Really nice arboretum. You can see lot of tulips in a beautiful place with a mountain view in the background. Of course here are some little problem. All text in the flowers or in the other plants you can see only in slovenian language and in my opinion you can find not enough place to eat or drink something within the park.

The Festive Arboretum at Volčji Potok is a must-see for anyone visiting Slovenia during the winter months. The park is transformed into a winter wonderland with a lighted path, light displays, and a winter wonderland for children. The stroll is open from November 19th to January 8th. I took my family to the Festive Arboretum today and we had a wonderful time. The path was easy to walk and the light displays were beautiful. The children loved the winter wonderland, which had a snow slide, a snowman, and a reindeer. I would highly recommend the Festive Arboretum to anyone looking for a fun and festive activity to do with family or friends.

A lovely park, which lends itself perfectly for a leisurely stroll. The maintenance is top-notch; all the lawns are mown and the flowers are in bloom. Definitely go there if you have 2 or 3 hours to spend on a relaxing activity.

Beautiful park, perfect for walking, jogging, family activities and kids play. In the park one can find real size whales, dinasours, interesting flowers and plants, big fish, ducks, tourtles, butterflies, outdoor bar and different playgrounds. It's just perfect for spending days from spring untill outmn. I highly recomend the visit👍.

Wonderful place to explore and have a stroll through. There's lots of well maintained gardens with various types of flowers. Also interesting are the animatronic dinosaurs, while they are a bit on the older side they still are worth to see.

Such a nice and interactive place for kids and adults. There is a playground for kids, a bar for adults, a shop, and a lot to see, all around 15min from Ljubljana. Amazing!

An amazing playground for kids. It's one of the best if not the best that we have seen so far. There are many different things to do for different age groups. I'm sure you will find many fun things to do if you go there with a toddler or an older child.

The idea to visit arboretum Volčji potok during Christmas time was one of the best ideas when visiting Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia... probably even better idea will be to visit the arboretum in May when roses and tulips bloom ... but that will be next time ☺️ The only recommendation is to visit it at dusk (not too much daylight but also not late in the evening).... really something special ...and a lot of people ...and be prepared to take a lot of beautiful photos ☺️

Amazing in the spring time. You can walk around for hours and spend a full day at the park. Dogs are allowed. There is a playground for children and a bar with refreshments and sweets.

Absolutely gorgeous flower park with forest part, nice little cafe and some attractions for kids. Recommend.

Magic place! It's a must go if you visit Celje or if you are near Ljubljana, there are hundreds of species from all over the world 🌎 I loved that management works into have a beautiful place very clean. Inside you can eat an ice ream, toast and coffee. The only thing that I don't like is that they charge dogs ...

Huge, beautifully maintained gardens. Lot to see and enjoy. We've been there in the end of April while the tulip fields were stunning. Really worth a visit!

Beautiful garden, feeling of an ancient times, just go for a walk on many paths through the garden filled with flowers and greenery, some sculptures of Dinosaurs. Take a few hours to explore, there is so much to see... ruins of an castle, you can take a ride on a little train, go to a children playground or go for a coffe in many little bars.

We experienced a delightful nighttime stroll beneath the twinkling lights amid the advent season. Simply enchanting. We plan to return in spring when everything is lush and green.

Nice park, lots of walks, very entertaining for the kids. The price is 23e for family of four. About 4hours to see it all and relax.

A beautiful botanical garden in a large area. Everything is nice and tidy. Good signposting to the right paths. A million different kinds of tulips were in bloom when we were here. Colours and shapes in every variation. Very beautiful.

The botanical garden north of Ljubljana is always worth a trip. There are many different areas within the garden, like the rose garden or the succulent house, but also nice hiking paths. Throughout the year there are different events happening, like the tulip show in spring.

Extraordinary place to relax and enjoy nature with friends or kids. Entrance is 9 euro for adults, but it worth the money

It was great, very diverse flowers and herbs. The exhibition of cacti and orchids are simply beautiful. The names of the plants are hilarious. It has a huge children's park and an outdoor gym. Strollers can be rented for children. People and children with special needs have cheaper tickets. The café is a bit more expensive but it's worth it, coffee is wery tasty and pies are excellent. Later you can buy flowers in the flower shop next to it. At last I recommend going in early spring than now.

Our non-profit organization visited Volčji potok as a team building field trip. I thoroughly enjoyed walking around the grounds, barefoot on the meadows, smelling the flowers and seeing different landscape ideas I would like to incorporate in my garden one day. It was a perfect day!

Gardens and playground are top quality. It looks like they have been made with compassion and meraki (Greek word, look it up!). Fascinating landscapes and inventive playground. The whales and dinosaur sculptures need a bit of refurbishment. That is not to say the scenery is not ideal!

Beautiful and very wide garden! Inside, several spaces for children, bar and some flower's shop and souvenir. A garden to reach in every moment of the year! I hope to visit it soon again!

Very nice park. At the time we were there tulips excebition were ongoing. The price was not too high. We paid approx 20 eurfor family ticket. There are also child playgrounds and possibility to drink a coffee in the nature.

Amazing park and botanical garden, there lakes with ducks, fishes and etc.. there is also exhibition with butterfly's inside, cafeteria's and small snack bar. The parking is free and the ticket is 9€.

Beautiful horticultural park to visit. Great place also for families with kids. Tent with tropical butterflies is of my favourite places to see. Recommend.
