Disgusting. dirty. Staff unhelpful. Mosquitos. Mould. Dangerous electrical outlets. Cockroaches. no refunds so you can't leave early without losing money. I would recommend you sleep in a garbage bin with used needles as it's probably cleaner.

The Hostel looks hideous from outside, it’s a grey ugly building and does not look welcoming at all. The Check in took very long, about an hour, because our room was not cleaned yet, even though it should have been by that time. The room itself is not nice. It is very hot, especially in the third floor, and there is no air conditioning provided. Maybe that is the reason our room smells like smoke and fire. We have booked for three nights but we will leave after the first night, not nice! Also it does not feel like a hostel, because it is huge and you don’t get in contact with the people here. All in All, do not recommend!!!!

The staff is very friendly. The rooms are a bit outdated. We had red ants crawling everywhere. Stains and other people's hair in the bedsheets. The WiFi is pretty good. The tap water is drinkable. No air-conditioning. The hostel is situated in an old school building. The style is very East European. So grey and concrete. The city Ljubljana is a nice city to explore for a day or 2. For a 2 person room you pay too much for what you get. There's also students living here.

We booked a room for 3 the same day, pretty cheap for the service. Nice people, great room, big enough for 3 people, with towels, showers and kitchens for each floors. Breakfast is included and really nice (eggs, sausages, veggies, sweet things). Was really calm for a 15th of August. I recommend for anyone wanting a simple room in this City. Plus its near the City center.

It is a boarding school that get transformed into a hostel in summer time. Dormitories are just wide enough, but 4-people cohabitation may become difficult. Bathrooms are clean, however there are a few toilets and showers in the rush hours. Breakfast is very well organized, consisting of Mediterranean and continental food, with many choises each.

Probably for a high school student it’s okay, but for college student it’s better to have some rooms with private bathroom. No sound proof at all so you can hear everything in the corridor. Breakfast is okay but when you have 1 or two weeks the same thing, you will quickly get tired of it... European style breakfast with one main dish only.

Be sure to double check how much they charge you when you check in. We paid for 4 nights and this was confirmed at check in. We did not receive a receipt, but assumed everything was okay. 4 days later on the day we planned to checkout we asked to extend our stay. They told us we only paid for two nights and that we now had to pay for the other two that we had already stayed for. We had spoken to reception a few times prior to this about extending and no one mentioned this to us and told us everything was okay. At this point they told us not only do we have to pay for the two other day, but that since it was after 10am thst we were informed of this we had to now pay for that day as well. When i told them i wouldn’t pay for it they threatened to call the police on me. I saw the police show up a few days prior to this with another hostel guest so i believe this is a common scam at this location. If i had known i had only paid for 2 days i would have left after 2 days. They tricked us into thinking everything was okay and then forced us to pay for another day because, as i said, they waited until after 10am to tell us. This place literally robbed me and threatened me with the police. I spoke to a manager and he called me a liar and told me everything is my fault. I told him i didn’t receive a receipt and he called me a liar. I told him to check the cameras so he could see that I didn’t receive one and just said “no.” avoid at all costs, otherwise ensure you are being charged correctly at check in or you’ll end up getting robbed like i did.

Great hostel with free nice breakfast!! Many bathrooms on all floors, so it felt like private ones. Loved our stay here.

A 20min walk from city center and train station. The price is okay, really nice staffand they offer free breakfast and some nice tips what to do. However, limited kitchen equipment so be prepared to bring your own plate. Only a few pots that work on the induction hob, so you have to go look for them. Other than that, nice place

Fantastic hostel, we had such a wonderful stay the only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is the breakfast was terrible. Coffee was always empty and when filled it tasted terrible. We ended up just eating out for breakfast. On the other hand I would highly recommend this place. The staff were incredibly friendly and the price of the rooms was great. Thank you

Beautiful hostel in a refurbished building, most likely from a school. Mattresses are comfy, everything is spotless, and well taken care of. The staff is friendly, and the hostel is actually inside an art gallery! The only downsides are the price, which despite being one of the lowest of the city is still pretty high for an hostel. The other one was that the breakfast was 5€ instead of 4€ as advertised.

We had a double room with shared bathroom. The double room is spacious and have an air conditioner which is great! Some storage and a desk. The breakfast is really huge, a lot of stuff, but very cheap and bad quality products...Still ok though. We arrived at 2am, so the reception was composed of a security guard that is most likely among the unfriendest person on earth... He wanted us to pay more than my confirmation booking show...He literally shoot at us and told us to get out...finally we were able to check with his "boss" and he confirmed our confirmation price...Then we were able to get the room after some walks and real bad talk more than 30mn later...Just don't arrive late... Anyway I give 3 stars because the room was clean and convenient and there were more than enough toilets and showers for everybody.

The hostel was really nice with super friendly staff and a good breakfast! I would definetely go there again! The beds were comfortable and the showers nice and clean. Five to ten minute walk to the city center (with a Longboard it takes you less than three ;) )

Very good breakfast but the beds are too small for people taller than 190 cm. The Hostel is in a former socialist style dorm.

Nice staff. The rooms are big and nice enough. The bathrooms are indeed a bit outdated but they’re clean so it’s no problem.

Nice hostel with friendly service and atmosphere. 10min walk to the city centre was a major bonus, as we were travelling with 2 small children. Free parking place. The major disadvantages were shared bathrooms, were it was a bit messy and no toilet paper. And for light sleepers- it is a bit loud next to the busy street. We stayed there only 2 nights, but for long stays I would advise to use ear plugs. Overall positive.

Very comfortable hostel close to the old town. The area is quiet and feels safe. Brilliant breakfast! Washrooms are ok but a bit dated. Great value for money.
