The best bar in the area. It has a great chilled atmosphere, excellent selection of beers, and decent enough bar food menu. I liked that they had a few options of zero alcohol beer. It would’ve been good to see more healthy food options on the menu though.

Great selection of craft beers including locals. Snack menu is fantastic. Service is friendly. Definitely a place I'll visit again.

Great bar with delicious food! We ordered a few different items off the menu and we weren’t disappointed. This is a great place for a group of people as there is heaps of bigger table options, heaps of street parking and easy to get to. Love it!

Wow is all i can say! Staff chef Liz and Georgia are awesome. Pizza: Greek lamb is the best one i have had in a long time. Just moved to the area and I think this will be our new hang out... Thanks guys!

Quick summary is if you'd like to meet your friends out for a drink, I'd go to a tavern instead for better prices. If your a vegan meeting a non vegan ( why I thought it would be good) maybe go to a Mexican joint? Good vegan food and drinks. If someone asks to meet you here because they genuinely like it, expect to pay $26 minimum for one drink and the cheapest side dish or go during happy hour ! Finishes at 6. They do have parking as a bonus. I would describe my experience here as force enjoyment as I encounter multiple upsetting moments. My first explanation for my rating would be from the lack of food and drink options. I guess this is advertised as a bar so can't complain to much about the food, however the only main meals were pizzas and the sides were $14 each. The vegan options were more common on there online menu and the green salsa with corn chips was quite unpleasant. Not much flavour, not much moisture 😬 the cocktail menu was little and after getting 2 sides and a cocktail my total came to $51. The saviour of this place was the atmosphere felt good and the workers seemed to feel this good atmosphere too being very friendly and honest. It was a bit confusing with the waving them down for attention because of course workers are suppose to keep busy and they couldn't see us waving sometimes. A better system for such would help them out.

Their cocktails are very good. I'm always happy to come back to this place anytime. The staff are very friendly as usual. Recommend to anyone who likes drinks and hanging out with family and friends

This place is pretty gnarly. Great food, solid choice of beers on tap (I had a vanilla ice cream one! 😍) and the trivia night was a cosy little one! Full - house and loads of fun! Will defs be going back!

I have been wanting to try this bar for years and finally went on Thursday night. First off - Loved the modern atmosphere, service was friendly and quick; however, and regretfully, the food was mediocre. We just got a bunch of share and side plates, given that they dont do meals, which is completely fine! I tend to prefer "grazing" food. Anyway, the squid was quite good, but the mac and cheese was floury and flavourless, the garlic bread was basically woollies garlic bread with weird cheese on top and the waffle chips were okay, but not enough sauce to go around. Drinks weren't the best either. The house rose was pretty tarte and had that cheap wine taste, but was $12 a glass. I also had a weird cocktail that had nutmeg on top, it wasn't bad but it sure was strange. I'm glad I went, but probably won't be back. There are better options out there.

I was here with a friend for dinner. The food was incredible. In essence it was a taste of Canada. The drinks menus is also quite extensive, there is a large range of spirits and beers that accounts for everyone. The highlight of the night was when Lizzie the head chef came out and checked on the meal and how we were enjoying the night. This was fantastic. The only downside is the booth seats are a little squishy, but bearable. Overall a great night, great food and fantastic service. I would definitely recommend a visit.

The bar staff were so great, really friendly - down to earth and super helpful. The venue feels cool and comfy really relaxed and easy. I went there with a friend and we were both super impressed - 100% will go back.

Great little bar and restaurant. The food was great, the beer selection was sensational. I would recommend this place if you enjoy beer and good but simple food. If you cannot find a beer that you like on that menu you need to take a long hard look at yourself.

Brilliant GF and DF menu!! The chef was so accommodating and came and checked ingredients with me! Bar staff were friendly and cocktails delicious! FYI, table layout is unique... good for big groups, not so much intimate couples night as you're sharing a table with others.

Had to leave a review of this place. Had some amazing chats with the Canadian chef and the staff are incredibly approachable and friendly. The food was so lovely and worth every cent. We will be coming back! So good!

Husband and I came here for dinner as we wanted to try some of the dishes on the menu as we have both been to canada and loved the food over there and although we kept our expections in check overall it wasn't too bad. The venu was a lot smaller than we originally thought but had a cosy bar feel, I wouldn't recommend coming here for a meal though, it's probably more a great place to stop and have some drinks and finger food if your in the area. All the food had some nice flavours and tasted pretty fresh although a small bowl of poutine will set you back $20 so the prices are a bit steep. Glad we tried somewhere new but we wouldn't rush back. The only other criticism I would have was that the cushioned booth seats were very small/ narrow and uncomfortable. They have plenty of other places to sit however.

Sasquatch is a wonderful and relaxed place for food and drinks. The menu has a nice selection of foods to cater to most. The drinks are varied with lots of local selections and changing tap crafts. The vibe is very natural and the owners are lovely. It just feels like your grounded local hangout.

One of my favourite places to go for a great drink, great food and relaxed atmosphere. Very cool venue and decor, staff is always very friendly and happy to recommend drinks (of which they have a great selection), and even the more basic drinks are exceptionally good. Chicken wings and waffle fries are always a win, and the rest of the food is always delicious. Thanks for the consistently great experience!!

Brilliant. Best cocktails I've had north side and the food was just scrumptious. Add the staffs lovely demeanour on top and this and you have a handly underrated local spot. Treat yourself and go!

Lovely oasis in the busy, noisy heart of Chermside. Great choice of beers (needs more German style darker beers though); wine choices limited but ok with some really nice wines; cocktails great but far, far too expensive. Interior is pleasant with painted wall of 'Sasquatch' - a.k.a. "Bigfoot". Long tables and the style of the place seem to attract a younger crowd. Our party are all in our 60s and ft quite comfortable there, though. The music choices weren't the best for us; however it was at a reasonable volume so we could still talk easily. The staff were friendly and service good. No faults there. Food is superb! Our table shared 5 tapas-style dishes and this was enough food for us as the portion sizes are larger than tapas. 4 of the dishes were excellent 👌. The 5th, a 'piroghi' style dish was spoilt with cheese and bacon but that's probably the Canadian take on the dish. (One of our party is Russian so knows how these dumpling-like foods should taste). In comparison, the Asian-styled dumplings were truly yummy. We travelled from southside, about 45 minutes, to try Sasquatch. Will certainly be back if we're ever in the area.

Oh My God.... you just have to try Sasquatch Bar. I have come from over an hours drive away to try the food, beer and wine. Thank you Lizzy our Chef and Daisy who served us. You are 💯 ❤️ 👌 😍 the absolute best! I have serious allergies and Lizzy was so lovely. With loads of experience and knowledge, she came to our table and made sure I was safe with each of the food items we ordered. She went out of her way and I felt confident to relax and eat knowing I was safe in her hands. It's always so busy and hard to get a table at Sasquatch Bar because everyone here knows how good you all are... we will be back! Delicious meals...and safe for me (which isn't often the case). You are appreciated and we think you are wonderful! Thank you from each of us...and our full bellies and happy taste buds! See you soon! Ah..we have no photo's of the food...we ate it all!

Very yummy. The food, drinks and service were of high quality. I was dying from cancer and was worried that my pedestrian death would stop me from entering Valhalla but one of the bartenders was kind enough to fight me to the death so that I could earn a warrior’s end.

Awesome food, friendly staff. Ready to share food items, so be prepared to share, rather than have an individual meal. The Gluten free pizzas are marvellous!! The entrance is on Gympie Rd, but parking is out back on side streets. If access is an issue, you'll need to go around the front. (So maybe drop first, then park?) Great for older families, not as good if you have kids under 8, imo. (Based on seating& kids' needs, not food) Really enjoyed our dinner. We'll be back.
