As a woman I was uncomfortable here and didn’t feel especially safe. I’d requested my partner book us AT the airport and the Trade Coast (formerly the Pinkenba Pub) is 15 minutes drive away. There’s no way this is a 4.2 star hotel as advertised. None of the rooms have ensuites, instead there’s shared bathrooms down the corridor, and although I was advised I was the only female guest they’d had in a while, it was apparent that others were using the women’s bathroom by the large wet footprints. Being given only 1 room key made it difficult for us to shower at the same time. The rooms are up 2 flights of stairs, and there’s no elevator - if like me you have mobility issues, lugging heavy suitcases up and down isn’t much fun. No toiletries were supplied. I’d packed an overnight bag with just my next day’s clothes and a toothbrush in expectation of an ensuite and basic toiletries. Not having packed pyjamas it was annoying to have to get fully dressed to run to the loo in the middle of the night. As a FIFO / tradie pub it’s perfectly fine, just not what I was expecting. The rooms are a good size if you’re traveling on your own, it was clean and the basics were covered. It’s clearly set up as single men’s quarters. There’s only 1 cup 1 teabag etc, only 2 pillows. The bed was wedged tightly against one wall with the door opening immediately on the other side (no space for a bedside table, and nowhere to be out of view while opening the door). At half the price of the airport Ibis I can see why some find it attractive. The staff were very friendly and John the lovely courtesy bus driver went out of his way to make sure we got a meal after our flight was delayed. With the kitchen closing at 8pm, he had a menu on hand and phoned through our order. The food was tasty, well presented and a hearty serving. Take earplugs, it’s located between the airport tarmac and a busy main road. It’s a step up from some (not all) mining camps I’ve stayed at, but it was not what I was anticipating. This hotel is NOT at the airport even though it comes up when you search ‘airport hotel’.

Been multiple times for the lunch special that used to include a pot of beer. They've since dropped that and kept the cost the same. While I understand covid this, food costs that, it just makes it more money than what I want to spend on a work lunch. Food and service is nice though, it just doesn't feel like good value anymore.

They done a great job doing the place up but they haven't gone far enough. Need ensuite facilities and a permanent night manager. If done right, the place could be suitable for travellers from the Cruise Terminal. They have a suitable vehicle to do transfers. Money for jam with the correct staff and management 👌

We only accessed the bar area so not sure about all the room & service questions. It is mostly visited by truck drives & tradies but we thoroughly enjoy our visit. Due to the new International Brisbane Port being moved to Pinkenbar it was closest option for quick lunch & meeting with people on cruise ship. The service & food was the best I've had in a bar environment. I've heard they've renovated lately & it looks clean, modern & presentable. The Head Chief came out to make sure meals were up to standard & we asked him for cards to promote the hotel to others on cruise ship as hotel supplies shuttle to & from cruise terminal to hotel for those wishing a visit for a cold drink & delicious food. Go have a try I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself.

Good food and drink.options. Well priced for both and some excellent food promos during the week. Refurbished and now modern pub. Handy for cruise ship departures as is a $15 uber ride from the port. Hotel rooms currently closed.

Signs need to be available to know where the restaurant is. Food is yummy, and I got the spaghetti bol made with wagu... omg yummy! I get it every Friday on my lunch break, and they are lovingly pushed my lunch to be made asap due to only a 30-minute lunch break, and they get it done in under 10min. I highly recommend this place for dinner. Great staff and always welcoming

For a an exceptional taste experience of extraordinarily good value on Brisbane's northside, you can't go past the Bistro at the Trade Coast Hotel at Pinkenba. The chef offers very diverse options in his menu, simply prepared to surprise and delight. It's well worth the 8 minute drive past the Brekky Creek to come here - the decore is as big a surprise as the taste experience. Pinkenba is unique - a friendly county village 10 minutes from the CBD, an absolutely relaxing gem. If you want to remind yourself how good a friendly county pub experience can be, come to Pinkenba's Trade Coast bistro.

Food its very good .. specially if u go for the lunch special …reason for my 3 star is that on a Friday there’s a particular waitress which seems to be having a bad day every time we dine there …

Very good service, didn't have to wait long to get service at the bar. With the number of people on the day trip it didn't take all that long for our meals to be served.

Delicious food served in lovely surroundings, with a soothing water feature outside and a massive pizza oven within. Friendly and efficient service. Sufficient parking available. Bistro looks like a good place for a wedding reception.

Talk about a diamond in the rough, this pub is about 6 klm from Brisbane's new Cruise Ship Terminal situated near nothing but the airport and industrial area. International visitors on Cruises will be very disappointed with first impressions of Brisbane, it will do little for city tourism when charged to bus to the City, think how good Sydney is and even Port Melbourne has some character. Good pub though with good service and food.

We sat there for 45 minutes waiting for our lunch and after we questioned the girl behind the bar as to where our meals were she came back and said the kitchen hasn't received our orders and we can either wait for them to do them or a refund. No apologies were given to us so we took the refund and got the hell outa dodge. I will never go back to that place again

The service and food were awesome. Highly recommend the Texan Parmi and the Ribs. We also had the caesar salad and the Myrtletown Burger. Both were delicious. A great beer selection as well as a beautiful setting to enjoy your meal. Highly recommend this place 👌

I understand that most pubs need to have pokies, and this place does too, but they are not "in your face ". Very neat well presented place with a cool history, being the old port of pinkenba n'all. Staff are xclnt too.

We visited the restaurant at dinner time. There was a stunning wood fire pizza oven. We ordered pork, pizza and fish and chips. All superbly cooked and very delicious. The staff were all very friendly, professional and supportive. We definitely enjoyed the meals and time there. Also, very clean and tidy. Enjoyable space. When we have international guests, this is the place we bring them as this hotel is close to the airport. We had a wonderful experience there. We hope to visit there again near future. Thank you very much.

What a great pub!! We had lunch there today with a group of 40 mad motorcyclists. Very happy with our choice. Staff are so friendly, food was excellent, and came out fast. The decor was great too. The Queensland Boulevard Riders all had a great time and we will definitely be going back there again soon. A big thank you to all the Staff.
