Such a lovely place. The plantarium is adorable, nice staff and we loved the variety of options for breakfast. The coffee was really good!

A warm, comforting and positive experience. The books that were available to browse whilst sipping a delicious and very well priced coffee were both intellectually challenging and inspiring. The workers were attentive to all our needs and presented themselves with enthusiasm and kindness. Hands down one of the best cafes in New Farm.

I’ve been to this cafe twice since they moved to Merthyr Rd and both were incredibly disappointing and frustrating experiences. Both were incredibly slow: a takeaway tea took 40 minutes to make on one occasion (only one person was in front of us) and they forgot the second tea that was ordered. After all that, the tea leaves were burnt and tasted awful. They also made a coffee for a friend/colleague who popped in, ahead of paying customers - a big faux pau! The other I visited the coffee was equally slow and not as ordered (extra hot came out as luke warm). Dismal! I’m sure they are nice people but if you don’t have all day for ordinary coffee/tea then try another cafe nearby.

Mushroom sausage is a bit simpler than I expected. Will be back to try other options on menu. I went early, so the atmosphere was quite & cozy.

Nice cafe, cute outdoor area, dog friendly. Food was good. I wouldn’t call it relaxing as it was quite noisy due to being busy. I’d go again for takeaway coffees but not eat in.

Great little cafe. The team are always friendly and each time I visit I feel nourished by their positivity and kindness ,and of course the fabulous coffee!! They recently changed to Brissy roaster Almanac, which is a true speciality coffee and tastes absolutely delicious.

Very cute and cosy cafe with a lovely little selection of plants, pots and other goods for sale. Coffee is good, but food is limited. Service can be on the slower side, but it’s a lovely place to catch up for coffee.

This place is a hidden gem of new farm. Fresh health food. The service was great. They forgot our drinks however when reminded they did everything they could to correct the issue. Couldn’t ask for better services. They also allow dogs

Coffee is rich and finishes superbly. Food is a delight for the taste buds. Try the avocado on seeded grain bread you will be surprised how good this tastes.

Yikes. I rarely write bad reviews on here but this was such a sad experience. I like to think the barista was just having an off-day (bad mood and bad coffee) but this has really upset me. I have wanted to try this place for so long, as the menu seems very different! Lions mane, blue spirulina etc. Spontaneously dropping in for a dirty chai has resulted in my decision to never return. The chai flavour was nonexistent, I got a double shot yet could not taste anything but almost-cold milk. When I ordered and asked the Barista how their day was, they did NOT want to return my smile. I get it. But this unwelcoming atmosphere paired with bad coffee? (it was also $6.50 for a small with extra shot)… not good.

Great array of vegan pastries and savoury foods that taste as good as they look. I would recommend trying an adaptogenic hot chocolate, subtle ginger taste with amazing healing properties. Such a beautiful and peaceful environment to sit and have a coffee with the most lovely staff.

Wow - what a find! And in the heart of New Farm. The atmosphere Ground Alchemy is the best - super welcoming and relaxed. The staff are friendly and I felt welcomed as soon as I entered. Also now I know the time and effort that goes into creating the food, which is medicinal and includes all the goodness of superfoods, I will be going back for sure. And they have THE BEST COFFEE. If I could give them 6 stars, I would. Check it out for yourself.

My favourite of all cafes that I’ve ever experienced, such welcoming and kind hearted staff, and top of the line coffee. The food is also insanely good, and they provide for all dietary requirements. 11/10! If you live nearby, this should be your local !

$15 for a ridiculously small (and old) piece of carrot cake. Ordered 2 cocoa smoothies and they were just watery with ice cubes inside (I don’t know why they also tasted different). Nice ambiance with plants outside but… won’t be back.
