I've
been
a
member
here
at
Fitness
First
Bangor
for
about
ten
years.
It
was
called
DW
Fitness
back
then
and
it
closed
for
months,
like
everything
else
did,
during
the
lockdown.
It
was
called
Everlast
for
a
while
after
reopening,
and
then
Fitness
First
after
that.
New
equipment
was
installed
and
it
was
much
better
and
more
reliable
than
the
old
stuff,
which
seemed
to
be
out
of
order
half
the
time.
The
layout
of
the
gym
floor
was
improved
as
well.
When
things
do
break
down
now,
they
seem
to
get
fixed
pretty
quickly
and
that's
a
very
good
thing.
Soon
after
Jennifer
became
manager,
they
had
major
work
done
on
the
pool
area
and
the
drains
and
ever
since,
the
spas
and
the
steam
room
have
been
working
well.
I
enjoy
nothing
more
than
relaxing
after
a
decent
workout
and
being
able
to
chill
out
and
having
a
nice
chat
with
my
friends.
And
I've
made
a
lot
of
friends
in
the
club.
It's
a
lovely
atmosphere
there.
I've
got
to
say
that
there's
always
a
welcoming
attitude
from
the
staff
when
I
go
through
reception.
They're
always
friendly
with
me,
whoever
they
are.
Some
people
I
know
from
a
while
back,
and
there
are
quite
a
few
new
staff
there
now
as
well.
I've
got
to
give
a
special
mention
to
Adele,
who
always
encourages
me
and
shows
genuine
interest
in
my
fitness
routine.
A
kind
word
really
means
a
lot
and
helps
with
mental
health,
which
is
just
as
important
as
physical
fitness.
Gavin
and
Mel
run
the
restaurant
impeccably.
It's
so
clean
and
the
food
smells
so
good.
That
makes
it
very
hard
for
me
not
to
order
a
massive
lunch
every
time.
I'm
trying
to
lose
weight,
though,
and
I
need
to
lose
a
bit
more
before
I
start
eating
out
again.
The
people
who
eat
there
recommend
it
highly
to
me.
In
fact,
the
cleanliness
of
the
entire
building
is
top
notch
most
of
the
time.
The
maintenance
staff
are
working
very
hard
to
keep
the
place
clean
which
is
not
easy
to
do.
Some
gym
members
don't
really
care
too
much
about
tidiness
and
leave
things
on
the
floor
or
they
track
water
from
the
showers
all
over
the
locker
room
tiles.
In
my
experience,
though,
the
vast
majority
of
people
who
use
the
facilities
here
are
careful,
considerate,
and
polite
to
other
members.
As
I
say,
I've
made
a
lot
of
friends
here,
with
fellow
members
and
with
staff
as
well.
I'm
sure
I've
spent
hours
upon
hours
talking
with
Adam,
the
general
assistant.
He's
hard
at
work
nearly
all
the
time
when
he's
on
the
job,
but
even
when
he's
scrubbing
the
tiles,
he's
got
time
to
say
a
few
words
and
he's
taught
me
more
about
football
than
anyone
else
in
my
entire
life.
He's
a
very
valuable
member
of
the
team
at
Fitness
First,
Bangor
and
he's
helped
make
a
lot
of
people
feel
they
belong
here,
in
my
opinion.
So
there
you
have
it
-
some
of
my
feelings
about
a
club
I've
belonged
to
for
a
good
chunk
of
time.
Just
so
that
nobody
thinks
that
I've
been
told
to
post
a
good
review
or
else
I'll
be
beaten
up
next
time,
I
will
say
that
the
locker
room
and
pool
area
could
do
with
a
lick
of
paint,
and
please,
please,
can
somebody
put
some
new
music
on
the
player
in
the
steam
room?
We've
been
listening
to
the
same
song
in
there
for
six
years
at
least
and
I
can
hear
it
in
my
dreams
sometimes.
Having
said
that,
these
are
very
minor
criticisms
and
don't
mean
that
I'll
give
anything
less
than
5/5.
Thankyou,
everybody!
