Great hike, took us around 40 minutes to climb, with a 6yr old. Path was very well maintained. Couple of great spots to take some photos. Top was a bit busy (at 11am on a Sunday) but I guess that's to be expected. Plenty of car parking spaces below with people coming and going regularly. Would recommend and do again.

Even on rainy wet day it still makes for a spectacular view. If you go at sunset itโ€™s the best time. Just donโ€™t forget to pack a torch as it gets dark quick on the way down! I take my clients here for photo shoots. Canโ€™t beat this spot!

Reasonably tough climb, definitely not wheelchair or pram friendly. No food on site, just one water tap. The view from the top is worth the climb. Allow approximately one hour return

Perfect for a short hike to go with friend or family (even kids)! The trails are well constructed and easy to follow, perhaps one can reach summit in brtweem 20-30min, dpeneding on their pace. They view is fantastic up there but be careful not fall to your โ˜ ๏ธโ˜ ๏ธโ˜ ๏ธ ppl around are always son nice so be nice to them too!!

Quite an easy walk up if you donโ€™t mind stairs. The information sign says allow two hours but it can be done in 20 minutes with an absolutely breathtaking view at the top. Highly recommend

Great little hike. Good for the kids; make sure they stay nice and close once you're a the top though, it's a pretty steep drop. Moderate fitness is necessary, or at least working knees! There are lots of steps. ๐Ÿ˜„

A beautiful nature walk that will challenge you if you dont exercise regularly. There are steep areas, all walkable, so wear good shoes and tread carefully. The view at the top is spectacular and comfortable smooth rock areas make it easy to spend an hour up there soaking up the views.

Fantastic hike for the entire family, our 3 year old absolutely loved it. Great views once you reach the top ๐Ÿ˜ and the climb is also very enjoyable. Round trip was just short of 2.5km and around 180m of total elevation. The trail starts easy but quickly turns rocky and is a little uneven and plenty of rock stairs, but classified as easy. Highly recommend ๐Ÿ‘

Excellent walk and views. We tried our toddler just walking to the "bat caves" which are 40% off the way up. She was super proud of herself and was sad batman wasnt home

Have done this mountain a number of times now and I don't think I'll ever get tired of it. Perfect introduction to hiking a mountain - very clear trail, gets the heart rate up without being overly difficult. For absolutely any skill level, and just about any age. Can't beat the 360 degree view of Glass House at the top.

I cannot explain how perfect is this mountain. I have never ever see that type of view. Amazing view i can spent all of my life there. Many parking lots are available on the ground and the hiking trail is not so hard. You can reach up to top in 30 mins and the rest is just enjoy the best view in the world. Thanks to people who keep that place so clean and maintain all the area. I will definitely go there again so many times. Be careful there is not restrooms or store. You should bring your own water or food

This is one of the most scenic locations around. It's reasonably straight forward to climb if you stay on track. Parking in the shade. Beautiful breeze at the top. Good shoes and some water and of course a hat. You'll enjoy it so take your time!

Takes around 30 minutes to walk up, easy walk at the beginning of the hike and gets steeper closer to the top. Good path but rocky. Great view once you are up, you can see for miles and miles. Free parking.

Stunning views across the beautiful Glasshouse Mountains. Be prepared for a good little climb and a bunch of โ€œinfluencersโ€ taking selfies from the top. Unfortunately on my visit there were a few drones flying around doing their best to ruin the peacefulness of the location, but either way itโ€™s a beautiful viewpoint. Says safe for kids but you want to keep them close by at the top. I would also suspect if wet the rocks at the top would be very slippery. Overall a great place to visit, great views and some good exercise on the way. Definitely worth the visit.

Busy today but started later than planned. A great walk for younger kids, approx 30 mins with no stops, and awesome view from the summit.

A place to get physically fit. 2.8 km, spectacular views at the summit. Not busy in weekdays but still few people around.

An early rise to hike up this beautiful Mountain...the sound of birds and early morning breeze made this experience an amazing one! The Sunrise was just stunning! A must do!!!

Great uphill pump hike taking approx 20 minutes! Easy track to follow with many stone steps. Amazing view from the top !

Great walk up - easy trail- lots of rock steps, 168m high - the view is absolutely beautiful and worth the climb. No toilets but there are some at the visitors centre 4km away . There are ropes to assist in the steeper areas if you need it. Will take 30-40 mins depending on your fitness levels

Love this walk! It's kid friendly too, my 6 year old loves it. Kids just need assistance towards very top but only for 10 seconds otherwise, it's great. The view is beautiful

This walk has not changed significantly from when I walked this well over a decade ago and the view at the top still does not disappoint. There is reasonable parking at the entry to the walk itself although there are no toilets. The uphill walk can be done in under half an hour with reasonable fitness with shades/tree lined pathway most of the way up. There are no barriers at the cliff tops although the edges don't seem too undercut, but it wouldn't take much to go over the edge if you're not careful. Top is fully exposed to the sun so slap on the protection before you head up.

Really nice scenery with a big surprise at the top where you can see all big mountains surrounding Mount Ngungun!๐Ÿž๏ธ The climb is fairly easy with mostly stairs or solid rocks to walk at. Compared to the Mount Tibrogargan or Mount Beerwah summits this is a walk in a park. ๐Ÿ˜Š Highly recommend to climb for the sunset or sunrise (both possible with small flashlights for the way up or down). ๐Ÿ‘†๐Ÿ‘‡

An easy climb for all ages. My 3yo grand daughter managed the hike to the top no stops and said it was good.

Amazing walk up Mt Ngun Ngun , great path and spectacular views from the top. The last bit of climb can be slippery if wet, you are climbing up flat looking boulders. If you are not scared of heights walk to you left and climb right to the top. Takes approximately 40 mins up and bit quicker coming down, depending on your fitness level. Worth the views. Early mornings are best with seeing the sunrise over the coast. Well worth it. Enjoy

Breathtaking views well worth the visit, takes a little effort to get to the top along the scenic path with big rewards at the top

  • 5/5 P G. 1 year ago on Google
The views are excellent. The pathway is bit rough and steep but warning are written at the start. The views from all he top is excellent. You can see Brisbane and Sunshine Coast. If you have fear of height than may be you could not reach at the top but could still enjoy the view from the lower height
