What a wonderful find. Classic outback pub/industrial feel, with a small but delicious menu and huge range of beers on tap. Went in for lunch and will definitely be going back, good was fresh, fast and tasty. Staff are lovely and friendly as well.

Immerse yourself in the memorabilia from the days of yesteryear.. have a cold beer from the excellent selection of taps that they have on offer. Great food and well priced. I travel from Cornubia to get my counter lunch fixes. Chef is talented. Last feed was pork belly with mash and veg. Massive! And awesome. Nice cold beers too. Chicken schnitzel is also fabulous.

Friendly service. Great food, tasty and value-wise. Enjoyed a few songs. Will definitely be back for another Sunday Session and to hear some more music while trying out the beers available

First time trying out the Monte Ale House - seriously great lunch meals! Fantastic service from the lovely bar lady and had the best value $10 lunch steak cooked to medium-rare perfection (no blood sauce meaning the chef took the time to rest the meat). Highly recommended, we will definitely be back very soon!

Great place to relax ,the staff are great people, very relaxed and join in on conversation, makes everyone feel welcome The boss is a lucky guy to have them all.

Lovely lunch with great service. We had a steak, salad and chips special and it was a large portion meal fresh and delicious.

We went to the Monte for a feed in May and it was below average. Thought we would try again hearing some recent good feedback and omg what a difference. All our meals were absolutely amazing!!! I will not be waiting so long to come back. Great food, friendly staff, nice laid back atmosphere.

Generous portions. Steak cooked to perfection. Normally I don't comment about the salad some reason the dressing is super nice.

Nice little hidden gem, blast from the past decore with lots of interesting items creating a cozy and wonderful atmosphere. A wide range of beers on tap to choose from I didn't have time to try them all but I'll try harder next time. Chef was not available the day I visited but the friendly manager said they would soon be hiring a chef who can work weekends aswell. Some rockin tunes playin also helps to set a chill vibe. Do recommend 👌

I was confused, verging on nervous, as the uber turned into the massive industrial estate that occupies most of the suburb of Springwood, because I don't usually associate birthday parties (like the one I was attending) with industrial estates. That, it turns out though, is an artifact of my sheltered upbringing - the Monte Ale House is amazing. Amidst the drab concrete and brick exteriors of endless brake and tire shops, fitters and mechanics it sits, an oasis in the desert of industry. They've great, inexpensive drinks, delicious food, and the staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. They have now become my new gold standard for pubs, and my only regret is that I'm not an alcoholic - you can't bottle waffling on like a pretentious jerk, so they can't serve my primary addiction.
