😠 My experience overall for a 'remedial massage & cupping' was disappointing. Bottom line, if you're after a decent deep tissue remedial massage, I personally don't think this is the place to go. Read on for my full experience. Firstly, my appointment was at 12.30pm and as you try and do when visiting... People often mention massage, time, told, treatment,

My experience overall for a 'remedial massage & cupping' was disappointing. Bottom line, if you're after a decent deep tissue remedial massage, I personally don't think this is the place to go. Read on for my full experience. Firstly, my appointment was at 12.30pm and as you try and do when visiting a new treatment centre you get there a bit before your set time to fill out any paper work. Now I do understand that occasionally treatments can run long, but I feel that if that is the case, better time management of appointments should be implemented. As I sat waiting to be acknowledged, more time was passing and I didn't  get acknowledged until 12.35pm, which at this point I filled in the paper work. Once I had done this, the owner then told me to wait as she made a phone call. I didn't get into the treatment room until 12.43pm, 13mins after my appointment was meant to start. I'm going to bypass the cluttered nature of the room and move to my treatment. I was asked what I wanted treated and gave ample information. I was told that the cupping would happen first and then the massage, which is fine enough. As it was getting towards the end of the cupping time, the therapist that did the consult with me brought in the other therapist working and told her to start the massage component on my legs, and if she got closer to the cupping areas (my back) she stop and then wait for the cups to be removed. The massage that I requested was for my lower body (legs and glutes) and lower back. The massage I received was for calves, some hamstrings and then entire back, neck and upper traps. My reasoning for attending, to get relief in my legs, was missed. And top it all off, my treatment time was cut short. I'm not usually one to leave a review like this but the sheer disappointment of it left me compelled to share.

Poor management! I booked my second appointment which was successful with a deposit but I got a call that there were so many people waiting and for some reason I was able to book it 😳 I was given different timings to choose in a text message and none of the timings suited me. This system or booking failure should be solved to avoid any inconvenience to the costumers especially in a system where a fee is charged for securing an appointment. I am not sure if it was only me that they were able to take it easy. Better call and book it! When a booking is available online then customers will book online.

My partner and I arrived for a 1 hour remedial massage each, one after the other. The therapist was running 15 minutes late. I was first in, and to my surprise just as I’m entering in the treatment room, I was told that we were not booked for a 1 hour massage each, rather it was for 45 minutes each. I advised that I booked over the phone and was told 1 hour was $77, and if you are a Medibank member. I was quite frustrated, as I felt lied and cheated upon. Although the setup of the room was nice, the walls and roof were dirty, and generally an unclean and unhygienic environment. The massage therapist had great technique, however was rushed during the massage. While I waited for my partner’s massage to finish, I could hear the conversation of a naturopathic consultation going on, which was not confidential or private for the client. Very unprofessional. My partner only received 40 minutes, which was also very disappointing. This was very bad value for money, paying $77 for a 45 minute massage and being lied to just to get clients through the door. Afterwards, I advised the owner about this miscommunication and I was told from the owner that the website was incorrect regarding the prices. Funny though, as I never booked through the website or even checked the website and was specifically told the price by the owner over the phone at the time of booking. We felt this was very deceiving and dishonest. As I previously was a practicing Remedial Therapist for over 10 years, I could clearly see that proper working practices were not upheld and unfortunately I do not recommend attending this place of business. We were very disappointed with the service provided and will not return.

Bought a 2-hour package on Groupon. The massage is only 45 minutes. I was supposed to get a hot stone massage but hot stone was not used. Facial was greatly disappointing. It was basically cleansing, scrub and mask application. I could have easily done that at home! I also did not receive my Finnish sauna as promised in the package. The therapist left in the middle of facial during mask application and I could hear a lot of chit chatting outside the room.

Poor service, very disappointed. Booked for Indian Head Massage on Christmas Eve but gave a body massage instead and left terrible cupping marks on my shoulders. I can’t believe she didn’t apologise but just offer me some extra service at my next visit. I don’t think would go back again as I felt so stressed about their service after I left the salon.

Over the past few years I have been treated by the beautiful goddess’s at Total bliss. From a professional bikini wax and fun chats to acupuncture and massage. They have not only helped stop back and knee pain but also know as soon as I walk in the door what my body and soul need. I can’t recommend Total bliss enough. A stunning serene blissful place to feel safe to heal.

I don’t mind the place. I’ve been there for remedial massage a few times. Staff are polite and the massage is good.

The family has visited Anjeleen many times, she always made time and went the extra mile to make sure the service is top notch. Dietary wise she is very knowledgeable too. She comes highly recommended for her skills. Overall, an excellent experience.
