There are two good walks from the day use area. Piccabeen Cct and Kureelpa Cct, around 7km and 8.5km respectively. Both offer wide, clearly marked tracks with a few steep sections but nothing overpowering. Piccabeen has a couple of creeks to step across which might be challenging after heavy rain. Kureelpa is slightly longer and a bit steeper in places but all creeks have culverts and you can add a short detour to Kureelpa Falls. I met quite a few lace monitors and a coastal python on these walks. While in the area check out Point Glorious Lookout for spectacular views.

Started the Kureelpa Falls Circuit walk from here. Lovely (though long) walk through big eucalypts and impressive waterfall over rocks at end.

They have closed the 2 way trail bike track and have done nothing to the camp ground. Trail bikes lose again so don't complain when taxpayers start riding where they aren't supposed to.

Amazing spot surrounded by incredible forest. Oakey Creek lookout nice views to Mt Cooroora and Cooroy. Trip to Kureelpa Falls worth a visit for a picnic 🥪

Convenient place to park your car for a few nice walks, with a picnic area and toilets available.

This whole area is lovely. Not sure which but maps is specifically referring to, but I think this was down a bit of dirt track, no amenities, but beautiful scenery

A great little spot with multi trail access. There are clean amenities and cosy picnic areas and plenty of parking. An awesome viewing spot for spectators of the Blackall 100, but during that time it's only accessible via a shuttle bus from opposite the Mapleton QCCC.
