Very beautiful valley just across the border from Austria. To best experience the valley, park your car at the hotel near the entry gate of the valley (€7 admission fee for cars) and then walk the trail to the waterfall. Along the way are multiple opportunities for a quick bite (local specialties) and drinks. The trail ends at the waterfall which is beautiful but also the most touristic area of the valley. This is also the starting point of various hikes. Trail itself is flat and easy took us 2,5 hours roundtrip.

A beautiful and serene area which you can do by foot or bike. You may also drive in for a fee of 7 euros as of 18-06-2023. There's a beautiful waterfall and several ways to enjoy the locale. You can purchase locally farmed products and hike in the pretty surroundings. It was worth our visit and the waterfall was a simple and quick hike from the parking (after driving the full 7.3km road in the valley).

One of the most beautiful places in Slovenia, however not that popular among foreigners like Lake Bled, Bohinj etc. In my opinion it looks like Swiss alps, only Milka cow is missing :) In end of December is almost empty, however quite windy and cold, but peaceful and beautiful. Would love to visit it in Summer as well.

One of the most beautiful places that you must visit in Slovenia, there is a restaurant inside and you can rent a bicycle and take a tour. Highly recommended

Note:there is an entrance fee (per car) they collect before entering the valley, but it is very much worth it. The sites are amazing even in a bad weather, perfect for cycling, hiking, strolling or just taking pictures.

Great hiking route. The second highest waterfall and Rinka River located through this valley. Also a cafe serving beer, tea and coffee is located near waterfall with amazing view.

Actually it is very cool place. The waterfall is not very big but photos from that place are very beautiful with the small wooden house nearby. The views was really perfect. The hiking to the waterfall is not dangerous and not complex but probably quite long. But i recommend you to visit this place It was really nice hiking.

Stunning valley. You do have to pay a small entry fee, but the food, the view and the drive is 100% worth it

Amazing place beneath the alps. Plenty traila for biking, hiking and mountaineering or just relaxing and sightseeing.

The most peaceful and beautiful place in Slovenia for me. Don't miss a hiking trail to the waterfall. Enjoy a coffee with berry or apple strudel with a spectacular view in the local cafe.

Amazing valley with a breathtaken landscape. There is a nice path that starts at the beginning and leads to the Rinks waterfall. It is 7km long (one way), however it is possible to park at each of the parkings along the way and walk only a part of it. In each parking there is a nice resturant.

A beautiful place to visit. We were there at the end of september and it was not crowded at all. Weather was nice to our luck. It's fun to rent a bike and stroll around.

Very nice place to visit in winter time. A lot of snow. Road is open to Logarski kot. Then you have to walk to the Waterfall Rinka. Both mountain huts are open - Orlovo gnezdo and IPPO at parking.

Stunning valley. Came in March to hike but unfortunately most roads were closed because of snow/ice so just had to drive back out of the valley. Was free to drive through due to low season I guess.

There is an entrance fee of €7 per car. This area is very beautiful and perfect if you love hiking, as there is alot of hiking trails. Upon entry you get handed a brochure with information about the area. At the very end of the valley you will find the Rinka waterfall, which is a 15 minute walk from the nearest parkinglot. Definitely worth a visit.

This place is so stunning and worth visiting. Both waterfalls are gorgeous! It is starting to get chilly now (Mid November) so bring a nice warm jacket!!! :-)

Very nice valley for relax. You can visit all biggest attractions in a day or two, so no need to spend more time in a valley unless you just want to relax. You can also go on a trip arround local farms with a car.

We visit Logar Valley spontaneously a few days a ago. Usually there is supposed to be an entrance fee, but there was nobody there. At the end of the street you can visit a nice waterfall.

Amazing place 😃I would say one of the must visit places in Slovenia. It is possible to rent a bicycle, also go to the valley by car(price 7 euro) or on foot.

Beautiful nature, eye stunning green everywhere around you. There aren't strong enough words to describe this place. You can walk, rent a bike or an e-bike. There are a few restaurants and a bar to have a coffee or a beer. Get there early so you have enough time to enjoy the Logar Valley.

Really nice valley, offers a plethora of walking and hiking, plus skiing in winter months (cross country). There are also many hotels and smaller b&bs. Also on offer are many "dom's" offering food and drinks. It's currently free to enter, usually you must pay to enter the valley with a car.

Absolute quiet wonder of Slovenia. I expected more tourists, but it was very pleasant not to be in a crowd, kinda hard to believe, because this is one of the most amazing and beautiful parts of this little country. A must visit place if you are in sLOVEnia.

This valley/park is beautiful. We have been there quite recently and there were no crowds at all. It was a close to nature experience as it gets. At the gate of the valley you have to pay a 7 Euros toll (cash only). Since our credit cards did not work with the local ATMs and we were out of money they were willing to let us in for free. It was such a grand gesture. After all we were able to get some coins out of our pockets and whatnot but we felt the hospitality and empathy. After all it was a wonderful experience. This place is worth to visit. The landscape changes quickly and one moment you are crossing a meadow but just minutes later find yourself in the heart of the forest. There are different paths based on your experience/time and stamina you can choose which mountain top you want to conquer.
