I would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Every staff member including the owner, Jim and manager, Dave are phenomenal. They truly go above and beyond. I had a unique situation for what I thought they wouldn’t work with me, but they were beyond reasonable and accommodating. We need more businesses like this in the area. I will be supporting them and will definitely be going there in the future! Truly amazing!!

Staff is super polite and super helpful. Been coming here for years and always had good service, they are under new ownership and have been here multiple times since the new owners took over. The place is a lot less cluttered now but truthfully I didn't mind or even enjoyed the cluttered look of the store before, but that's just my opinion. The new staff is also very nice and helpful. Last time I was there a customer was being fairly rude to the girl who works because they were sold out of a something and then were mad about the price of something else-don't like it shop somewhere else lady and you'll find that's the price pretty much anywhere. What a female dog the customer was. I felt especially bad for the employee as she was so polite despite being treated so rudely.

Very small selection of men’s size 9 hockey skates and men’s hockey padding. I’m sure inventory fluctuates though. Prices seemed decent. Seemed like a good place for beginners to start sports with cheap used stuff. Overall not bad.

Went in to trade a couple of things in, was given fair and honest prices for all the items they could take. I was looking around while they were evaluating my gear. This Play it Again is most definitely the cleanest and best organized store in the Chicagoland area. Cameron is the man, he went above and beyond helping me out.

Stopped in to buy my daughter ice skates. I had no idea what to look for as in fit and form. The staff here was amazing and knowledgeable! The skates are in excellent shape and as she grows out of them, we will return. Thanks so much for all the help!

Store was very well organized making it easy to find what I needed. Staff was very helpful when I needed additional assistance.

Owner is super knowledgeable in hockey skates / gear. Does a great job sharpening skates too. Very happy and decided to drive past our local store to come here in the future.

Great people to work with. Jim was extremely helpful via email regarding various pieces of equipment and very kind as well. Today at the store they were quick, efficient, and very helpful. Highly recommend this store, which is very clean and organized. Five stars all the way!

The staff are great. However the policy and the price can go F itself. Tried to buy tennis racket for my nephew to practice hoping it would be little cheap than the brand new. Fully trust on the store, I didn't check the brand new price. I bought it a used one. Then I found out it even more expensive than the new racket. Not even use and in the same day, I want to return it. Doesn't make sense if you know what I mean. Policy ""doesn't let you refund. Only add in store Credit!" Great!

I’ve visited a number of Play it Again Sports and this has been my best experience so far. I brought in some old golf clubs to sell and got a reasonable price. The red headed manager and his son were super nice to work with and even though they were busy they took the time to help me pick out some new drivers. Will definitely stop by again if I need to buy/sell used sports equipment.
