We were waiting for 40 minutes for couple of drinks, while waiters were chatting and having fun. They don’t like foreigners and I don’t recommend this bar. One of worst experiences in Ljubljana.

Nice place for a drink under the shadow of trees

Designed by Boris Podrecca, a postmodern architect, Platana has become a popular place for local artists, architects and designers. It's a shot away Slovenian Philharmonic and Ljubljana University building. The Service is fast and staff friendly. Coffee is great, its a perfect place to have a fast espresso. In the back of the bar there are a few tables, but mainly guests use bar stools next to the wall. In the summer time, there are tables in front of the entrance and in the park, popular with tourists and families.

Such a great place to sit and watch the world go by and more likely to have a conversation with the regulars local customers that seem to love the place as much as the tourists! Good quality coffee reasonably priced and really close to a spot of greenery too Ideal for an hour to take in the fresh air with plenty of outside seating

Its good for kids because they can play in Zvezda park. Staff is nice

Lovely bar right in the centre of Ljubljana. Great Cappuccino. The best I had. Chocolate croissant and 2 coffees for 5€. The staff is professional and kind, much better than any others in the city.

Stopped here for some quick drinks during the city visit. The iced coffee was quite good, while the mango iced tea was so so. Also tried the Bled cheesecake, and it was as good as any. The location next to the Zvezda park is quite nice to sit, relax, and people watch.

Walked in to get something to go, stood in front of the counter for 5 minutes, got absolutely ignored. Food was really good though.

Delicious coffee ☕️ 😋 open early morning/ good snacks and priceless
