Have you ever just wanted to be in a comfortable place for lunch where you can get some nice soup and a sandwich or a salad? This is the place. In this comfortable cozy small restaurant you're able to get a perfect lunch for almost any occasion. If you're stopping for a business lunch with a colleague it works. If you were a family and you need to grab a bite before errands it works. If you are individual and you just want to have a nice lunch it works. The menu was accommodating. I believe they make one of the best burgers in Baltimore. They also make it terrific gyro. And the kebabs are very nice. Most important it is affordable. Do not hesitate to come down and see for yourself.

Service was very good and food was exceptional! The mac n cheese with black beans and ham and jalapenos was sooooo good! My honny had a cuban which he likes as well 🙂 apple cider margherita is a definite!

Place is awesome! I get the gyros, club sandwiches, burgers, and cheesesteak so far. I only discovered the place about a month ago. All the food is great. Can't wait to go back and order some different stuff next time. Highly recommend this hidden gem.

We ordered take-out from this restaurant for lunch, and our order was ready for pick-up in 25 minutes! We got the Lobster Roll, Grilled Reuben, Lobster Melt, Haddock Reuben, and Broiled Haddock Sandwich. Each sandwich was amazing. They really fill the Lobster Roll with greatly seasoned lobster and the sandwich itself was really filling. However, out of all the sandwiches we got, the Broiled Haddock Sandwich stood out the most. The flavors were balanced so well and the Haddock practically melts in your mouth. I wish I could've eaten this sandwich a second time before I left Maine!

Side Street is one of my favorite cafes. I have had multiple meals here and they have all been phenomenal. The cheese steak has been my favorite so far. Service and atmosphere is the cherry on the sundae. Definitely will continue to come here as often as possible!!

Went for dinner and the service was great! Our waitress was very attentive and helpful. I ordered the lobster roll — which is market price, at the time it was $38 — and it was good. I also tried the original burger and it was great. A member of my party had the Cowboy, which was mac n cheese, and really enjoyed it. Great variety of options, and did a great job avoiding cross contact for a member of our party with a shellfish allergy!

My husband and I ordered from this location today as take away. I tried to call an order in but the phone was busy. When I arrived I saw that it was very busy and understood why the phone had a busy signal as many people were ordering at once. The lady behind the counter was really nice. I was a little apprehensive at first due to the clientele mostly being silver foxes, and if you are from the area, I didn't want this to be like a well known silver fox establishment that rhymes with TepperBill. Anyway.... I had the chicken pita, my husband had the beef kabob meal, and we split an order of french fries and a cup of chili. My chicken pita was very messy but very good. It had honey mustard on it instead of tzatziki which I thought was really good. My husbands beef kabob meal was good but the beef was a little dry. The rice had really good flavor though. The french fries were crispy and good, but the chili was really good. Usually take away chili is eh, but this chili was really good. The portion sizes are really large as well. We will definitely order from here again.

A very pleasant surprise. First time in the area, needed to find somewhere to eat, Google, then this place was less than .2 miles from where we were. So...give it a try and...it's wonderful! Relatively small, cottage-style family atmosphere, excellent choices on menu, all self-prepared and delicious. The people running it are delightful and welcoming.

Interesting location, cozy, limited seating. Appears to be a home converted into a restaurant. Difficult to find since it is on a side street. Food is great, gets busy during a lunch, but if you go outside that 12-1 window it's suggested

Food very good. Couldn't give 5 stars because of plastic silverware!! That and the red solo cups for our water really diminished our enjoyment of what was a birthday lunch.

Had a lovely lunch today at side street cafe and it was delicious. I shared a burger and a salad with my mom and we loved every bite! Great food and friendly staff, lovely atmosphere. Easy ordering process and dining experience even with short staff- they make it work well! Be sure to support this local business! ❤️

This place is a hidden gem! I have lived in Cockeysville for 20 years and wish I found Side Street Cafe sooner. The service is magnificent, the food (and the coffee) is flavorful, and the price is unbeatable. Inside is a treat for anyone who appreciates a casual, yet eclectic experience. It is great for a solo lunch, a meal with the family, or a meet up with an good friend.

This restaurant is very welcoming. You can just feel the warmth and coziness of this family owned business. The menu offers something for everyone. My personal favorite is the shrimp/chicken kabobs. They are delicious and are served over saffron rice with your choice of hot, mild, or no seasonings. The restaurant is divided into several small rooms that all invite intimate conversations. This restaurant is a hidden treasure in Cockeysville.

Always friendly staff, great freshly prepaid meals. Very consistent quality, I tend to always order the lamb gyro or the chicken cheese steak often.

I ordered a chicken lamb combo and first bite was met with a bad, almost rotten piece of lamb. Everything had to go to the dumpster.🤢
