Cool spot and good drinks. The old clock building it's in has an interesting story, as does the distillery in itself. Seems like a great space for entertaining large groups or just having a drink at the bar. We stopped in right before they opened and ran into one of the owners. He was super welcoming and kind enough to give us a very informative little tour. Will definitely be stopping in again when out this way again!

I just hosted my bridal shower at Star Union Spirits and it was the perfect venue! The space was huge, so distancing during Covid was not an issue. All of our bartenders were on top of everything: picking up plates and empty glasses, getting water and drinks to people, and making great conversation with my guests plus they did distillery tours too! It was literally the perfect day and I know it's because of the hospitality, great service, delicious drinks, and beautiful venue that Star Union provided! You definitely have loyal customers out of my whole family!

My friends and I went on a tour of Star Union Spirits and had an excellent time. The guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and fun. While the distillery is small, there is a section dedicated to local history which complemented the tour and made it even better. We got to taste many different spirits and definitely got our money's worth. Fun fact: due to Illinois liquors laws, they have to make all their own spirited mixers, e.g. bitters, flavored liqueurs, etc. So all cocktails are completely made in-house. I look forward to going back for drinks soon!

I can't believe I haven't left a review yet! I have been coming here for 2 or more years. Everything here is fantastic! Everyone is very friendly and always helpful if you have questions. Their cocktails are top notch, and their liquors are also great! My favorites are the Apple Brandy, 75-25 Whiskey, and Navy Rum - but nothing here is bad. They have something for everyone! Great people and great cocktails! Always happy to continue to support local businesses! I'll cotinue to come back here and support these great people! Cheers! 🥃🍸

Phenomenal service. Came in to do a tour and got so much more. The staff was engaging, answering questions well past the tour. Drinks are amazing and the selection is very impressive. Highly recommend stopping in for a visit.

This is a must stop and check out location in a neat location. Star Union Spirits is a small batch distillery making several spirits. Personable staff can give you some history and tastings of their products. They do have staff on hand that make the most amazing and unique cocktails. We will be going back.

Exceptional drinks in an incredible space where you can see where the spirits are made. Add in phenomenal music what else could you ask for. If you are in the area (we came from Chicago), you must have a four titans and enjoy the rest of your night.

Forgot to review this place earlier. I came here from out of state, it was my first distillery tour ever so I didn’t know what to expect. The employees/staff I interacted with were awesome!! They were personable, welcoming, and overall seemed like they love their job. Had fun tasting and getting a behind the scenes experience. 10/5 stars if I could, will definitely take the 6 hour trip to visit again at some point!
