😠 I went here for OB care, only lasted 2 appointments. Of course when I did my 12 week ultrasound they didn’t see a nasal bone on my baby, but failed to tell me at any time during the appointment. They made me wait in a room for a physician that never showed up to discuss my risks of having a baby wit... People often mention pain, time, appointment, surgery, left, staff, procedure, doctors, told, CAUTION,

I went here for OB care, only lasted 2 appointments. Of course when I did my 12 week ultrasound they didn’t see a nasal bone on my baby, but failed to tell me at any time during the appointment. They made me wait in a room for a physician that never showed up to discuss my risks of having a baby with Down syndrome after refusing the lab work for screening. I then discovered not having a nasal bone on ultrasound at 12 weeks for African American babies is not uncommon, but you would think such a renowned establishment as this one would be aware of that. I was also coaxed into getting the lab work for screening anyway, but the genes they are comparing are not designed for AA mothers. I contacted my doctor I was seeing and it took her about a week and a half to respond through MyChart. I decided to withdraw from care because I need a physician to make sure they speak up for me and tell me transparently what is going on especially as a health professional and a minority with disparities in child birth. I have no desire for a random resident I’ve never met to deliver my child. Oh and by the way they notified me at 7pm about the nasal bone situation.

The doctors are pretty good, I have a lot of confidence in them The staff, not so much. They have a lot of signs posted on the plexiglass at the check-in counter with instructions, "Use the restroom prior to checking in", "Do not place personal items on the counter", "No cellphones allowed". The staff are generally adversarial. That's a lot of instructions from Karens who are in charge around that place. Not the best patient experience in that regard. I'll get a picture when I go back for my follow-up.

The best infusion center to go to hear a licensed nurse tell you that kids are better off not wearing a mask during a pandemic. You can't schedule an infusion online, and no one ever picks up the phone when you call the appointment scheduling line. Leaving a voicemail is a waste of time. And if you call other office numbers, they say they can't help you and transfer you to a useless number and the cycle repeats.

I have consulted with an attorney about this doctor. I will be in touch with the president of this hospital.Let me start by saying I came to Dr. Kofi to correct a procedure. But instead he made it worse when I woke up from my procedure I was rushed after opening my eyes to leave the hospital. I asked for a mirror they stated it was not one. I should have known something was wrong . I asked for Dr. Kofi it was stated he ran out after he did my procedure I don’t know how true this is. From what he stated to me verbally and what I have in my chart and what was sent by Emily doesn’t add nor match . From the looks of it seems as if he cut my lip out like I am some type of experiment. I have taken photos and will be sending over to attorneys . Please listen to my story forget the good reviews pay attention to the bad ones . I thought I felt safe coming to him . Then he took his personal cell phone out and taken pictures of me before he could get my approval . Seems like the pictures he took he sent it to someone but also I had a recording device listening to what was going on doing my surgery also I will seeking law suite against this place And I will be sending my photos to every news channel after I speak with and attorney first .no one gave him permission to take my lip out. Dr. Kofi had students there working on me when . I did not give him permission for that either I have rights I requested him not students. I do have that documentation as well just in case it was to be erased. I will be in touch with the hospital president as well.

We went to Johns Hopkins hoping for better treatment by our doctors. After working with four different doctors here, my wife and I are no closer to getting help for her issues. Her doctors don't seem interested in helping. They've all run a few expensive tests, referred us elsewhere, and shrugged off her concerns. The reputation is not deserved.

I feel Tanya Ivey Bloom, nurse practitioner, was disrespectful to me. As a nurse, spouse and patient advocate, I accompanied my husband for his annual post cancer urology appointment. I was instructed to wait in the waiting room until my husband was assessed to talk with Tanya about my husband's health. After approximately 30 minutes my husband exited to the waiting room and informed me "Tanya said she did not have time to talk to me. I could text her on the portal" I was on time for the appointment, actually almost thirty minutes early as requested by the scheduler. For two years, throughout COVID, everyone I have encountered at Johns Hopkins Hospital has been kind and professional.. until today.

Do not go to the pavilion 2 suite 245 location for any OB/GYN services if you can help. I've only been here twice with the first time begin seen at a reasonable time and my most recent visit where I had to leave because the provider, Maybel Wahab, CNM, was close to 40 minutes late! The standard of care is abysmal and they couldn't even explain what was going on. Patients make these appointments well in advanced and it's extremely unprofessional to be treated as an afterthought at important medical appointments!

Johns Hopkins is the best health care provider in the United States but some of the staff really don't care about how they treat people.

This review is specifically for the Ambulatory Surgery section. We arrived a bit early and were told that we needed to wait to even check-in. Then we were ignored for 30 minutes. The operating staff called my friend to see if he had arrived and then he was able to check in for the appointment. We both took time off today for this stressful procedure and to be forgotten was really sad. Also, the door to the procedure room is automatic and literally slams every time it closes. Everyone who works here has heard the slam so often they don't hear it. For those of us looking for a quiet space to wait this is really loud and intermittently annoying.

This review is for the Otolaryngology Green Spring Stations front desk specifically and not the medical staff. Terrible receptionist! Gives attitude, doesn’t look the patient in the eye when speaking to them, is not willing to communicate anything from/to the patient and does not relay accurate information to audiologist even when asked to. I’m saying this after multiple encounters with her, not a single incident. Her attitude makes you never want to return to the Green Spring Stations clinic although the audiologist we’ve been assigned to is outstandingly great! Unfortunately, this receptionist is there every day and so she must be changed otherwise her attitude will only deter patients from what could’ve been an incredible clinic for its experienced medical staff.

So so bad! Making an appointment is really hard because they don’t answer the phone. Or they hang up on you once you get through. My provider asked me how I was doing with my diabetes, but when I told her she had the wrong chart open and I don’t have diabetes SHE ARGUED WITH ME .

The doctor here is a liar. They actually used an intern with no experience to perform our eye surgery, her name is Sarah Y. Wang. She looks really young, that is crazy. We know this after she broke our eyes. Then we went back and tried to find this doctor and the people at the hospital told us she was in a project and had left!!! I don't think she left, it was just an excuse for the hospital to try and protect this intern. Everyone here is a liar!!! From the doctors to the service staff in this hospital, I did not feel that they cared about the patients at all. Really strongly not recommended!!! If anyone finds this intern, her name is Sarah Y. Wang. please contact me immediately. There will be a reward, thank you! ! !

This is about the 4th-5th time I have been to this place. Every visit gets worst. The clerks at the registration seat in room 2300 has the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. My daughter appointment was at 3pm, I was told to arrive by 2:45pm & I arrived at 2:55 pm and we did not get seen until 3:50 pm . Unbelievable and very inconvenient.

The receptionists at the blood lab are as dumb as you get. They specifically told my husband that he has to get his blood tests done there to be covered by insurance - not labcorp. He listened to what they said and they smacked him with a huge bill. We argued with them for months and alas they sent us to collections. Their idiocy knows no bounds.

Dr. Jung failed to tell me that I had an astigmatism that could have been corrected until after my surgery. He assumed no responsibility for this, claiming, "I don't make recommendations." and "There was no witness to know what our conversation was during consultation." He also left me with a dropped eyelid from the tape he used during surgery. All told, it was an upsetting and disappointing experience. Linda Niederman

Scheduled new patient appointment 3 months ahead. Called two days before and was told my appointment was cancelled. Next available was 3 months out. My criterion was only "next available physician." This is absurd.

My four year old had her adenoids removed and tubes put in her ears at this location last Friday. From the time we checked in until the time we left, the nurses/staff/doctors were all fantastic. They spoke directly to her (not just to us) and let her make decisions about her care whenever possible, which made all the difference in the world in terms of making her comfortable. They placed her IV after they put her to sleep, which removed most of the anxiety she was feeling--she didn't even realize there had been a needle in her arm! The facility itself was very nice, and the family waiting room was fantastic--all kinds of neat toys and things to play with to distract my baby from her anxiety about the procedure. Having had 10 surgeries myself, I know that the treatment we received was top-notch. Thank you thank you thank you for all you did to make the day easier for all of us!

Dr. Hinton and her team are the most wonderful, thorough, and caring. They were able to squeeze me in last minute and put my mind at ease. Not only did Dr. Hinton solve my problem, she answered all of my questions and I left having no concerns. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a quality, professional, and honest doctor!

Once you find it (as it's amongst other buildings in Green Springs station), it's a nice facility with a nice staff.

I use this place for general checkup for me and my kids. It was a little hard to make an appointment in the beginning, but it is good that I can meet with trustworthy doctors and get a detailed checkup.

I don't want to go nowhere else, quick and easy. Cardiology, bloodwork, MRI, and a few other stops. Parking is great.

*****CONSTANT PAIN***** Nerve damage to eye on May 2nd, 2023. As of today (FEB 11th, 2024), my eye is still in pain. *****CAUTION***** Elevator to the fourth floor always feels like it is going to get stuck. May want to use the stairs instead. ***** BOTCHED***** Initial visits included screening to determine candidacy for surgery. Test equipment used is at two addresses - Columbia 1st & 4th floor - Greenspring Station scattered all over 4th floor. *****CAUTION***** Reputable businesses provide customers with a FOLDER of LASIK facts and consent forms on initial visit. This does NOT happen at John’s Hopkins. *****FYSA***** They made me believe the surgeon was more experienced by having a resident join up on initial consultation. UNLICENSED PHYSICIANS in the state of Maryland conducting surgery at this location. *****CAUTION***** Lasers used are OLD TECHNOLOGY that took 30 seconds to correct my myopia of -5.0, new lasers can perform in under 8 seconds. ***May 2nd, 2023 SURGERY*** HUMAN ERROR - Refractive correction surgery was performed on both eyes - it did NOT go well. Immediately following the surgery my left eye felt like SANDPAPER, meanwhile my right eye felt uncomfortable, but not abnormal from the symptoms to be expected. My left eye was experiencing AGONIZING pain for three weeks after surgery - I could barely open it. There was a corneal abrasion, but I get a run around answer from doctor when I asked. ***July 28th, 2023 SURGERY*** Second surgery performed on my left eye to correct problem of cell ingrowth occurring under the LASIK flap (very rare < 1%). Incorrectly CUT LASIK flap - CONFIRMED by outside ophthalmologist. Doctors at Hopkins just kept saying the original procedure went “all well,” which obviously is NOT true. * 08-09-23 * My eye continues to have a sharp stabbing pain in the corner and duller pain at side of face. I have been doing a cold compress at night. The left eye hurts even with eye closed. The vision is halo + starburst + very sensitive to light + blurry vision both near and distant. * 08-18-23 * REALLY sharp stabbing pain in the corner of eye with dull pain on the side of face STILL. Went for a follow-up on left eye. Contact bandage is still in my eye and I will return for removal in 10 days. * 08-28-23 * Orbital eye pain continues - I have a feeling of pain behind my eye. Sharp pain on inside corner of eye and dull pain on opposite side of eye. * 8-29-23 * Doctor removed the temporary contact bandage that I had in for the last month. Halos + starburst appearing worse at night. Pain is CONSTANT STEADY pain I have been having since May 2nd, 2023!!! EYE DROPS five times a day NOT helping with pain. * 08-31-23 * My eye PAIN feels WORSE since having contact lens bandage removed AND I have more glare + halo effect at night. I do not know what else to do…. I have tried everything. Cold compress, warm compress, using GEL drops five times a day. I get up in the middle of the night to do eye drops, because my eyelid sticks to my eye. *09-27-23* Trying blood serum eye drops as directed. I have NOT noticed any relief. Stopped the warm compress - only using COLD compress now. *10-27-23* From what I researched - the nerving endings are now exposed - epithelial surface defect due to improper handling of the LASIK flap. I was advised to go see a neurologist. I am still experiencing a sharp pain behind my eye. *****CAUTION***** John Hopkins must not have a “just culture,” a key component of safety management systems🧀, because the procedure went “all well” in their eyes. *****CAUTION***** Doctors are vulnerable to distraction from the job at hand. Residents are shadowing them and joining on patient appointments for training purposes. Additionally, unlicensed physicians in the state of Maryland are performing surgery. *****CAUTION***** Their lasers are OLD TECHNOLOGY. *****CAUTION***** Procedure used is flawed. Both eyes are cut into before refraction correction is started.
