Had a fairly ordinary experience here. The idea of scanning a QR code to access a site to order your meal is neat but the system needs work. The website was slow, and we're required to enter our table numbers ourselves which could easily be added into the functionality of the code. There is something a little more personal about having a waiter take your order however In terms of actual service, food came reasonably quickly. The photo is of the Quattro, a summer special loaded Parma, the chips were okay, the salad was great, the chicken was a little dry. Good enough but not an experience I'd go out of my way for

We tried The Sporting Globe Bar in Chermside out today. Firstly we were greeted by the friendly and helpful Ellie, made us feel so welcome. We shared the All Star platter and the half rack ribs. The chicken wings were nice and crispy, the onion rings were really tasty and the calamari was tender and done to perfection. The ribs were soft and juicy and the sauce was sweet and tasty! So, great service, great food, five stars for you friends!! The rooftop deck and bar was closed but we'd love to come back to check that out. Thank you for a relaxing, tasty and welcoming night out, we appreciate it!

My partner and I started coming here every Monday for the cheap chicken wings, but became regulars for the amazing service and hospitality that Lily, Ripley and Sean and the rest of the staff bring to the place. They are the friendliest and most professional employees I've ever come across at a bar. Always in for a good talk, menu recommendations and of course their outstanding service.

Great food and selection of drinks! The hospitality from bar staff Ethan and Valentina was the stand out, they provided helpful insights into the various beverages on offer and were very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be coming back!

Great service from the staff everytime I dine in. The food is always tasty and piping hot when served. Daily deals keeps me considering this location each time I am looking to dine out. The chicken parma are tasty though for me, its a little small. Great place to hang out with friends and family to chill out

Stopped by to enjoy a feed and watch the Matildas vs Canada. Atmosphere was great with other fellow Aussies cheering on The Matildas. Food was also of good quality; the steak was cooked to my liking. The service was okay, the staff seemed a little disinterested in the patrons.

We were there to eat lunch and understood it was the mayday public holiday so a 10% surcharge would be added & we’re happy to pay this. We waited nearly 2 hours for our order of 12 bbq & 12 buffalo wings to come out but the order was missing a mvp Parma & side of ranch which did not come. 2.5 hours after ordering the staff member was rude when we mentioned our meal was still missing and if we could get it in a takeway box instead. Poor service & disappointing food.

We sat at a table and shortly realised there was soft drink split on it awhile ago and it had dried, the high chair we were provided was broken so our baby couldn’t be safely strapped in. We paid just over $40 for a bowl of chips, a tiny serving of cauliflower bites (one of very few meatless options), a sprite and a corona. The guys Servín be were friendly and nice but not very helpful (I had to go looking for them to get table wiped down, request a high chair even though I was carrying a baby etc) We were just popping in for a quick bite, wouldn’t recommend.

Best place to come for a good lunch feed, the staff here are always really nice and helpful. They went out of their way to go to the shops to get raspberry syrup for my lemonade when I asked if I could have a raspberry lemonade. Not only that but the food is great, best time to come is for lunch as Monday to Wednesday is $13.90 lunch. I have been coming most weeks for lunch as a treat and it never disappoints.

Once again, the people serving make for a brilliant experience. The waiter Ethan brings so much fun while being extremely accommodating and entertaining mean while being served at the bar by Max is also a great experience. Despite a busy environment he is accommodating and quick. Good food, good service and overall a great experience.

The most surprising thing about here is how amazing their customer service was. And the punter on that day, inside were so lovely to us. We had a little baby and the staff came to say hello. The food and drink are always consistently good. We had the mozerrall stick and buffalo wing with a beer and cocktail and if they were hot, tasty and well priced. Love this place. So glad there a pub put front again.

I had the nourish bowl with chicken & it was amazing!! I was so surprised it had alot of flavor & the serving size was generous i couldn't finish it. Drink specials were great, music was on point. The customer service was very good there was a pregnant lady working there doing a great job. I've been to the loganholme venue but Chermside definitely tops that!

I have seen a lot of bad reviews for ribs. In my opinion, they were fantastic. A tad expensive by the end of the night, but.. you get what you pay for! We have been here twice now. We can confidently say, it's far better when Nonna's "Italian" next door isn't blasting their ridiculously loud music. For what? No one dancing. Enough about that. This place has a wide range of options, all which are beautifully presented! Proactive staff, certainly not a moment where I felt like I could not receive some help.

I went here for a lunch date before seeing a movie, honestly it's a decent place to meet and hang. The burger prices were fairly expensive considering their size though. Their gluten free options were quite extensive, so there wasn't any issue finding something to eat there. I wish they didn't skimp out on the chips, but the food was fresh and very tasty. I would come here again.

Went here for pokémon trivia which was pretty good. The drinks were decently priced but all fairly weak in strength. Received two emails about the event with two different start times so i went with the recent email and was told at the door that it was the wrong time?? Food came quickly but drinks took a while with one of mine in a glass jar having a chip on the top with glass coming off in my hand! Service was overall friendly but staff clearly needed more training as we received at least 3 wrong orders. Would go again just for the drink prices and trivia but wouldn’t expect much more.

We hosted our company EOFY event at The Sporting Globe Chermside and were very pleased with the professional, friendly and fast service we experienced. We were we a big group of 50 and orders came out on time and without errors. Highly recommend! Great work, team!

Definitely one of my favourite places to eat!! Foods great, always good energy and vibes. If you don't know what to eat I highly reccomend the touchdown chicken wrap and sub out chips for onion rings! Service can sometimes be a little lack luster but food is always great and comes out quick! Definitely worth 5 stars

We came in late. Appreciated staff accomodating us to have late dinner. A bit of issue with the food but the lady manager and Zac were great to rectify the issue. Food was great. Ambiance was fantastic.

Probably one of the worst dinning experience we have ever had . Firstly you could not communicate with anyone volume was so loud from screens The food well I ordered the Champion burger and it was dripping in fat as obviously a cheap burger meat mix the streaky bacon was barely cooked ,my wife had the steak that was below average. The salt was all stuck together in all the despensers and I removed the lid on one and absolutely disgusting see pictures. The service and food was dismal. We will not be back ,not once we're we even asked if meal was alright. Poor food poor service and not an enjoyable sit in experience please beware

I was a regular customer here, the Buddha bowls are usually top notch. Tonight it came out smaller than usual with a smidge of dressing. I got through half of it, but needed more dressing as quite dry, asked the waiter for some more, straight up said yea but you have to pay.. I literally needed a teaspoon of it yet he refused to budge. Paid $62 for two meals and two drinks, I don't think a teaspoon of dressing is too much to ask.. BTW, first time I've ever posted a review, attitude of this guy was enough to put me off ever going back.

We were there on a Saturday night after having dinner at a local restaurant. We arrived just in time to be told they were closing. Last drinks and it was 9.30pm! Staff were nice. Apart from early closing I do like this venue. Awesome, of course, for any big sporting event.

First time dining here and it will be the last. I called at the beginning of the week to make a booking for a large group for dinner and it all went through (so I thought). Come the day of our booking I rang 5 hours ahead to confirm, gave my name and time and they happily confirmed with me my booking was good to go. When we got there, we stood and waited for a while with our group of 12. There were bartenders at the bar and multiple staff that walked past and none of them gave the courtesy to at least let us know that someone will be with us soon (it didn’t look that busy). Finally when someone came to serve us we were told that there was no booking made. Before I could rip into this worker, who was the person I had spoken to on the phone twice I’m pretty sure, another staff member came to his rescue and saved him by putting us on a table. We did have to wait for them to arrange this though which was frustrating. Once we were given a table, we noticed they were dirty and we had to ask multiple times to get them wiped down after we were seated. There were no issues with the food and the staff member who put us on a table did do her best to accomodate our big group so props to her. The food and wait time was ok even though we were told it would be a 30min wait however, the customer service needs to be better. Much better.

It was a while ago last time I had such and amazing experience as I had today. Staff was very friendly, helpful and smiling all the time. The food was absolutely incredible, I had a burger with chips, mac and cheese croquettes and drinks. I am already planning my next visit to try the ribs. Good job everyone here.

Went to get a half price steak on a Tuesday as I have been for many years. Went to pay and the staff member didn’t tell me they changed it to only the rump steak as I was ordering a rib eye, which I think they should tell there customers when the deal has changed within 2 weeks. Food and drinks overall are nice just over priced for what it is. Definitely worth checking out on one of for there deals

High prices for low quality, burnt chicken that took an hour to arrive. Complained on uber eats and no response. Pathetic that someone thought this was acceptable to serve to customer

Great local venue! The hostest with the mostest is Rodney, he's the man! Only gripe is they serve beer from room temperature glasses...cold ones would be way better.

We were here for the super bowl, the atmosphere was great. The team at the sporting globe Chermside really took good care of us, especially Erina, Emma and Jade. Victoria was an amazing host sad to see her leaving the globe!! :(

Great layout and venue for watching sports. Bar is a bit hectic when busy as staff often need to collect TAB tickets and forget they took drink orders fro you and serve someone else. Table service with the QR code is okay - a little slow if you just want to get one or two orders in but might be something to invest in becoming a member or having a pre-set QR code for repeat orders etc. Toilets aren't fantastic especially when busy. Overall, would say it's great for watching sports and a few drinks.

Great food, had the $1 wings for international wings day. Loved the sporting vibe. Service really lets this place down. We had finished, dirty dishes sitting at our table for a good half an hour before anyone bothered to come pick them up. Then only grabbed half and the others were left sitting for a further 15 minutes.

Ordered my food at 7:13pm. Still had not arrived by 8:20pm. When I asked about my meal. Was informed of a large party booked upstairs was the result of the slowness. But no-one explained this earlier. Two friends had steaks worth $40 delivered cold to the table. Some guest had finished their meals before mine had arrived. The place is what it says it is. SPORTS BAR. But I ended up cancelling the meal. At 8.25pm. One waitress offered apologies. While asking for a refund. They supplied my meal free of charge in a take away bag. The thing is I did not order at a takeaway restaurant. Food was cold when I came home. Not very happy. Would have been better to supply a free voucher. Will not recommend this place. As I could not eat the food.

I spent a few hours on a Saturday afternoon enjoying NRL and AFL games on one of the many large screens around the main bar area. The booths each have a smaller screen within. The Sporting Globe has a good range of beer and other drinks.Ordering food and drinks was easy, all done through thier App, place the order, pay and it arrives very soon afterwards. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Recently had our engagement party at Chermside Sporting Globe and it was honestly one of the best nights. I cannot thank Rodney and Katie enough for how much they went above and beyond to make our night amazing. The food was delicious, the space was perfect and all the staff were incredible. 10000000% recommend having a function here! The whole process was so easy from start to finish. Could not recommend enough!

Absolutely love the food, service and atmosphere here. Sporting globe has been a favourite of mine for a while now due to the simple fact that they get these 3 things right. Booked a table for my son and I to enjoy dinner for his birthday last night and as usual a great experience. All the staff were fantastic even the guy at the bar who served me and was obviously still very new to the job (as a venue manager myself I thought he did very well).

Awesome venue...even during covid! Abit pricey, but atmosphere makes up for it...go with a crowd, so the "shouted round" doesn't hurt as much the next day like the headache🤪

We had the worst experience, two cocktails tasted like cordial and were undrinkable. Three meals (honey soy chicken bites, pulled pork and chicken parmigiana) tasted so sweet it felt they poured several teaspoons of sugar in the meal. Again, no one finished their meal. Unfortunately, we won't be back, and wasted $200, should have just gone to KFC.
