Excellent 3 day stay for my wife's birthday. Delighted wife, ecstatic 2yo Golden Retriever and I loved it too. Super-friendly and helpful hosts Sylvia and Francis. Great breakfasts and evening meals. If you are not fond of dogs, it's not for you. If you love dogs, it's perfect. Even if you don't have a dog, Llop and Jac will adopt you. Our room was the smallest one but with enough room for us and the dog. The other rooms are more, well, roomy.

The place is amazing and beautiful great for relaxing, Francis and Sylvia were warm and welcoming and also Llop and Jac their dogs. We have a pinscher which is a very small and the dogs were really nice to her. The breakfast and home dinners were delicious. We really felt like home and will definitely come back!

A fairytale come true! As an American this is exactly what you picture a Spanish Castillo to be. Sylvia and a Francis are the perfect hosts, ensuring every detail of your stay and experience and taken care of. I felt like we should have paid twice the amount for what we received. The peace and quiet was just what we needed after visiting the busy cities and tourist attractions. The pool, homemade tapas and and ice cold local cava were surreal. Hope I can return to this fairytale soon.

We had a great stay with our Belgian hosts Francis and Sylvia. We had a very warm welcome and were taken care of in a great way during our stay. It is obvious that they put in a lot of hard work to make it a great place for their guests. It's a great location to start a nice and long walk around the wooded area. Enjoy the homemade granola in the morning, the swimming pool or the sunny balcony in the afternoon, or just play fetch with their magnificent White Swiss Shepherd dog Llop all day.

There are places that you will just never forget. This is one of them. The most dogs friendly place we have ever visited!

After travelling a considerable distance from the port of Bilbao by car, my colleague and I arrived at Mas del Llop Blanc quite late in the evening, 9.30pm to be precise. This however was not a problem to our host's, who received us with a very hearty warm welcome and immediately offered to prepare an evening meal, accompanied by a sophisticated and very palatable local wine. Our meal and wine was more than welcome and also delicious. Feeling completely satisfied after our meal, we retired to our room which had all the creature comforts one could wish for with an exceptionally large en suite. After a truly relaxing and satisfying nights sleep the hospitality of host's was continued with an absolute amazing spread of more food for breakfast. I have had the pleasure of many B & B overnight stops but this one rates as one of the very best for hospitality and cuisine. Even "Jack" the dog made you most welcome and I could easily have taken him home with me.

Cannot say enough great things about our stay. Sylvia and Francis were so warm and welcoming. The accommodations were quiet, comfortable and extremely relaxing. Breakfasts and home cooked dinners were delicious. It was highlight of our trip. If your travels take you to Sobrestany, definitely make a point to book a room.

Actually we were looking for a nice and quiet place, not in the city, with some luxury and comfort. The choice was between a modern Hotel in de nabourhood of L'Essartit or a bit out of the urban zones. we choose for the non-urban zone. Well it was a very nice surprise, really an old nice building with only six bedrooms, but a huge shared living were we ate with some other guest and could relax in the evening. Also the patio outside was very nice and rainproof. Then the room, we had a wonderful old restored and well furnished bed room with a very spacious bathroom. All luxury we needed. What also was very nice was the protected parking lot on their on backyard. A huge dog was welcoming us as the owner did upon arrival. So far the infrastructure, but for all what counted was the warm welcome, the couple who is managing the complex are fantastic. We had a very good five days and want the thank again Sylvie and Francis for their hospitality. A trip we will never forget. And no the pool was still a bit chilly, so no yet swimming...
