What an absolute delight. The staff, service, food and ambiance is on point. We had such a great foodie experience. The staff are were knowledgeable and friendly. If they weren’t sure of any of the questions we asked about wine and the food they were quick to find out and assured us with great recommendations and all the dishes were delicious. I can’t wait to go back and try their other dishes.

Great new venue in the heart of West End. Wonderful wait staff and very friendly. Interesting menu with many gluten free options for me. My husband and my dad both had pizza and said they were really good. Excellent wine list. On the more expensive side but food and drink quality is worth it. I have been here three times already and recommend giving them a try.

A-MAZING!!! First time dining & it was just DELICIOUS!!! Situated on the outside in West End’s West Village, this stunning restaurant was easy to book with a deposit needed as we had a table of 8 & booked in advance. Indoor & outdoor dining available. Once we arrived, we ordered our drinks from an extensive menu but for once, not some snotty drinks menu just a classic & easy to read one where you can make a decision! We ordered our entrees then our mains later & everything came out promptly, plated beautifully without a flaw! We had a long history with the lasagne crab (going back to its original restaurant) & I honestly hadn’t had it for decades so I’m glad it stood up to its history & it was made perfectly! The lamb was insanely delicious & the amount of meat on it was way more than we expected - definitely one to share! The seasoning on the edamame was addictive & the desserts were the perfect way to cleanse the pallet (as they say) & was just SO yummy! Obsessed with the cheesecake & I’m not even a cheesecake person! Easy to get to via public transport - 199 & 60 City Gliders would be the way to go as they stop out front. Easy for Ubers & Taxis to pick up/drop off as well, with free for a couple of hours & then paid undercover parking within West Village. Street parking available in the surrounding streets which are free on the weekends. Access available for prams & mobility vehicles from the Main Street, however it is more a fine dining restaurant so up to each individual as to whether this is suitable for your child. Restrooms are nearby & part of West Village but hard to get to with a pram or mobility vehicle as there’s no direct ramp from West Village to the restaurant & you would need to go back out & take the other path to get there. Converted for life, highly recommend & will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!

First visit to ZaZu Dining and Bar on Saturday night was a very busy venue in the west village area. The cocktails were to die for with lots of unique flavours and combinations. Food was solid. The only issue was the wait time, but the staff did apologise several times as the kitchen was busy. Meals where Carpaccio Beef, Prawn Gyoza, Karaage Chicken Confit chicken roulade, crab lasagne with sides of mixed green vegetables, Japanese fried rice and mash. The only dish that wasn't a stand out was the crab lasagne, definitely needed more crab and seasoning. Would definitely return

We tried the prawn bao/ tuna carpaccio/ slow cooked lamb/ salmon and the chocolate fondant. Everything was flavoursome. The carpaccio was fresh and well balanced. The boa buns are so fluffy and soft. The lamb fell of the bones and the honey glazed salmon was simply divine. The desert was also as enjoyable as the savoury dishes, super rich and oozy. The restaurant itself is elegant and vibrant. This whole area has changed slot recently. It's great to see places like Zazu popping up around Brisbane ,raising the bar.

What a great find! Definitely a bit expensive like all restaurants in Brisbane, but at least I know what I paid for; the menu was different from what we see everywhere, the crab lasagna to share were delicious and every staff member was a delight. I’ll be back.

I wish I liked our dining experience at Zazu more but a few factors missed the mark. Upon arrival, the waitstaff seemed very on edge and were not particularly welcoming or very warm. Also, we were a bit disappointed to have booked far in advance for 4 people and get seated at a very crammed 2 person table. The calamari was pretty tasty but the lamb pizza had very few toppings and a pretty poor quality base. We hope Zazu can improve on their service and refine their food execution so we can try it again.

Had a delightful dinner there last week. Cannot fault the staff and service! They were both first class. The food was excellent as well, and overall a great experience. If I had one suggestion it would be to provide more options for those of us giving alcohol a rest. While there were a number of mocktail options it would be great to have one that wasn’t fruit or chocolate based (ie. not sweet). Small suggestion only, but it’s nice to be able to have an “adult beverage” when AF.

Stunning food, so full of flavour. This is definitely our new favourite restaurant. We dined on a Friday night and although they were full, service was friendly and fast. Our waitress Francis recommended wines with our mains and was an absolute pleasure.

Great food and service. Service may differ if busy, especially on weekends. But the food is very delicious and worth a visit. Booking is required if there are more than five people.
