We
came
on
a
weekday
for
a
little
staycation
through
a
red
balloon
voucher
🎈
Pros:
Valet
parking
and
a
buffet
breakfast
was
included,
along
with
a
bottle
of
sparkling
on
arrival.
The
room
came
with
a
balcony
that
had
the
perfect
view
of
the
ferris
wheel
and
city
skyline.
Cons:
We
had
to
wait
three
hours
until
the
sparkling
wine
was
delivered,
even
after
asking.
The
floor
we
were
positioned
on
was
being
painted,
and
the
fumes
were
incredibly
toxic
and
the
debris
remained
all
afternoon
and
night
only
to
be
cleaned
the
morning
of
our
departure.
Unfortunately
due
to
the
rain
we
were
also
unable
to
access
the
pool
bar.
On
the
whole,
the
service
staff
and
quality
of
the
rooms
are
okay.
The
whole
experience
was
just
left
lacking
due
to
the
above
cons.
The
hotel
is
perfectly
located
for
access
to
nearby
eats,
bars,
galleries,
shows
and
museums.
Given
the
price
point
however,
I
would
have
expected
a
greater
experience
on
the
whole.
Update:
The
hotel
also
charged
us
an
additional
$295
days
after
our
trip
“by
accident”
despite
the
fact
we
paid
via
a
redballoon
voucher.
Very
disappointing.
After
calling
to
confirm
it
was
refunded,
I
had
to
contact
the
bank
to
also
cancel
another
pending
transaction
from
the
hotel
for
$195.
A
week
and
a
half
later,
no
refund
had
been
received
so
I
called
ten
times
with
no
response
and
only
after
emailing
received
a
call
back
and
a
discovered
no
refund
had
been
issued
after
all.
The
staff
require
further
training
to
understand
that
assurances
of
refunds
should
not
be
made
without
action,
and
that
mistakes
of
this
kind
should
not
occur
at
all.
The
guy
who
committed
to
refunding
today
was
only
in
his
first
week
so
I
hope
this
is
an
indication
that
mistakes
like
this
will
not
occur
again.
Needs
less
to
say,
will
not
be
returning
due
to
the
above
lack
of
care
and
customer
service.
