Beautiful meal ,very friendly and service was great . Liver and bacon and veg my sister really liked it ,ham egg and Proper chips , lovely.

Lovely local pub with friendly service, an excellent beer garden and delicious food. A very welcoming atmosphere, you'll feel right at home.

The Vale Of Glamorgan Inn is half way down the main street through Cowbridge. Staff excellent and very helpful. My first visit and was made very welcome. Lovely log fire burning in the grate and very cosy.

This place has a country pub" atmosphere even though it is in the centre of a small town - which is its main charm, I suppose. Otherwise the other reviews tell all and are almost entirely positive. It's just along the road from my old school: Cowbridge Grammar - what an experience. I can glance out of the inn window and gloat that the school closed long ago - and not before time! The inn gives me solace - and excellent beer. I shall be back soon for some more HB, cheers!

Really friendly little pub with lovely open fire and nice beer and reasonable prices. we were running late so just had a pint and a small glass of red wine with quick bite to eat. Everyone was very welcoming especially the dogs, will go back again thanks

Care in the community have rated this the best pub in the northern hemisphere. If you want a quiet night out with an intimate atmosphere and a discussion of the finer points of extententionalism then this is not the place you need. However if you prefer good beer, beautiful barmaids, and people who really really really dont give a monkeys if we leave the eu or not this is the place for you.

This is the best pub in the vale. No darts music gambling machines pool or other distractions. Just good beer good company and more characters than a dickens novel. If you like atmosphere get there as soon as you can.

A proper unpretentious pub. No frills , just sit down and enjoy relaxed atmosphere. Vague feeling some of the chairs have been upholstered since I last visited 8 years ago but you wouldn't really notice. Nice seating down alley to side.
