There is an exceptional view over the lake Bled from this castle. I highly recommend to go there if you visit the lake Bled. There is a road which you can go by car to the castle. But the parking lots are limited. We visited the castle in April and we were lucky to find a parking lot. I think during the summer, it will be very difficult to find places to park the cars. There is high slip to reach to the castle. The castle has an entrance fee. The entrance fee for adults is 12 Euros and for seniors and students are cheaper (I think 9 Euros). There is a honey 🍯 shop. I strongly recommend you to visit the shop. You can find honey with different tastes and flavors.

Castle of Bled is one of the most beautiful place in the world. You can park near the castle with car, but rarely you can find parking place, because there are usually a lot of people. The other way to come by walk and park near the lake, it’s not so easy too, but fortunately we found a parking place. The castle is on the top of the hill. You can buy the ticket near the entrance. You can drink coffee or eat something inside the castle, if you want and of course you can buy some gifts in the shop. The view is amazing nice from the castle wall and from bastion. Definitely worth to visit :)

Came here at the end of the peak season. No waiting, very little people in the castle in the afternoon past 15:00. Wonderful views of the lake from the top. Plenty of parking along the way to the castle. Dog friendly, however they can't enter the inside of the castle but can stay around the restaurant.

What a beautiful view of Lake Bled from here! There's a museum, restaurant and a couple of souvenir shops here. The Slovenian flag is huge. Be prepared to spend at least half a day here! Steep slope to the entrance, during rainy days, it might get a bit tough to climb up, good grippy shoes recommended

Always wanted to go here. Best moment of my life. The stairs to the top had me breathing like a pregnant cow but it was worth it. There are however, other options to get to the top so you can explore that. You need tickets (which are affordable) to get in and there have audio guide qr codes throughout the castle to help you listen on your phone. An awesome way to wrap my year!

Well worth the a visit. Most focus on the church accessible only by water way (boat, swim, paddle board). However the views from the cliff faced castle are unreal. There's a small museum and a nice Cafe in the castle along with some souvenir and specialty shops.

We had a wonderful time here! The place is not incredibly large, but you cn spend a lot of time. The view is great, you can serve food or just an espresso with some cake. Definitely worth visiting so give yourself some hours to really take in what the castle has to offer.

Such a magical location with an absolute stunning view from all sides! Blue waters, green forest, small pretty island, castle on top of the cliff, beautiful church emerging from the green.. you cannot get more than this! Pictures cannot properly show how beautiful the lake is, if you are thinking of traveling there, just go for it and enjoy the view!

We visited here during November, it has breathtaking fall view. It’s a little bit of hike on to the hill. You will get an amazing view once you’re on the top of the hill. The view of the island, lake and the mountains is wonderful. There is a cafe if you need a drink or something to eat as well. Parking is available and a little walk uphill to the entrance.

We chose to drive up in a car hire and park just below the castle. There were a few spaces and reasonable pay and display prices. There is a nice small coffee bar right on the edge of the castle in the courtyard with the amazing views. Quite expensive for a lemonade but you’re paying for the view which we felt was worth it. Worth asking for student discount even if you don’t have a student pass but are at school and over 14.

One of the most magical places I've visited in a this region. You must have dinner at Sova Restaurant across from the lake and experience the views as you drink good wine and enjoy exceptional food.

The view is amazing up there! Even if you are not willing to walk up till there I really recommend taking the shuttle and going there. The place is very nice and the tickets are only 12 euros per person. And you have access to entire castle by paying this total.

A nice Castle to visit in Bled. Easily reach by stairs from the town. It also has a parking in front. The castle offers outstanding views on the lake and can be visited. It is small yet really interesting. Cost 10e to enter.

Must do when visiting Bled! The best part about the trip was the souvenir shop where you could learn the art of book-printing. This guy really takes you in with the whole experience. It was so nice for me and the wife.

The Castle is a bit of a hike up the hill, but once you get up there you will get some amazing views of the lake. You get the best views of the entire lake, the island and the surrounding mountains providing all the instagram shots. There is a cafe if you need a drink or something to eat as well.

We came here in the fall and had a wonderful time, the exhibits in the castle were very informative about the culture and area. We also had so much fun in the wine cellar learning and tasting of course, bought a couple bottles. The view of the lake is absolutely stunning. Parking was easy and a little walk uphill to the entrance.

It is a lovely place, a wet and misty day but still beautiful. There's some lovely shops and restaurants. I went to the castle and it's interesting. There's wine tasting, a few lovely little shops. Different rooms showing the history

Awesome place! I like how it's looks now, super accurate and cleaned, and people taking care of the castle. It's respectful! Here is the perfect view on a lake, mountains, and villages around. Nature makes it unbelievable! Also here is a small cafe on a territory with good coffee and an amazing view. And a big restaurant inside the castle. Good and clean toilets and whole territory.

One of the most beautiful places in Slovenia. If you're visiting Lake Bled, this site offers the best views of the lake. Road & parking access available as well as a bit of a hiking trail by the church and from the lake as well. Nice cafe, museum, and gift shops at the castle to enjoy as well.

Beautiful scenery, museum is quite small, and not very interesting, especially, not for children. Staff is helpful and nice. Bled cream cake is fantastic and served with paper plate and wooden spoon, so it is a plus.

The castle Is located on a high rock over the lake.Tickets are pretty exoensive, but the location is awesome! Astonishing landscape on the lake and on Bled island.

Great view of Lake Bled. We also visited the restaurant and it was great. Castle itself is a good representation of the local history.

We arrived at the Castle 10 minutes before it officially opened at 8am. The views from the castle while the winter sun was rising was beautiful! Moreover, we had the whole castle completely to ourselves. If you have arrived at the castle parking and are debating whether to buy the tickets and get in, I'd definitely recommend doing so. The views from inside are way better than that from the parking lot.

We went up to Bled Castle on Christmas day to see a medieval show which was performed outside. The views over the lake are amazing but be warned, there are 441 steps to climb to get up to the castle so not good for anyone with mobility problems, thankfully we got a taxi up to it but definitely worth a visit.

Beautiful castle on top of the mountain overlooking Lake Bled. We hiked up. It was fun, but not for the elderly or those with trouble hiking uphill. It wasn't treacherous; they have stairs much of the way, but it is a workout!

Beautiful old castle with lots of history to see and appreciate. Not for the unstable or physically unable as you have too walk up some very steep inclines ,cobble pathways and steps.Quite pricey in the gift shops and cafes so bring lots of euros if you intend to buy souvenirs or food and beverages.

The visit to the castel is really worth it. I paid the student fee which was 8.5€ and just the view from the terraces is worth it. The castle itself is very pretty, especially the chapel, and the museum is small but nice. I really liked the walls too and the room where the old printer is. The guy there was very friendly and explained everything. There's also a cafe and a restaurant but I did not go there.

The Bled Castle is easy to get to for the view of the lake. Entrance is €13, which is not cheap. The museum and exhibition were not so great, only the view is the greatest sell of this place. Don't park right at the top which can be costly, rather at the bottom of the hill at the big corner, then you csn walk up.

Bled castle is worth any visit! Not only it’s very informative, and nice to visit, but also has a very good view on the landscape. Parking places are very close and easy to reach from Bled and surroundings. Additionally you have a nice coffee bar and souvenir shops close to the castle. The entry price is moderate and should be worth for a 2 hours visit!

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL castle. One of the most beautiful, scenic views I've seen in all the world! The photos don't do it justice. Be sure to stop by the winery or restaurant as well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Being a tourist from India, this castle was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G and has views that are breathtaking! ❤️😍 The church at the top was so calm and peaceful and lots of sightseeing to do around and brilliant place to do photography! Oh, I wish someone stood there and played Ed Sheeran's " Castle on the hill ". It has nice collectibles for tourists and also the paper maker or creator with ink stuff was really interesting. Got lot of chocolate from the place and clicked some breath taking photos of the view.
