel also for people who want to get some rest. It's not party hardy as other hostels usually are and I even think that the drinks could be cheaper for hostel prices. If you're looking for some rest, this is your place to be. For me it's quite boring.

The staff gave us a warm welcome. The facilities were apt. The showers and the washrooms were clean, so were the linen provided. The breakfast was delicious. Overall, we had a comfortable stay

A small Hostel, doesn't feel like a chain. The atmosphere was great for individual travellers and groups alike. Just a few minutes from the center of the city, but more importantly convenient to the bus and train station for day trips. The beds are not super comfortable, and the pillows are meager, but the rooms are warm and not overly crowded.

Cute little hostel, very close to the centre. Friendly and helpful staff create a home atmosphere. Clean shared bathrooms woth showers and themed rooms. We stayed at the Swedish-themed double room and it was clean, warm and cosy. There is a small kitchen and a common space where you can hang out or cook something if you don't want to eat out.

Good hostel but they threw away my full shampoos for no reason.
