ONE TOILET. ONE SHOWER. Nice place but 1 fricken toilet? For 18+ beds? Come on. The owner says I should go to a Hilton. Really? He acts as if there aren't hostels with better TOILET to BED ratios.

What a shame! I am staying up all night with nowhere to go and nowhere to sleep because the hostel is full of bed bugs. The intention of the trip was to relax and see a new place. Now, I am going back with fear and anxiety that I am carrying back bed bugs with me. Worst experience ever!

Had seen precious comments about bed bugs - no issues for bed bugs for me or anyone else in the hostel for the 3 nights I was there. They let me inspect the bed before checking in and there were no sign of them. Small hostel, good vibe, good location, cleanly.

Five stars by me! Clean and spacious hostel. All essentials provided Especially the owner was very helpful. I spend just one night because it was fully booked, but I could easily spend my whole week at fluxus! Definitely recommended! Cheers

The location and the apartment are very good. The only problem I had was the bedbugs. I woke up in the middle of the night with at least 5 walking on the bed. I couldn’t sleep there and had to ask the following morning for a refund. The lady was super nice and explained to me she just works there and the owner could come to talk to me. I decided to leave but the same day later when I came back to pick my luggage, they put a new guest to sleep in the same bed. I don’t think that’s professional when you are aware of such a bad situation. The right thing to do when you have bedbugs on a hostel: cancel and replace all the guests, call for a specific company to clean with specific products the whole area. Not only wash the bedsheet and replace a new person.

The rooms are lovely and big! 8 beds in a room doesn’t feel cramped at all and there is enough space to move around. Staff are extremely helpful and nice. Washing available and well stocked kitchen with needed equipment. Also a nice shower! - which is always a plus. Overall really good and friendly place to stay. Great location too.

Great location, great staff. Clean room, clean bathroom/shower. Excellent kitchen facilities. Bed was clean, power socket by each bed. Windows available for fresh air. a 6 and a 8 bed dorm. Reasonably priced. Good wifi. Washing and drying available for a fee around 5 euro? only thing is 1 toilet and 1 shower between the two rooms - 14 people. So if its full (in December it was maybe 1/2 -3/4 full, then you're in for some fun. But even at 1/2 full never found myself fighting for toilet or shower.

Absolutely to AVOID! The place is full of bed bugs and apparently for a long time already. I couldn't sleep all night and got biten terribly. Also overpriced! One toilet and one shower for 14+ beds.

Fantastic value! My wife and I stayed here on our second night in Ljubljana and preferred it much more than our original booking. We booked the only private which was very clean, spacious and well decorated. A/C blew cold and wifi was very fast. Staff were extremely friendly and offered 10/10 customer service. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

They where amazingly nice to set me up with a place to sleep on a spare sofa because I spontaneously wanted to stay with a friend and the hostel was fully booked and DID NOT EVEN ASK ME TO PAY FOR IT!. That should say plenty about the kind people who run this place. The place itself is small, cosy and functional - pay them a visit!

I did my last minute booking on the day of the arrival and the staff was very helpful and kind in accommodating my late check-in. Hostel is located in an old town house in the very center of the capital city which I loved. Hostel is clean and very warm and welcoming. I stayed only one night but I will definitely come back. Thank you!

My friend and I had a pleasant stay at this hostel. It’s a small hostel but the rooms are incredibly spacious. The bathroom and toilet were always kept clean and the staff are lovely. Also very close to the centre.

This hostel is great if you only have a few hours in Ljubljana and you want something really central. The rooms/showers were clean enough, but there's not a lot of privacy and not enough bathrooms/showers, so I wouldn't recommend this place for more than 2 nights. The staff were really helpful and friendly, the WiFi worked great, and there was a well equipped kitchen. I would stay again if I only had one night in Ljubljana and wanted to see the city centre in a short amount of time

Great place, I recommend it if you want to feel at home! The shared flat atmosphere is great, and the hosts are very responsive and accommodating. They even offered to let me sleep on the couch for free one extra night. The kitchen is great and the hostel is right in the center of town. Great memories, thank's !

Nice small hostel, however enough space for the people and a just calm atmosphere. Located on the second floor and the building’s close to the heart of Ljubljana. Convenient location. There is lots of space in the backyard to lock up your bicycle. The hostel is clean but as of now doesn’t have shutters on the windows, which i believe makes a bad sleep, as too much light comes in which i really don’t like.

I usually never complaint but this hostel gave me bad experience. I don’t know where to start... but this reminds me of an army bedhouse where all people squeezed into tight place and we share 1 toilet for 17+ people. The reception only works 3 hours a day and at night some guys coming in taking weed and sleeping on the sofa. I don’t know if they are guests or just some random people sneaking in. Then in order to enter the bedroom, we need to pass through another bedroom and disturbing another guests sleeping. And the worst for me: the room is not insulated, you can hear the parties and people shouting outside. And second worst: I stayed in the second room and the bunkbed is squeaky made from thin steel and the bed move so you need to be conscious while you sleep so you won’t wake the other people. I think the first room bed is better. Overall: I did not sleep during the whole night. If you are a light sleeper, dont sleep here. For fluxus: you can improve by adding another door to the second bedroom; adding two toulets; and replace your bunkbed with higher quality stainless steel bunkbed frames.

The hostel is really close to the city center/old town (2-3min walk) The receptionist was friendly. The rooms, bathroom and kitchen were very clean. Although it's close to city center, it was very quiet. I recommend this hostel

Fantastic place to stay for 3 nights whilst in ljubljana, great facilities and location (max 15 min walk to most things). We stayed in the private room which was very spacious and clean. Would recommend!!

Super clean hostel, top location but first and foremost, the best thing there is the super friendly cozy atmosphere. I was traveling solo and I had no problem meeting new people, which is not always as easy in every hostel. Besides that I also want to highlight, that I forget a beloved, high value ring in a hurry and they send it to me without a hustle.

Funny uncomplicated hostel. All clean and cared for, shower nice and well cleaned. Friendly, funny and informal staff, one 8 bed and one 6 bed room. They joined by only one door and the shower is in the 6 bed room. So the 8 bed room guests cross through the other room when they want to shower and vice versa when the 6 bed room guests want to leave their room. Only one shower and one toilet so if fully booked that might get crowded in the morning. When we were there they were at about half capacity and it was no problem at all. Quite a long flight of stairs up to the hostel and no elevator so unsuitable for wheelchair drivers. Also when arriving with a big suigcase prepare to carry all your luggage upstairs. Didnt bother us a bit.

Great hostel: - location: close to the bus and train stations, and in the centre of the city. The area is safe and very active at all hours. - facility: I was in Slovenia in December and the hostel was warm (really warm, slept without the covers). It's clean and the rooms are spacious! They also provide towels which is amazing. - staff: really nice and easy going.

Fluxus is homey, clean, and perfectly located. Damian at reception goes out of his way to make his guests comfortable (he even made me an espresso one morning). Not a party hostel, but since it is so small you can socialize easily. Good kitchen utilities. Washing machine/dryer for €5 is convenient. :)

Stayed here for two nights, very clean and friendly staff. I was stuck without a booking one of the nights as they were booked up but they were super nice and made up a couch for me to save me from homelessness. Great location and responded to emails pretty quickly. Would recommend staying.

The place is just 2 rooms with 8 and 6 beds. One toilet for everybody. Not fully kitchen...not oven! The private room is next to the kitchen so will be noisy. Not too bad for the price, even if it is not a real hostel. The 6 bed is infected with bed bugs, you cant sleep because the continuously bites. Besides there is a freaky "volunteer" Who used to put the AC during cold nights, and even when he keeps coughing all night. I checked its reviews in different sites and it has report of bedbugs at least in the Last 6 month. The owner lied saying every time that it has been disinfected, but he never closed for one week the floor so disinfection never applied. It is inmoral keep selling beds in a place with a plague, and the state should closed the place until the owner take real actions. I left the place at 5am to avoid contaminate my luggage.

Nice old big appartement, the rooms are big, with high ceiling, and the staff is very nice, even if only a person is present from 10-13. But you can open with codes sent by emails and they will write which is your bed on the black board. And they will answer quickly on the phone if you are a bit lost ( like me) The staff was super nice, thank you for your help! ( the only downside is that there is only one shower for around 14 people so you have to be patient…)

Perfect location (4 min walk to the river, parks, pubs & restaurants nearby), helpful hosts. The room is mid-standard but goes with very cheap price (in comparison to other Lublana offers in city centre). Shared toilet and kitchen (with enough room to cook and eat for 5-7 people). Dogs allowed. If you go on budget with friends or a couple with dog like us - you need no more. For a family with kids, perhaps look elsewhere. No parking attached - you have to look for yourself in the neighborhood (1.4 EUR / hour, dedicated app EasyPark not to bother with paper tickets) - late May is still before high season so we found a free space in 3 mins.

We had a fantastic stay in Fluxus Hostel. Ideal location right in the heart of Ljubljana. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating. Looking forward to staying again soon.

Amazing owners, who were so helpful throughout and after my stay. I cant thank them enough for going above and beyond. Cosy friendly hostel, which is a lot more spacious than other comparable ones.

Owners took ages to answer door. The pin given didn’t work, as they realised they’d given us the wrong code. Neither did they answer calls. When arrived they couldn’t find our booking for a while. Was a stressful start to our trip. The location is good, but the beds weren’t comfy. I was above my friend though my bed sounded as though us was lose and going to break, so had to share with my friend. 14+ beds to share 1 tiny bathroom which you have to go through another room of multiple beds to get to. Kitchen was well equipped though. Small balcony area. Staff were nice when things got sorted

The hostel has a good location with nice equipped kitchen (sweets, eggs, milk, etc). The owner is helpful and very kind. Unfortunately I could not sleep at all as I've bitten by bed bugs and my faced looked like having an argue with Klitschko brothers. Both a once. Be aware.

Flexus Hostel was the perfect stay for young couple like us. Very well located in the center of Ljubljana, quiet, and totally clean. The employee is very nice. We recommend !

Nice little (operative word!) hostel suuuper close to the city centre. The staff are very responsive to emails but reception hours are only 10am to 1 or 2 pm, so mostly there are no staff at the hostel. It all works well, people respect the quiet hours if you need to sleep. The only slightly inconvenient aspects are there is one toilet for everyone, and the private room is accessed directly off the kitchen. So I had someone try to get into my room at midnight one night...

Very nice, small hostel close to the centre of town! I stayed here for 2 nights and was the ideal place to crash when in Ljubljana. It’s 5 minutes from the centre of town and 10-15 minutes from the bus/train station too so it makes getting into or out if the city very easy. The hosts are very communicative and the check in instructions were easy to follow as they weren’t there when I arrived. Definitely recommend it if you’re coming to the city for a few days!
