This place is a absolutely beautiful area. You have the pier with a great kids playground, toilets, bbq’s and tables. Nice big trees provide shaded areas and the beach is right there. There’s also walking trails. The main on The lovers Walk goes the whole way along the coastline. Had a awesome day

Whether you're taking a leisurely stroll, fishing, or simply enjoying the sunset, the pier's charm and beauty create a serene escape that's perfect for relaxation and rejuvenation. A must-visit destination for nature lovers!

Such a beautiful pier! Got up nice and early to walk with my dog and watch the sunrise. So calming and serene at that time of morning. There’s a cute little coffee cart and the coffee is actually delicious! Car park does get pretty full so you might have to find street parking. Lots of people fishing off the pier too, if that’s something you’re into. Definitely will be back.

What an amazing place to come. Plenty of places for the family to chill out! Kids can wade in the water, dogs too! Clean toilets and a range of play areas ambles and swings. Of course there is the prior but it’s busy so if want privacy go early or late. Grab a snack or coffee from the little van!

A lovely place to walk and spend an evening or morning jog. The pier is 350 meters long into the sea thus offering exceptional views. You can find loads of people fishing on either sides of the pier and there are fishing tables and cleaning stations nearer the sea side of the pier. Walking with your dogs is very popular. Parking spaces are limited nearest to the pier but if you like you can park a little before and take the walk. Sea is usually calm and the views are exceptional. There is some smell nearer the cleaning stations and it is a busy pier so if you like a bit of space this may be tight for you. There is space on the beach for kids to run around as well.

Close to the city, very relaxing and family friendly place. The dog park and the main beach are amazing. Had some good seafood restaurants close by within a km. Good place to spend the afternoon on a sunny day. Had good fishing spots, too. Hope to catch the sunset here one day.

People travel the world to enjoy these sorts of piers & we have it right here in Brisbane. It’s a lovely walk and on the day we were there the water was crystal clear, which made it even more enjoyable. There a number of fisher men and women on the jetty on the day although I am not sure to many of them were catching any significant fish. There are tables under cover, seats and plenty of roam to take in the site of the wonderful bay and it’s shoreline.

One of the longest piers in Brisbane. If you would like to recharge your soul and mind, go the Shorncliffe pier and enjoy either the sunrise or the sunset. If you like to fish, enjoy fishing during the first days of the lunar month. Having said that, the chance of catching a legal size fish in this area is incredibly low. During the summer nights, you may spend some hours there enjoying the ocean breeze while you are listening to some music with your beloved one. Unquestionably, it is one of the best free destinations to refresh in Brisbane. Drawbacks of this place include a relatively small parking area compared to the popularity of the place and an unacceptable low level of the public toilets. Overall, it is highly recommended place to visit.

Amazing place for all. Plenty of BBQs, tables, walkways and toilets. Mobility friendly. There's a beautiful large playground and an outdoor shower to wash off. Weekends, public holidays and afternoons can be busy and the parking fills quickly.

Made in 1872, this 350-metre long pier made up of light timber rails and colonial lamps look wonderful. It is a bit far away from the Brisbane city centre but worth a visit. There is a playground nearby and a picnic spot as well. Families spend good quality time, have snacks and lunch etc.

Had a lovely morning walk on Monday with my dirty chai and soaked oats from the pop up van on my penultimate day before returning to the U.K I watched as a skate and a stingray were caught at the end of the Pier. The stingray got away I'm not so sure about the skate shark!! I met two lovely chaps Evan and Connor and we shared the walk to Sandgate, lovely memory

A beautiful spot in Bramble Bay, for a walk, bike ride, bbq, safe beach for the kids and one of the longest piers in Australia. With amazing sunrises

Such a beautiful place to go for a walk with the family. Stunning place to take photos. There are also places to sit and have a BBQ and a massive playground for the kids. Love coming here with the family

We went Shorncliffe Pier for fishing and drove a long distance. It was funny because it has a nice playground near beach and good space for fishing so, all of my family members were very happy and extremely excited. It definitely will be my choice for next time.

The pier on its own is magical, throw in 800+ people, food and drink, lights, chairs, tables, music, fireworks and you have a great venue to host a dinner.

  • 5/5 Katie 3 years ago on Google
One of my fave spots to walk along the foreshore. You can see why from the photos. There's plenty of free parking along the roadside. There are also food & coffee options across the road. I see lots of people fishing along the bank and from the jetty too.

Only in Queensland could you have such a perfect winter's day with families gathering by the sea for bbqs and picnics, fishing off the pier, dog walkers, cyclists and joggers happily sharing the meandering foreshore pathway, toddlers wading on the warm sun drenched beach and the vibe so friendly you felt like never leaving. Too bad we missed the sold out cuppa 'n cannelloni special at the coffee cart, but we made up for it with the best haloumi falafel burgers on the planet at Preece's Cafe on the headland. Top day for sure.

  • 5/5 Sylvia H. 1 year ago on Google
I absolutely loved it! This is the longest jetty at Brisbane and looks very beautiful as it was renovated a few years ago. There is also Lovers’ walk on the left from the jetty, which is about 15 minutes walk.

First place ive been with adequate seating. Lovely spot, kids can swim on the beach. Can walk out on the pier, have a BBQ, toilets. Could use more parking but not really an option without destroying something else.

This pier is a great stroll, especially after they've redone / upgraded the whole pier.

  • 5/5 Tracey R. 3 years ago on Google
Shorncliffe pier is set off the main drag with one way in driving and ample parking. Located and tucked away, this little spot is a great way to start the morning. To find this location, it's under the name ’lower Moore park.’ Plenty of facilities available and covered areas and toilets available and suitable for disability access. The historic pier called ’lovers lane’ has so much personality. It is overlooking the ocean with a beautiful sunrise and sunsets. The council well maintains the area and the local smell of fresh coffee by Marco and his little coffee can ’cocoa biscotti’ made it too tempting not to grab the perfect coffees and treats. Marco’s small business cart is there every morning from 6 am, and Marco was as cheerful and pleasant as the coffee.

We had a great time at Shorncliffe Pier and Park. We wntbro check out the playground and we're no disappointed. A full tree house vibe with bridges in between, made fir aloy of cool imaginative play. Tucked away nicely under big trees and shade canopies, it was nicely shaded which made the play enjoyable as the day was hot. Being able to walk out along the breakwater was fun. We spotted jellyfish in the water and small fish. We ventured around part of the coast line and enjoyed the high tide waves splashing up on the pathway. Lovely spot. Can't wait to come back again to enjoy the beach and walk the length of the Pier.

Raver loved it there, getting prawns from the trawlers and eating them up on the pier. Then followed by chasing fish in the shallows. Jabba "The Mutt" also enjoys the water.

  • 5/5 Roxane M. 7 months ago on Google
Only 30 minutes from home it's a great place to go for a little walk or just chill with a book in the sun! Love that there's a permanent coffee cart at the start of the pier now too. Best time to go us midweek when there's less people around- weekend now have become too crowded for my liking.

  • 5/5 Chandni R. 8 months ago on Google

This is a touch of magic. Beautiful. It is a wide pier that keeps from feeling crowded. Views are spectacular. Toilets and BBQ areas in the park prior to entry onto the pier.

Positives: Areas under shade.. Nice playground for small and big kids.. Bbq area.. Closed bay, so waves at minimum Negative: not best sandy beach

  • 3/5 Eileen H. 10 months ago on Google
Pier was a nice walk, lots of people fishing at low tide. The playgrounds are closed for renovations. The toilets also need a spruce up and thorough cleaning.

  • 5/5 Bharat R. 1 year ago on Google
Very nice place to spend time with friends and family. We have visited the pier for many times for sunset and it is a great place for kids with a nice park for them to be entertained. Visiting here in the evening is very much recommended. Parking space is available, but street parking is not very far from the Pier.

  • 5/5 Llewellyn L. 11 months ago on Google
Been here a few times, most of the time it’s relatively quiet and makes for a nice peaceful walk. Stunning views and plenty of amenities (barbecues, bathrooms, tables, chairs, playgrounds etc…)

A very relaxing evening stroll with my family. Great place with car parking, plenty of seated areas, toilets, bbq areas & scenic views along the pier. Also a good spot for fishing 🎣

  • 4/5 Dandre N. 1 year ago on Google
Gorgeous pier with a wel maintained wooden decking surface suitable for all! Lots of people walking their dogs, taking casual strolls and jogging in the area. Taps available along the length of the pier as well as facilities for cleaning fish. Good place to be for a sunset. The car park was full and had to park in the street which is well within comfortable walking distance. Good place for fishing, but the area does get crowded, especially when the wind picks up. There are toilets available, bit they were in a pretty rough shape when we visited.

Shorncliffe pier is a beautiful to walk along at night it's very romantic with all the lights and you can see across the bay . After a very hot day the beautiful soft sand beach is so nice to have a little swim or even just walk along it's so refreshing and so clean .The trees provide so much shade for the barbecue area. Its a top spot. Remember it's a dog on lead area.
