😠 Most unprofessional place we've ever been to. Most unprofessional place we've ever been to. The Psychologist called us up pretending to be a receptionist to reschedule our appointment saying that they were not operating due to COVID restrictions. We felt something was a little suspicious so we called back asking if they were going to be closed. Reception informed us that they were open as per usual and that WE called them to rescheduled the appointment. We also found out that our initial time slot was taken by someone else. When we proceeded to make a complaint to the director of the business, he did not want to hear what we had to say. Common sense is obviously missing at this business. Calling up to complain about a cancelled appointment that we cancelled? Hmm....avoid at all cost

Our son, an adult, with speech problems (autistic), has been at the hub for nearly 3 years. We have never been happier with his development, considering his improvement in other areas of cognitive development aided amply with his speech therapy from the Hub. The patience and professionalism of the staff from the receptionists to the speech therapists and other support staff have been invaluable to our sons development. He communicates more effectively now more than he ever could previously.

I paid for an assessment at Health hub and the therapist concluded my kid didn't have adhd or specific learning disorder even though he ticked all the boxes. They recommended we do more OT with them and reassess in 6 months. I took their report back to paed who diagnosed adhd and learning disorder based on the health hub report findings. I gave the paed's report to Health Hub and asked them why they didn't think it was adhd and they accused me of doctor shopping (I only went back to the refering paed which is common practice), that I told the paed to give me that diagnosis (I didn't and I hope a paed wouldn't give a diagnosis based on a parents request, the paed gave the diagnosis based on the findings in the health hub report), and that I just wanted a diagnosis to get money (there is no funding for adhd, I got an assessment done because he was failing school and I wanted to understand if there was an underlying reason so I could help him), and that the paed will just medicate him and why would I want that. This interaction put a lot of doubt in my mind and delayed me getting him proper treatment. The whole experience was very emotional and costly for me and delayed my son getting the help he needed. I've since met other parents who have had similar experiences, in that healthhub therapist were reluctant to diagnose and instead tried to sell them more therapy sessions and reassessments in 6 months time. I am using an anonymous name here - so no, you won't find "anon" in your books.

I have been seeing Bianca at The Health Hub in Wynnum with my 8 year old Non Verbal boy, who suffers from Sensory Processing Disorder and Autism. His biggest issue is his sensory processing disorder and it is virtually impossible to find an occupational therapist that is trained in sensory integration. Bianca has been amazing, when I first starting taking him he was having regular meltdowns and challenging behaviours. After 12 weeks he is so calm, focused, happy and regulated. We just addressed his sensory issues and it has helped immensley. We have things at home now that we do to help him calm himself and also Biance suggested trying an audial processing program, which has been another game changer. Ryder since seeing her is now speaking more and gone back to wanting to learn. He has also started reading books aloud to me. In a nutshell, I could not recommend more!

We've been going to the Health Hub for several years and unfortunately seen it degrade over time. More recently there has been a lot of rotation of staff making it hard to have continuity of treatment. Administration has also been hit and miss with chasing of alreay paid invoices (we've paid on the day for years!) and appointment double bookings. Looking forward to providing an improved review when the practice returns to where it was 4 years ago.

Excellent multi-disciplinary practice! The therapists are highly skilled and dedicated to their patients' well-being. The facility is clean and well-equipped, creating a comfortable and welcoming environment. The staff is friendly, compassionate, and always goes above and beyond to ensure a positive experience. I highly recommend The Health Hub.

This place is horrible. Best not to go somewhere if they have no profiles to choose from. Right from the first appointment was an absolutely terrible experience. We were judged and offered help that wasn't suitable nor helpful to our family. I wouldn't recommend to anyone I know. Also on the first appointment they had someone on phone not wanting to ever go again which they can't even treat you decently for that either. That's not a good sign as yes that's how I felt too after going here. They treat you with such disregard and doing whatever they want (that's how they operate too) that they keep contacting you once you have decided to cease any sort of time/ communication or that this place even exists in the world. Very sad state of affairs here.

Very money hungry. Got a call from someone there to make a complaint and she was just rude and laughed the whole time very professional. Would never recommend this place. There in it just for the money not to help.

Myself and, my children have been going here for a few years. They have been so supportive and helped all of us through some of the most hard and exciting moments. A place I've always felt safe. They are still continuing their support with each of our journeys... So Grateful 🙏
