Must visit. Lovely place. Great ambience. I waz lucky to see their night dance events and it was way too beautiful and a lovely memory. People were so nice. Food was amazing. So many animals i have seen. There was no big 5s but i was happy with the zebras, deers ,roans, kudus impalas and many more animals. Hut was good too. Power bank is a must and a universal adapter is recommended to charge your devices. Overall good experience.

This place puts you in the center of nature, waking up next to animals. We have been able to walk among wildlife and do very nice hikes (biking and horse riding available). The guides and other members of staff are extremely helpful and above any kindness. The center is well located. Note: don’t expect any hippo as they have been sent to another location for security reasons

A great small wild life reserve with non dangerous wildlife. There a different lodgings available + camping. Our favourite were the beehive huts. Lots of activities you can book. Very suitable for families with (younger) kids

A great outing, the horse ride is a have to. The scenery is breath taking and wildlife all over. Restaurant has great sandwiches. Take along a loaf of bread or two to feed the fish and turtles at the Restaurant, its a spectacular view as they jostle to get to the bread first.

It was fabulous to discover this game sanctuary on horseback, during our two hour guided tour by Madja/Maja. He was very happy and knowledgeable, learned us a lot about the environment and animals. It was an experience to never forget!

We just stayed in the Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary for one night but really enjoyed our stay! We slept in one of the Beehive Villages and really liked the accommodation! The furniture is spartan but there is everything you need inside the hut. The bathroom was clean and the shower was hot. We didn't eat in the restaurant so I can't say something concerning the food. We really liked the sanctuary due to the fact that you can discover everything by foot. We did a nice walk in the morning and saw lots of zebras, impalas, a colourful chameleon and even really large crocodiles. We searched for hippos but couldn't find any. The atmosphere in the camp is really nice, especially in the evening at the campfire. You sit there next to warthogs that sleep next to the warm fire. A great experience! We can highly recommend a visit of Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary!

I was not happy about that we paid R80 each at the gate, when we were inside we were told to buy WIFI voucher. It was the first time hearing about paying for WiFi. The place is big, the toilets are clean. Though the animals looked hungry and not happy. I am not sure if the hair was shaved or the conditions they living at caused the hair to get removed.

A lovely outing for the family to experience the beauty of nature. The roads are easy to drive. Some parts to the view points require a 4x4 though. There aren’t any big animals so be prepared to mainly see buck. Stunning scenery though. The roads could be a little better signposted. R80 entrance fee per person.

Solo female traveler: I visited Mlilwane as a day visitor. I was in Mbabane for work without a car so arrived via taxi which is doable. I highly recommend the visit and wish I had had more time here. The staff were really great and helpful and there was lots of variety of things to do (MTB, trail ride, walk etc ). I did a 2 hour hike around the lower, flatter part of the park. The trail was well marked and I felt totally comfortable as a solo hiker but wished i had either more time or a car to get to the more challenging trails. If I had had more time I would have combined this trail with some of the more challenging that get you higher up with more views over the valley. Facilities were nice and well taken care of and while I didn't eat there the restaurant seemed like a lovely post hike spot. Overall highly recommend making this part of your visit to this part of Eswatini. Thank you Mlilwane staff.

The most stunning place to have a picnic with family and friends in Eswatini while watching wild animals and cooling off in the swimming pool. Mliwane offers beautiful scenery and fun activities to enjoy your stay, such as horse riding, bike riding, game drive, etc. Note that alcohol beverages are not allowed at the picnic area. I will definitely visit again, loved it😍

We spend the night in a rondavel here. The rooms were good and the staff was nice. The food (especially the dinner) was not that diverse and not many choices. Also wasn't the best quality. Also no service (which is fine) but make sure you have cash because you can't always pay with card. We did do the mountainbike guided tour which was amazing, with a lot of good information.

Mlilwane is not a prime wildlife viewing destination. (such as big 5)The some of the key species are kept in an enclosure, making it easy to find the animals. Wildlife to be seen include crocodile, zebra, wildebeest, kudu, nyala, bushbuck, roan antelope, oribi, red hartebeest and impala, reedbuck, warthog…In addition to watching animals, here you can choose from horseback riding, cycling, dining in restaurants, swimming or bird watching, hiking and other activities.

First mini safari and it was really interesting. Saw all kinds of wildlife. No prey tho - for anyone expecting lions and such. Their are crocodiles. The camp is awesome to grab lunch in and watch the wildlife come through. Literally saw warthogs and several other types come through the camp. One warthog was probably five feet from me. The camp does horse rides. I was too chubby to ride but my GF wasn't so they did the horse tour and she loved it. Would recommend!

A small but nice public game park. We did horse riding with the guide Majesty. Het was very knowledgeable, patient and knew a lot about the animals. A great horserider himself. A must do when you are in Lobamba in eSwatini

One of the most amazing places I've been to in the world! A perfect balance of nature and comfort... We stayed at a house for 3 people, the beds were great and everything was spotless. Animals roam freely everywhere! The territory is huge with all sorts of trails... Fabulous! We explored it for hours. The restaurant offers a nice variety of healthy food. Thanks, everyone who made our stay unforgettable! ❤️

Mlilwane Park is the perfect sanctuary for a pleasant time with your family and friends. I had a beautiful experience with my beloved one, admiring the stunning scenery. The nature is astounding; you can observe peaceful impalas leaping or a lazy crocodile snoozing, while the zebras wander cautiously. Spend a blessed vacation at this incredible park.

In all honesty the best place to go for a weekend/vacation getaway. The abundance in wildlife, the amazing helpful staff. Its exactly what a proper african experience is. Do yourself a favor and go to the restaurant and watch as the crocodiles come down the damn next to you. The prices are amazing and the beat place to go in all honesty

We visited for the day and did the self-guided Hippo trail. It took about 2.5 hours and took us through the gorgeous sanctuary. We saw Wildebeest, zebras, all sorts of antelopes, some hippos (a safe distance away in the water!) and crocodiles! Plenty of birdlife and spectacular landscapes. Would reccomend spending a couple of days exploring this park, would have loved to try the horse back tour and mountain biking!

Beautiful! The staff is also very friendly. Would definitely recommend staying in a Triple Room at farther end of the road from the rest camp if one is available, both for the privacy and the stunning view! We had warthogs, Impalas, and monkeys racing and playing right off the edge of our porch! If looking for a good hike, we enjoyed the Hippo Trail, which starts and ends at the rest camp. We're fast hikers, yet it took us almost 2 hours to return. Beautiful countryside. Walked near some zebras, antelope, and turtles. Despite the name, we didn't see any hippos.

Be sure to take the 4x4 road to the top of the hill, or go hiking to get the same views. Watch out for wild animals. Don't swim in the dam on the your way black to camp, as there are large crocodiles and hippos beneath the they surface.

Hippo Loop takes you through 6.8km of a rich variety of flora and fauna. It is easy to moderate. Some parts of the hike has a climb, but if you give yourself time you will just enjoy. We hadn’t brought bug spray, that was a mistake. Our hike started at 3 pm, and we finished with the sun in the most perfect state. Restaurant had some of the best chicken curry we have had-truly delicious!

We stayed in a Lontweni Rondavel (4/11-5/11). The reception staff was very friendly and accommodating. The sanctuary was quite nice in terms of fauna and wildlife, although we saw no hippo's and just one crocodile. Which was surprising as they promote themselves with 'breakfast with hippo's and crocs'. The Rondavel was nice enough, although not mosquito proof and the bathroom was abismal. Also, don't expect any service in the restaurant or free wifi.

Leuk park. Jammer. Personeel wel heel erg vriendelijk! En heel mooie paardrijrocht gedaan.

There aren’t many animals compared to some wildlife parks but this one has a really joyous atmosphere. We spent about 3 hours wondering and driving in this beautiful park. Very scenic especially the water features, trees snd fauna. Great for taking photographs especially in the evening with the stunning reflections across the lakes!

We stayed in the main camp with our car and rooftop tent. You need to pay the park entry fee in order to stay + camping fee. V. nice campsite, lots of room, shade, new and clean bathrooms. Every site has braai and simple plug option. Service is great, WiFi is for $ and soso. Restaurant is convenient, but slightly too expensive for the quality (buffet choice only). They also have laundry service. Great place to hike (recommend hippo trail + summit trail combo for hikers).

It’s a great place to spend the day. There are hikes you can do by yourself, many animals like zebras and warthogs. It’s possible to rent bikes but they can be a little bit expensive. The restaurant is above average for Africa standards, and they even have good vegetarian options. There is also a little souvenir shop in it. The entrance is free if you have a Wild Card.

We were disappointed as we were told about there are hippo's however after our 2 hour drive and on exit the guard apologizes after we asked him where their location is, only to find out that they were moved out and relocated weeks before due to drought. We could've been informed earlier.

The place is full of wild animals walking around and there is plenty activities to keep you busy. The landscape is also lovely especially when you pass by the dam. Only issue was that we had to pay for an extra fee to enter the property which was unexpected.

(Translated by Google) It was a very disappointing stay on the domain. From the beginning we did not feel welcome. The staff was very, but also very unfriendly. Both at the entrance gate and at the reception, they are also very intrusive in the restaurant and they are not friendly there either. It was very difficult to communicate with them in all areas. We have come here specifically for horse riding and MTBs. After long saw to almost begging, we were able to ride for 2 hours, my friend went MTB with a bicycle whose wheels were loose and which was anything but fine. When this is raised, there is hardly any response from the staff. The staff really gives you the feeling that they don't want to work. You have to pay for WiFi, if you want to do an activity that first has to be paid for what the staff themselves repeat 10 times, which seems very strange to the customer. The domain is focused on outdoor activities and in the rain you can not stay in many places fan in the far too small rooms with hardly any light, no chair or table present. The rooms are not clean and they are poorly maintained. Not recommended for us to visit as we were so shocked by the lack of hospitality.

I stayed a few nights in the Beehive huts and had a magnificent time. The staff were beyond lovely! I felt that I made wonderful friends. Zebras wander through the parking lot. Warthogs snuggle up to burning embers at night, which is adorable and nerve-wracking. The nighttime jeep tour was amazing. I cannot think of a single thing that was missing. This is not a Big Five safari ground; it is for much more personal contact with the wildlife. As a birder, I was entranced. It was perfect in every way.

👍👍 I enjoyed dancing with the performers here and touring the traditional homes. The guide was very informative and friendly. He walked me to see the waterfall and told me more about Swazi history. It's definitely worth the visit.

Museum
👍 Nice small museum, entrance fee is R100 for foreigners. They will offer to guide you through the museum for no extra cost. I did not choose this option as I enjoy taking my time and reading every display. There is a small gift shop selling fresh popcorn and you can also purchase a ticket here to go...
