We had a beautiful time out in the nature and in the castle. Great place for kids especially the Dormouse trail.

This is one of the best spots for a quick and contentful family and children friendly day out around Ljubljana. Excellent Post and Telecommunications museum is 20 meters from beautiful park and a thematic bees and small forest animals learning path. Endless fun for children and grownups alike. Near by restaurant good and inexpensive. Playground and a brook with a wide shallow pebble beach will occupy and entertain children of all ages.

Amazing place for hike

Great place to spend couple of hours (Museum, garden, New theme park). Lots of possibilities for adult/family hiking around the area.

Very nice museum. One of the best in Slovenia. Not super new and fancy, but offers the right amount of interactive exibithions. Very good for kids as they can try to write with a pegion feather (included in the ticket price), and the staff is also very friendly and helpful. They showed us how once phones used to work on two interactive phone devices. Overall, it's a very simple but beautifull museum located in a peacfull and natural eviorment. If visiting during the spring/summer months I do recommend you to take a short stroll through the castle park. Have I also mentioned the museum is super cheap and affordable?
