Really nice enjoyable beach with a clean crystal water. This place is where Costa Brava starts(Portal de La Costa Brava). Around the beach, there’s a street with lots of restaurants, few shops and there’s a few playground areas. Occasionally, Blanes gets a little overcrowded tho, which is probably not a big deal. The parking spots are around the beach or city. ;)

Beautiful beach lined with colorful houses and rocky formations. There are no chairs or umbrellas to rent on the beach, so you have to bring your own. But it’s right in town, so there are plenty of great cafes and restaurants near by.

Platja de Blanes is a beach located in the town of Blanes, which is situated in the province of Girona in Catalonia, Spain. It is one of the largest and most popular beaches in the area, stretching for over 4 kilometers along the Mediterranean Sea. The beach is known for its fine golden sand, clear turquoise waters, and stunning views of the surrounding mountains. It is a perfect place to relax and soak up the sun, as well as to enjoy various water sports activities such as swimming, windsurfing, and sailing. There are also plenty of restaurants, cafes, and bars along the promenade where visitors can enjoy delicious Catalan cuisine and refreshing drinks while taking in the picturesque views. Overall, Platja de Blanes is a wonderful destination for anyone looking to enjoy a relaxing beach vacation in a beautiful and vibrant setting.

Beautiful area. Sa palomera is worth a climb for the views. Great market on a Monday although it closes around 2pm. Plenty of bars and restaurants.

Beautiful beach, very clean. I didn't see a single bit of rubbish in the water or the beach. Not too crowded. The sand is small rocks and stones and thicker sand, and even leading into the water but it wasn't too uncomfortable

Lovely! Cristaline water, amazing views, sun rises off the sea in the horizon.

Clean and nice beach but quite steep and deep waters for kids or non-swimmers. If you’re with kids, go towards the end of the beach, close to the adjacent beach, where the waters are shallow.

Nice quiet place if you want to take a break from your work. It's quiet laid back and less crowded. Most people settled here are pensioners. If you looking at a lazy day stroll and some fun on the beach this is the right place

Beach was clean and free from litter. The sea was clear and waves quite small. Toilets were situated near the SOS not far from the port. The beach would be difficult for young children and non-swimmers as it goes deep quite quickly.

Quiet environment, plenty of space, but too many jellyfish.

Sand so gritty it hurts you're feet. The water is quite dangerous & I'm a strong swimmer.. after a couple of steps there is a sharp decline & a shelf due to the strong currents. Hard to get out of the water as a result of this. Definitely not a place for families..
