Cool place for Mexican food. Delicious as well. Their service is good. It is located opposite 2 other restaurant and pub so it can be quite noisy at times if you are expecting quite dining experience. Otherwise everything is great.

Scroll down for my tortilla chips rant. Taco Bell or Chipotle are more authentic than this place. As someone who grew up very close to Mexico, and with lots of authentic cuisine, I was skeptical when my wife suggested it (we no longer live in a place with an ample variety of Mexican cuisine) But the reviews seem to have defended it. I have to get this main complaint out of the way. When you order chips and salsa, or chips and guacamole DORITOS ARE NOT PROPER TORTILLA CHIPS. The insult to injury is that they provide flour tortillas for some of their meals, but they are either too lazy to fry the pieces of tortilla for chips or don’t care about Mexican cuisine to know the difference. This is an affront to Mexican cuisine. The beans tasted canned, the enchiladas resembled burritos more than they did enchiladas. And the service was nothing to write home about. I would avoid.

Cute place. Good music. Service was good. I was disappointed in the food. It was okay. Really didn't seem Mexican at all to me. Served French fries with my chimichanga, which also was unlike any chimichanga I have ever had. The outside was very pasty and tasteless. I'm not sure what the white sauce they served was but it was tasteless and they served cheese wiz in a bowl with it. I sadly couldn't try a margarita. The food won't hurt you. The chicken inside tasted okay, but in my humble opinion, don't get a hankering for good Mexican.

Delicious food, the best Mexican food we have ever eaten!! Food was fresh and flavourful, menu had lots of options. Good value, big portions. Staff are friendly and make lots of jokes :) Great atmosphere, would come back if we are ever in Ljubljana again!

A neat place, everything in Mexican style, many tables, even on the 1st floor, which is very nicely lit. The food is excellent, the tortillas are very good, the portions are large, even for a very hungry man to eat well. A large selection of dishes, which are very nicely arranged in the menu, also marked with possible allergens. Friendly staff, fast service. The dishes are not expensive, depending on what you order, but since the portions are satisfactory and you eat well, of course it is not difficult to give a little more. The main dishes there are around 8-14 euros. As a family of three, we ate 3 main dishes, which had a choice of not only one side dish, but three (choice of fries, rice, vegetables, sauces, onion bread...), onion rings, a drink (beer, cocktail, juice) and we paid 43 which is not much for large portions. I highly recommend it.

Fenomenal restaurant! From the interior design to the food to the very good waiters. The atmosphere was fun and cosy. The food and drinks(I had a great margarita) were amazing but most of all I enjoyed how good the staff was. I was by myself and the waiters really made me feel welcome and were super nice. The location is amazing, just by the main square but the prices were more than honest. I loved this place and highly recommend it to tourists and locals (there were mainly locals as far as I could tell)

Visited this restaurant during our weekend in Ljubljana. Very helpful staff, especially assistant Damir. Food was excellent and atmosphere really nice too. Although place was busy, Damir made sure to provide excellent service with a smile. Highly recommended 👏 👏

Be prepared for an excellent flavor and big portions. One dish could easily be for 2 people. The presentation of the food is excellent. Drinks also look cute. Top service, they even speak Spanish and recomend you the best options.

Nicely located in the centre of Ljubljana, at a shadow rich area just off the main shopping streets. Friendly and enthusiastic service. A huge list of options for any dishes related to Latin America. Good value for money. Vegetarians few vegan options, too. We were with eight and they still found a nice place for us. The taste is not very specific Mexican, but good quality for the veggies and salads. Fresh and quite a lot, so do not go here of you're not too hungry. Although, they have tapas and you may wish to just have a beer and a bite. The music was s bit loud, with a kind of cellar acoustic creating more noise. Will be hard for people with hearing issues, otherwise fine.

The best Mexican food I ever tried! Tacos Verde is so good for vegetarian. Totally recommended!! Cheap, tasty and big portion.

Very nice place. The restaurant is in a quiet side Street with a nice balcony. The prices are very good! And also there are big portions with delicious food! I can recommend it.

Big indoor and outdoor seating space. Easy to find. Tasty food with different options to choose. Not very expensive compared with other themed restaurants in the city. Professional barista and polite staff.

Affordable prices (10-18 EUR for main dish) , delicious food (if you like mexican), super nice waitresses and cozy interior / spacious garden space. The place is not directly next to the river, slightly hidden but worth to look for it!

I came here so often when I lived here 3years ago its still good and generous portion BUT it would be much better if the food served more warmer like I don’t feel Like food were warmed for enough time. I suggest you cook them for more longer time. Otherwise everything was same and good. In English version of menu, there is no Nacho cheese sauce as side dish 🥲

Hands down one of the best Mexican places in Europe. So cheap. Definitely stop here for a meal. Very affordable and tons of food. Lovely customer service. Most of mains come with 3 sides so if you are a person that eats a lot or wants value for money then I highly suggest.

Okay service, meals are good size but the quality of food is low! We’ve ordered paella and quesadilla, both way too salty and paella had barely any rice in it. It’s a shame but we had to give back half of the food…

As a french people, medium range Mexican food. not a lot of things are homemade, ask to cancel one ingredient on tortilla that wasn't possible !! brownie dry. Cheap tapas but the quantity it's ridiculous. Dish are good and good quantity.
