I will never recommend Kaiser to anyone. The waiting time for an Urgent Care is unacceptable. I went to Lutherville (the new one) and the waiting time was more than 3 hours. No body came to my room and apologize for the waiting time or at least gave me an update. They said there were 2 patients before me and I waited more than 3 hours. That's unprofessional, unacceptable and horrible. I started 6 years ago with Kaiser Permamente and every time it's getting worse. Now I decided to move on with another health insurance. I got tired of this experiences. No excuses, no more loosing my time anymore and no more unprofessional medical staff. Please, don't enrolled with then. Just do it with Medstar and you won't regret it. Si pudiera darle 0 de estrellas, se los daba. Lugar fatal.

We are new patients and so far I’m incredibly impressed. It is so much easier and more convenient to get appointments scheduled than I’ve ever experienced with other offices. Having the pharmacy and an urgent care right on site is a huge benefit. I have yet to encounter anyone who hasn’t been extremely pleasant and helpful. We have already been in to visit Dr. Kushner in pediatrics and she (and everyone in the office!) was so wonderful with my very nervous-of-shots 11 year old. I cannot thank you enough! We are very pleased to be part of the Kaiser network!

Lovely facility! I like the system that tells you where to go on screens. Plus they send you a text message telling you where to go. Everything was very seamless. The person who helped me, but he was super nice and professional. She was also friendly and gentle with my shot! Would definitely recommend!

I would not recommend Kaiser insurance. Here are the reasons: 1. Their urgent care in Lutherville is far from an urgent care, they only had one physican on duty, what a shame, a multi million dollar facility catering to a huge metropolitan area with one physician, you guess the rest, 2. Rude staff, mostly African American, if you have light skin color, you will feel the biasing, we had nearly 10 black patients pushed ahead of us by black employees, we finally had enough and left after 5 hours of wait, 3. Lack of good doctors as compared to other doctors in and around Baltimore area, we learned this after few visits. We are just waiting for this year to be over.

State of the art facility. Everything is beautiful and new. Mask required but they have a box of masks available for free right when you walk in. Free parking garage two minute walk to the building. Many kiosks available right when you walk in. Registration staff also available to help you in the lobby. Large beautiful lobby for waiting. Many elevators available. Everything is clearly marked. Also have a cafe. Staff was all very nice. Some providers were not th best- very doc in the box, see you for 20 minutes and move on. Take your time and try out different providers until you find one who cares and is c competent. My only concern is that with Kaiser you are limited to St Joe's hospital. They recently transitioned from GBMC.

Kaiser is by far the foremost preventive medical facility I've ever been a subscriber to. The clinicians are very focused in procuring their patients with the best methods to aid them in being and staying at their optimum best, regardless of age or station in their lives. State of the art equipment throughout. Well coordinated and very humane care from all the physicians I've been treated by. Very pleased and grateful.

Kaiser prefers you die if you do not have insurance. I am advocating for a friend whose insurance was canceled. She has an appeal in and is also trying to re-enroll and pay out of pocket in the interim. The problem is, her husband has Stage 4 Kidney cancer and is on a medication that costs 20K a MONTH. The manufacturer will provide the med for free while they are trying to straighten out the insurance, but they need the Dr to sign a form indicating her husband is prescribed this medication. However, since they are not currently "members," they will not even accept the form to fill out. THEY put him on the treatment and prescribed the med but refuse to even verify that! Her husband does not have a good prognosis, even if everything goes right. To be so greedy and petty in a matter of literal life and death is both cruel and obscene. Whatever you do, DO NOT use Kaiser for your insurance!!!!

Amanda, my occupational therapist, was excellent. She is very motivating and listened to my concerns. She tailored my plan each time I had a visit, since each time my needs changed. She was always upbeat and positive and carried her amazing smile each time. She was like this with clients who were not her patients as well. Thanks so much for helping with my recovery. Just to mention, I could have gone to a Kaiser closer to my home but decided to drive 25 minutes away just for Mrs. Amanda. She is great!! Just an update: Everything she discussed with me on my last visit was spot on! As I continued with the plan she gave me, my condition has improved so much that I am almost at 💯. Her knowledge of my injury and what needed to be done for recovery is impressive. I want to say thank you again, Amanda. Kaiser, don't let this one get away.

Had a colonoscopy and the stress was the day before and prepping for the procedure. The drink solution actually wasn’t that bad with the lemon mix. My problem was forcing myself to drink it all in the period of time given. I suggest curbing what you are eating leading to the procedure. After 3 drinks I was already ready for the procedure but I finished all solution because I did not want to have to repeat if for any reason my system wasn’t clear. The day of procedure was perfect, the Dr, the nurses, everyone had a smile and was very transparent. I was blessed to have the perfect team from the time I checked in at front desk until I was dropped off to my daughter who drive me home. Thank you!

OMG! The patient care and service at Kaiser is terrible. First, wait over a month to schedule an appointment with so called "specialist". The appointment suppose to be about 30 minutes but they will make you wait over 45 minutes just to see that mediocre doctor. Then, they rush your appointment and deny care that you really need. Then, be ready to get unexpected high bills. I was puzzled, and I wonder if I even have a health insurance. I am changing my insurance ASAP this enrollment period and if you can do it ASAP and have mercy on yourself. Additionally, the receptionist and nurses working here need to learn some mannerism and treat patients with some respect. There are some really nasty folks out here. Hope you replace them with some more professional folks that knows the value of respect. I was shocked with their terrible service! Wow!

I came into Urgent Care at Kaiser Lutherville early this morning in such extreme pain that I could not sleep. The triage nurse took me right in, the doctor arrived shortly afterwards, examination, x-rays, minor procedures to relieve my pain and I’m on my way home all within 2 hours. Everyone was kind, showed concern and great care, and I feel like a new person.

Kaiser is atrocious at handling scheduled appointments on time, especially the Timonium location. All appointments are always at least a half hour late. Doctors completely ignore the blatant lateness when coming into the room. Kaiser must remember that patients are paying clients, not prisoners. Please treat our time with respect and be decent to your customers. Simple updates, whether in the waiting room, or patient room, on "why" or "how much longer" a patient is waiting would go a long way to show some respect to the patients. Doctors never apologize for obvious long waits on their own. Sometimes, after being called out, the Doctor will give some excuses. I understand Healthcare has challenges, especially since COVID. But, there are many simple & cost free strategies to at least give the illusion that Kaiser values their patients' time. Get it together, Kaiser.

We went to urgent care for a quick diagnosis and medication prescription, we had to wait for nearly two hour! For the results, the Advance Urgen care doctor left us for an hour in the room, and it is not that they were busy. The place was empty. No nurses, no doctors, no patients around, the waiting area was not that crowded either, patients had been going in and out quickly, we assume it wasn’t going to take long since it was a quick prescription. I have no idea what the doctor was doing for a whole hour, but we were left to wait for some simple prescriptions and diagnostic, I get that diagnostics take a long time to get but we had waited the time for the diagnostic to get to the doctors hands, when they called us the doctor should already have the needed paperwork, so I don’t understand what took so long.

Tania Felder was our phlebotomist for our 3 year old and she was incredible!!! She had a wonderful manner with our daughter. She was able to get a stick immediately! We have had bad experiences with getting her blood drawn: this was the best experience we’ve ever had. Thank you so much, Tania!

I highly recommend any and all services performed by Dr. Xu He. Every single person on her surgical team, Carl, Jenny, Demitrios, Dean, put my fears to rest and restored my sight! Bless all of you for giving me new eyes 👀😊❤️ Kathy Ambrose

I visited this center for the first time on Friday, 3/17. The center is gorgeous, modern and spotlessly clean. My appointment was in Ophthalmology. The staff was warm, welcoming and pleasant. My appointment was on time,. I believe my nurses name was Cheryle. She took the time to explain each eye test we did while getting ready for the doctor. Dr. Volikas was thorough and reassuring. All around great service, this is what I love about Kaiser Permanente!

Not a troll, just speaking from my experience with the wait time in urgent care. Read other peoples reviews related to the wait time, and you’ll know. It was horrible, I felt like I could’ve went to med school, complete my degree, come back, and I would have still been waiting Their front office staff weren’t the nicest either. Surprising that the Kaiser location in the city is more efficient. Avoid this location if possible

  • 1/5 Angela P. 5 months ago on Google
The wait was ridiculous as there was only 1 dr on staff and people were steadily coming in including a baby, who I felt sorry for. I had to ask for an ice pack since neither of the 2 people that I saw prior to seeing the dr, one being a nurse, offered one to keep the swelling down. After about 3 hrs they finally took X-rays and said it'll take about an hour or so. It's now 3:48am, and I arrived around midnight. Hopefully, I can see the dr before 5:30am. Is this normal? This is the 1st time I've been to Kaiser's "Advanced Urgent Care".

Great experience in my early morning visit. I was there right before shift change as I saw the entire team that kickstarted my care leave out as I waited for follow up after testing. No one treated me like their last task for the day. I got thorough and caring interactions all around. Thank you. The location is also beautiful

It was my first time getting care here. The radiology department starting from the front desk are very friendly and nice people, my appointment was with Hakima and Dr Jonas. They were so helpful and professional in what they do. I was so nervous to do the procedure but once I saw their ability at their job, I felt safe. They made sure I was taken care of. They know exactly what they are doing. I would definitely recommend their service.

Nurse Julie was awesome at the urgent care Kaiser in Lutherville! The consideration and kindness she presented to my two year old son made his urgent care doctors visit so much comfortable and better than anticipated. I truly appreciate and admire her passion and consideration that she has for her patients ( my 2 year old being one of them ) She kept me comfortable and satisfied as mom! The urgent care staff was awesome !

I brought my sister in law in for a hip replacement. I needed to be available to receive and share reports from the surgeon and staff with family. My phone needed charging. First Lolita’s made sure I found a good outlet to charge it. Because it took a long time, I had the privilege of observing her interaction with the whole spectrum of people. She was always professional and pleasant. She never had any edge to her voice, even with people I would have liked to slap. There was nothing she didn’t seem to know and no questions went unanswered. Kaiser is fortunate to have her. She’s truly a person who serves well

I received great customer service from the front door guard (helpful and friendly greeting) , the front desk assistants (urgent care and X-ray were helpful and glad to assist), the technicians (fast and efficient) to the physician (knowledgeable, thorough and quick…actually listened and offered educated advice). The phlebotomist (a real pro,—I didn’t even feel the needle) and X-ray staff were kind and willing to answer questions and offer assistance. Everyone was kind and provided quick and efficient service,—the best I’ve had in awhile anywhere. Kaiser just keeps getting better! Thank you 🙏🏼

TLDR: good experience First time coming to this location; Once I got out of the “traffic panic” and took a breath to look around, everything was pretty simple to figure out and there were some front desk employees to help, as I had questions. The Dr. I saw was friendly, to the point I was *completely comfortable* even though I was there for a test—my first time experiencing that type of test. The Dr. kept me informed, chatted, & made sure I understood what to do throughout the whole appointment; it felt like talking to a favorite aunt who was sharing necessary info. I am confident I will be comfortable coming to this location in the future & I know there is a Dr. I will look forward to seeing.

Been here for a few appointments for both my son and I and have used their urgent care and pharmacy. Staff and doctors are always friendly. Very clean facility. Always in and out quickly. Garage always has parking. Rock climbing wall outside for the kids is a plus

Kaiser has always given me excellent service. Tonight was no exception. The nurse Shannon, the phlebotomist, Tracy, Dr Fifer and both of the ladies at the front desk were very pleasant, efficient and helpful. I honestly can’t say enough good things about my care here. And honestly, this is not an exaggeration.

My husband arrived at 9pm and by 1pm on Monday morning all tests and evaluations were completed. He got discharged with detailed instructions. Doctor, nurses, clerks, Radiology technicians and lab technician were extremely professional and compassionate!! Five stars for brand new facility and staff!

I absolutely hate the idea of having to go to urgent care, however, after visiting this facility I must say that if one must go (and let's face, everyone must at some point whether they like it or not) this is a facility you wanna go to. The first thing I noticed about this facility is there is a lovely nice clean parking garage. The facility building is also very clean and welcoming from the outside in. I had to visit the advanced urgent care center, the laboratory, the pharmacy, and the restroom. All the areas I visited were clean and well maintained. All of the staff I was privileged to meet were friendly helpful and sympathetic to the situation that brought me here. I was very impressed with the kindness of the doctor, phlebotomist, pharmacist, the intake nurse, the triage nurse, and even a few people I didnt work with but were just friendly and kind with a greeting as they passed in the hall. The security guard greeted me as soon as I walked in and was very helpful, as I had no idea where I was going. All in all, regardless of the fact that I did not want to come but I did need to come, the staff here made it as pleasant as a trip to the urgent care can possibly be.

On a rainy day, I found myself at the Lutherville Kaiser AUC with a toe injury. From start to discharge I was greeted and treated with smiles, concerns and respect. Dr. Taylor and Nurse Samuel were wonderful! I appreciate how Nurse Manager Jennifer took the the time to assist the doctor in evaluating my toe. I am glad she didn't faint when she saw how serious it was. Even the radiology tech expressed concern. It is a wonderful feeling when people show that they genuinely care and I appreciate this wonderful team for all that they do. You cannot go wrong going to this Kaiser location for a simple injury, the location is one of the best!

Waited for over 6 hours to be seen in urgent care. Once I was called to the back it took another hour for the doctor to see me. Got there at 8:58 PM and didn't leave until well after 3AM. The staff was pleasant.

I had a wonderful appointment at Kaiser with the cornea specialist. I was nervous and in a fair amount of pain due to stitches that had come loose. Everyone was very kind and kept things light which helped to reduce my anxiety. Additionally, the doctor was great at explaining the procedure and aftercare in a clear and concise manner.

So thankful the lutherville location is now open for urgent care. South Baltimore we've waited for 6 to 8 hours typically, here it was maybe 4 total. New, excellent and well organized. Also saved us about 20 minutes driving on the beltway.

Dr. Hernandez and his team are the most caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable group of medical professionals I have yet to encounter. He cares deeply for his patients and goes out of his way to ensure that he provides the highest standard of care, answering every single question you may have and addressing every concern before you walk out of his office. Also, he is always available; exceptionally responsive to phone calls and emails. And as if all this isn’t enough, he shows great concern for us as caregivers. As a caregiver, I honestly don’t know how I would be able to manage if I didn’t have him and his team caring for my uncle. I am so grateful he is my uncle’s doctor.

I usually don't leave review but the service has gotten so terrible that I have to provide feedback. I have been a long Kaiser member but the service is going downhill. The wait time is awfully long and nurses and doctors here don't even seems to care their patients anymore. Additionally, their billing is so confusing and their employees don't even care in resolving it. They keep transferring me back and forth. Please Kaiser you can be better than this! Thinking about switching my health insurance now. 😩

My girlfriend Michelle Johnson is the person who received the care. She said Stanley Wilkens from the lad is outstanding. She is a very hard stick and he got her on the first try and it was painless. Stanley alone gets 5 🌟. She also saw Dr Wolfe in podiatry. Today was her first visit with him and she said he was very informative and helpful for her foot issues.. Last but not least she also went to radiology and as always very friendly and very helpful with all the tests she had done and has had in the past ..
