The square in Piran is a nice central point to a lovely town on the coast of the Adriatic. Great food, great people and great views. Visit Piran and the central square if you can you will not be disappointed.

Whilst it was difficult to find parking, this square is part of a lovely coastal town complete with castle and great coastal views. Great spot for a visit and 2-3 day stay

Really beautiful scenic location. You can climb up the hill to the church, or wander around the alleyways of the town.

I visited the square on weekday around 4pm in the middle of November. It was very windy. Most of the stores and restaurants were closed, but obviously Piran has its own charm even on such days. It was so peaceful and beautiful.

Piran is one of the most iconic cities in Slovenia. **Piran**: Piran is a picturesque town located on the Adriatic coast of Slovenia. It's known for its medieval architecture, narrow streets, and a rich history that dates back to the Roman era. The town boasts a preserved city wall, Venetian Gothic architecture, and beautiful sea views. Piran has a unique charm and is a favorite destination for both tourists and locals. **Tartini Square (Tartinijev trg)**: Tartini Square is the main square in Piran and is named after the famous violinist and composer Giuseppe Tartini, who was born in the town. In the center of the square stands a statue of Tartini, and surrounding the square are several significant historical buildings, including the Town Hall and the Church of St. George. Tartini Square is a hub of activity in Piran, hosting various events, festivals, and gatherings throughout the year.

My favourite place in whole Slovenia probably. The most beautiful daytime is at night. Children playing a bit football there but the crowds are gone. During daylight there are many tourists and it’s quite sunny. But you can sit down in one of the many cafés and have a cappuccino or something.

Great tourist destination, a lot of café shops around the whole place a bunch of old antique buildings, good views, and there are buses that are free around the whole neighborhood

A beautiful square in the center of Piran with some nice restaurants and cafes. I had these prawns for 9 euro. Unfortunately it was lashing rain in mid May when ilI took the attached images 👍

Quiant and more comfortable than most Euro Squares. Colorful buildings & the tower add flavor to your panoramic. Most evenings there are local vendors selling Slovenian made products.

Very busy tourist spot, nice cafés & restaurant, serving great things from cafe to beer, pizza to Schnitzel! Not badly priced, very relaxed & close to all the sightseeing location of the town.

A wonderful journey into the past, in a built environment similar to Venice. Brilliantly clean City. Great restaurants and cafes. Unforgettable!

Even on a rainy day, the square was full of charm. If you want a view over it, I suggest you go through the Graffiti Street.

Amazing Venetian-style square. Medieval houses and the smell of the Adriatic sea. Very cozy romantic place with a nice atmosphere. Highly recommended!

It has an undistinguished look and unique soul this city of Piran. It is something about it which drives me back all the time. Every time I am finding a tiny piece of unseen, mislooked...all in all a must place to visit and explore.

Very nice place to stay a while. Have an ice cream and coffee and view the masses passing through. The marble is impressive and the view to the clock tower and city wall is very nice.

This little village was such a wonderful surprise! We were staying in Portoroz for a conference and by chance took the free shuttle bus into the village. We then walked everywhere as you cannot drive there. It was so worth it! So beautiful from every angle. Everyone speaks some English too, which was very helpful. But, If you only speak English, be patient and remember they all speak about 4 other languages and we only speak one, so we are the uneducated ones in their space. Delicious Gelato everywhere too!

The heart of the city, impossible to miss. The Fornace parking free shuttle bus stopped us here. Tartini monument with the town hall in the background is the focal point of this nice square surround by cafes and restaurant. It was nice to admire it also from a church's bell tower higher viewpoint!

👍👍 A beautiful observation point, a little complicated to reach, but worth it. We did a great hike. Halfway we stopped at this bay. A beautiful view followed by a swim was a real highlight. The road to the water is steep but doable. The steps are high and sometimes quite stumbling, but the path was...
