Situated on Logan Road at Eight Mile Plains and very close to the Logan Motorway. We were a large party of 17. No table service so you head to tje bar for drinks or order from the QR code. Drinks and food arrived very quickly after being ordered via the app so this worked well. This pub has a pizzeria, ice cream parlour, coffee shop and a kids playground so lots to offer. The food overall was good. There is a service fee for public holidays which is fine with us and it was clearly published throughout the venue so no nasty surprises. Overall was a great place especially for families.

This venue makes for an excellent meeting place for leisure or business. Country setting in the daily hustle. There are different rooms on the restaurant side, so you can choose between a patio setting or maybe something a little more formal inside. Service is great. The restaurant is well kept and tidy. There is also the hotel on the opposite side. Great venue for a Sunday lunch or just a cup of tea and catch up.

I don’t usually have breakfast at The Glen , usually it just a coffee and that’s because it’s always consistent, and staff are happy 😊 who isn’t in the morning, my favourite time. Anyway getting back to my breakfast I loved it a big breakfast poached eggs perfect 👍 bacon 🥓 crisp, sourdough buttered ✅, beans herbs in a bowl, little potato cakes, cherry tomatoes blistered yummy , sausage and mushroom a flat cooked to how I just love it yum 🤤 Hence I’m back today. Thanks to everyone. Coffee amazing as usual. The Glen has great amenities and is looking outstanding.

I’m not normally one to complain and I always enjoy myself but cutting off a 55 year old lady from drinking for no reason and if I don’t drink your glass of water I’m getting you removed from the premises. Look around little power head kid you have no customers. It used to be a good no problem bar my kid has worked at now they just power head little upstarts. Good luck keeping your job if no customers girl.

Spacious surroundings nicely adorned with greenery, a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere. Made very welcome by the staff. Great service, meals all arrived together. Able to split bill on our table. Wheelchair accessibility. Plenty of parking. Love this place, have been quite a few times now.

Had lunch with the family here , everything was good. No issues at all. Prices have gone up, but the quality has gone up with it as well. I had the roasted cauliflower salad which was nice. Photo attached of the salad. Also tried the salmon and avocado pizza on a gluten free base and it was good. Many GF bases are lacking flavour and or texture but the one I tried was very nice.

We dined at the Lily restaurant for New Year’s Eve and we had the most amazing time! Staff were great, the manager on duty spoke to us and welcomed us as it was our first time. We enjoyed the food, the portions for desserts were massive. We left stuffed, will definitely go back. 💖

The meals we had were very good. But what I appreciated was that the music was turned down when I asked. With hearing aids, background music is very noisy. I look forward to the day when background music is banned in pubs and clubs. Loud music stops conversation and encourages drinking. The air conditioning was working well, too. Thanks

Staff super friendly and helpful. Decided to go straight after work on a Tues & it was $22 pizza night. Ordered a couple of pizza's & they were delicious! Some of the best I've tasted in a while! (Got the beef brisket one & a veg pesto one, would highly recommend 👍) Even though they were busy the meals came out reasonably quick. We'll probably head back next Tues night 😊

Glen Hotel is a fantastic establishment. Can always find a great feed here. It's a good location to catch up with friends or family due to its proximity to the southside suburbs, as we'll as a good vibe. It's worth ringing to book if you're trying to get a table on a Friday night or weekend as they're always super busy.

Great space for families with young kids to catch up if you can book a table near the outdoor play space. Food is good. I love the pizza and the side of greens. They do need some better cocktails however. Get a cocktail bar/specialist bar tender for the weekends and it’d be perfect.

We love it here. One of the very few places which has a decent play area for the kids next to a covered dining area, where you can easily observe and access your kids while they are playing. Great coffee, fast service, particularly great granola and plenty of parking spots.

We had an enjoyable lunch on a busy Sunday. The service was excellent, prompt and staff knowledgeable. The food portions were generous and meat cook as requested. Very pleasant atmosphere and air conditioning worked well on a hot day. I will definitely be returning.

Thanks, we had a great night. The staff where great and very accommodating, so cheers to them. It was very nice in the Lilly room. The only thing that was a downer was one of the guests didn’t enjoy her Gnocchi and she eats it a lot, she said it wasn’t very nice and also it did come out before our garlic breads, a main shouldn’t come out before your appetisers . Just something to look at for you guys. But overall a wonderful night was had by all. Please pass onto your staff what a great job they did. Thanks

This was a fantastic place to eat! The pizzas are fantastic and the food came out really quickly. There's a great playground for the kids and the atmosphere was warm and casual. My son absolutely loved the ice cream choices too. We will definitely be back.

Great place, friendly and engaging staff all around. Yummy food and the ambiance is relaxed, inviting and a visual treat. The Glen Hotel has a rich family owned history with plenty of passion lead from the front. Congratulations to all.

Been there couple of times before and was nice but yesterday we booked in the Lily room and was beautiful! More like a restaurant than a pub… table service, good table and lovely atmosphere. Pizza is the best and pizzachef Alessandro is amazing! One of the best pizzas in Brisbane (I’m Italian so trust me!) Will be back soon to try the breakfast menu! I’m so curious!

There were 11 friends to diner on Friday night at the Lily Restaurant. The food was very good and enjoyed by all. The service from the young waitress that served our table was excellent. Not only was she efficient and polite but she also had a great personality and was easily able to engage with each of us. I will return to the Glen and certainly recommend to friends.

I had the most amazing experience at The Glen tonight. My first time dining and went with a group of 15 friends, I had the porkbelly cooked twice dish... it was sensational. I also had a gelato afterwords and it too was great. The young waitress on tonight did an amazing job, very hospitable and lovely. Loved everything about it... was very busy but we all had our meals quite quickly after ordering.

Tuesday night wood fired pizzas sitting outside in the court yard. Lovely ambience. Was not too crowded (probably because it was cold). Food came out promptly. Did not use the rooms but the venue was clean, tidy and well presented.

We enjoyed the evening of the 160th birthday of the Glen Hotel. Service was excellent! Tamika (Mika) made us feel very special with her comments and constantly remembering our names. She was a joy! Food was lovely - all 3 of us had pizzas. Very fresh and tasty. To top it all off, as it was a special occasion for the Glen, there were even fireworks to finish the evening with. Very enjoyable night!

Came here for dinner, great food and service, I had the rump steak which was good quality meat, cooked perfectly (med rare) with nice charring on outside. Chips were great, mushrooms sauce was fairly good. Salt & pepper calamari was fresh, tender and perfectly cooked. Also a nice spacious venue with a good atmosphere . . . Definitely recommend this place!!!

Really sad to write this review. I wanted to write a positive review as the staff I spoke to were lovely, my toddler had the best time on the playground, and I really enjoyed the giant soft pretzel special! However both my husband and I ended up with food poisoning. My husband had the King prawns (I spat one out as it tasted more like egg than seafood), and had his first signs of food poisoning before we'd fully left the carpark. I had mostly pretzels and potato salad (knowing my stomach is more sensitive), and one piece of pork belly, and ended up vomiting at home. I also noticed a hair or something on one of the prawns, and there was some weird piece of fish or something on the pulled pork plate with the gravy that definitely wasn't part of the dish. Really disappointed after spending over $100 on dinner to not even be able to keep it down. I contacted you as your reply requested, and am entirely disappointed with the response. Absolutely no remorse was shown nor responsibility taken, only self-defence and denial, regardless of the facts (I repeat, there were unidentifiable items visibly present on the food). We will absolutely not be returning to this establishment, and will be warning friends to steer clear.

We certainly picked the right venue for a recent Birthday dinner celebration. Food and service beyond excellent. The Glen doesn't really need my praises, the volume of traffic says it all. Brilliant.

Nice place for dinner and a catch up with family and friends. Meals were good. Service was good. Plenty of free parking. Just felt a little squishy on the table allocated for our group size. Otherwise, all good. Would happily return.

Eat here regularly and food is always good and service is good also. The reward card discounts when you are up a Couple of levels make it even more appealing. Go back to this pub frequently as it rarely if ever disappoints in a meal.

The Glen Hotel is a great local. The menu has finally got a bit bigger after covid and the drinks are always cold! I usually head down on a Tuesday night for Trivia with a few friends and have also started having more work meetings here again as parking is easy and it's central to a lot of people. Service is great here, definitely recommend for your function, catch-ups, meetings or just because!

Actually left the house for a work thing just recently. Hadn't been out on my own for around ten years and was massively surprised that I absolutely enjoyed the experience! This was mainly due to the staff and their excellent service and welcoming attitude. Facilities were great but yup, you gotta chuck your staff a dope as bonus cos they made the place enjoyable

Friendly service. We went for dinner with my family. Steak was cooked perfectly and the sides were also great. Our kids love the playground and so do we. The playground is the best in Brisbane. Secure area we can overlook while we eat. Just ask to book the kids area. Five stars.

Went out for dinner and had the pork belly. The dish was absolutely cooked perfectly - soft pork, crumbly skin, array of surrounding flavors from the garnishes, sooo good! Our wait staff was exceptional - friendly, attentive and made me laugh. Dined in the lily restaurant which was nice. Great recovery from my last traumatic hotel dinner elsewhere 😅

We've driven past this place a few times and often commented on how good the kids play area looked. We spontaneously visited for the first time today and had a very good experience. We managed to get sat right next to the kids play area (arrived at 12pm) which was great for us and the kids. We ordered chips and two drinks on the app and it all arrived within 5 minutes - the gravy that comes with the chips is so so good! The kids then went for ice creams from the dessert bar, spoilt for choice! We had a brilliant time here.

Everything about The Glen Hotel is absolutely perfect! I visited on Mother’s day which was a super busy day, but everything was perfect. The wait time for the food was very short, the food was just AMAZING, the staff were very lovely and the venue was beautiful. A very good first impression. Definitely worth the 5 stars.

My husband and I just had our wedding at The Glen Hotel and it was a dream!! The event staff were incredible to deal with from the beginning when we had a viewing of the venue through to smoothly running the entire day and regularly checking in to see if everything was how we wanted it. Due to rain we held the ceremony in the undercover area which was intimate and perfect and the courtyard provided a gorgeous setting for our photoshoot. The Elaine Room was absolutely beautiful for our reception and the food was delicious, catering to a number of different dietary requirements for our guests. On top of all this, the hotel suites were beautiful and hotel staff super friendly and happy to help with anything we needed. The Glen Hotel was a perfect all-inclusive wedding venue. Thank you for being a massive part of making our special day one to remember!!

Only had good experiences with The Glen. Staff is friendly and helpful. Restaurant has many areas and the kid section is the best. If you call in advance and book a table close to the kid's playground, you're set to enjoy your night out. Food was always good. Did not have anything to complain about. Had pizza most times which was a good bet and the burgers were spot on too. Tasty, good looking and making you want more. If you're really hungry, probably go with pizza. It's big enough. Plenty of drinks to choose from and price wise is like any other place. Not cheap and definitely don't have to sell a kidney to get a drink. A place to come back anytime. Keep up the good work people at The Glen!

Ate here 20/12/21 for first time, steak night & it did not disapoint, 3 of us had steak which was beautifuly cooked, husband said duck fat roast pots, best he had had & son had chicken carbonara which he scoffed down. Place was heaving but got served in timely manner & felt safe as was asked for check in & vax status. Only thing didn't like was being sprayed with a fine mist.

My partner and I came for dinner. It was our Anniversary. It was the second time we had been to The Glen Hotel for a meal and to say it was amazing... is DEFINITELY AN UNDERSTATEMENT! I had the 250gm Steak, Chips and Salad and Melinda had the Lamb Roast. Both meals were fantastic. The table service was amazing also... Lachie served us and his vibrancy, customer service and personality was second to none. Thankyou to all the team for making our Anniversary dinner brilliant. 😊 🙏

My partner always orders a chicken parmigiana due to the fact it's a hard meal to mess up. Well The Glen proved him wrong by serving a tasteless soggy crumbed piece of chicken. The bruschetta was nothing to phone home about either. If the rating was solely on the food, it would be 1 star. The only reason it's been bumped up to 3 stars is due to the polite staff and relaxed atmosphere.

Good place to Catch up for drinks and enjoy food. Bit overrated as the quality of the food. Order pizza n ravioli pasta. Average pizza and ravioli was not up to the mark as the price and venue.

Restaurant staff were very friendly unfortunately they were let down by the service from the kitchen. We had a group of 7 - 6 of the meals arrived in a reasonable time but were far from hot, Luke warm would be generous- as we waited for the seventh meal our food got colder and colder - called a staff member over who investigated returning a few minutes later say the meal was coming from another kitchen hence the delay- when it arrived it was also cold and a bit dried out - not fresh from kitchen. Was very disappointed with the meals and sadly will be reluctant to eat there again

A disappointing evening. Celebrating a work Christmas party when a ‘happy’ but certainly not drunk colleague was cut from the bar. When the offer was made, by bar staff, to see management in regard to this decision, we accepted. A short time later we were told by security to leave the venue. We were given no opportunity to talk to management (even though this had been offered) or any reasonable reason as to why this decision had been made. There were many others far more intoxicated than us, and it is disappointing that no person bothered to actually speak to us to view for themselves our demeanour. Very disappointing end to an evening we had all been looking forward to and we will not support this venue in the future.

I usually recommended this place and told people how good food and service you guys had until this day. First me and my friends, dine in and had drinks(last week Thursday night)when the security told us to tone it down when nobody is literally in the area and we are not bothering anyone. We are not happy because what do you expect? People get drinks they can be loud and having fun talking to their mates. Today we order steak and schnitzel and my chips were oily and brown which I know is an old batch that just dip in the frying pan again. If we did not show the young bloke it is not going to be replace .Very DISAPPOINTING. I worked in retail and food industry and I know the stress you guys dealing with but I never treat our customer badly because I know how it feels like. Please make sure your staff do the same.

Work function, good space to have something like this. Food enjoyable, limited tap options, however that may have been employers decision. Multiple options with a number of different watering holes to choose from. Happy hour prices certainly prolongs the festivities. A good venue to shed the year and kick on. Have eaten there previously and the food consistently good.

The ONLY reason I gave 4 stars for service is because it took a little while for someone to come say hello and offer a drink - Perhaps they do that on purpose to allow people some time? Other than that, it was absolutely superb. The meals came out quickly, they were delicious, the staff were friendly, the venue is stunning. So I still highly recommend! I told my partner, "We're coming here for my birthday!"

The glen is the most magical place on earth. As we were dashing through the halls of the Glen hotel we realised this place would be our new local. WOW. The ice cream parlor is proper off tap!! We tried to sit inside but it was so packed, because the Glen is so good! We then trotted to the outside seating arena where we parked our buttocks for a hot minute. Anyways… don’t want to get into details. Love Char And Han

Diner for party of 8 The food got staggered fr 15 minutes from first plate to the last (which it happened to be a child's plate). the order had for stakes which got served without stake knifes(had to ask for them) 3 out of 4 stakes overcooked. I called the server about my stake and she tuck it back to the kitchen (just to get back with a same stake because of the wait time). told me that i could have a free meal which it was UNEATABLE I did not want a free meal i wanted a meal which i could eat an enjoy. Meager could not tell me why i should come back again and what i should tell my friends an family about the experience

I love this place, for early Saturday morning breakfast catch up with friends. Coffees, hot chocolates, Breakfast menus pancakes with ice cream lashings of maple syrup, strawberries and blueberries. Followed by the eggs Benedict salmon and poached eggs on a lightly toasted bagel with a lava flow of holidaise sauce..sprinkled with pepper and salt. Nice surroundings, to enjoy your catch up and great food.

My recent visit to had its ups and downs. Food: The Green Power Salad was fresh, but the salmon wasn't grilled as expected, and the chicken was dry. Menu Clarity: The menu could be clearer about preparation methods and customization options. Drinks: The mocktails lacked flavor complexity and variety. Service: The staff were attentive and friendly, which was the highlight of our experience. Ambiance: The restaurant provided a comfortable setting for dining. Overall, while the service was excellent, the food and drinks could use improvement.

I saw people being escorted out that were not intoxicated. They were sitting down minding their own business, google says they close at 4am but last drinks are at 12 and out by 12:30 this seems a little odd. I think you need to update your google page.

Great pub! The salt and pepper squid was incredible and cooked perfectly. The wait staff did get a little annoyed that our table ordered staggeringly, and by the time the last person came up they were a little snappy. The outdoor seating area had a great ambiance to it, with some fairy lights and lots of tables and seating.

it's nice for party and big group gatherings with kids. However, too noisy and crowded for any quiet chat or catch up with friends. One could hardly hear the others. However, the food is a bit over priced, a plate of carbonara pasta cost $29 which nothing to rave for and.....taste so so and my partner ordered a fried chicken burger, it was just average! So, i won't go there unless friends wanted to go!

Awesome family restaurant. Thoroughly enjoyed every plate of food except for the lobster and prawn sliders. They could do better with that. The service from everyone was top notch, food and drinks came in a timely manner but then if we wanted dessert we had to go order from the ice cream bar ourselves. Thought that was a bit inconvenient and could be handled better. Other than that it was absolutely great!! 😊

This place is popular for all the right reasons. Great food, quick service and it has a decent playground to boot. Seating can be a gamble if you're just rocking up on a whim but from what we understand is that if you give a call before 10.30 you should be able to snag a reservation. Seats with a clear view of the playground are rare so you may find yourself having to walk over for the occasional 'is my child still alive' check. Plenty of parking.

This was our first time at The Glen Hotel and we had a lovely experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. We dined in the Lily restaurant, the food was good and decent portions. Only reason I didn't mark 5 stars was because I felt like parking was an issue, the ice cream was over priced and there were no booster seats for my child (high chairs are available but no booster). Overall we really enjoyed our dinner and will be return customers.

We went here for a family catch up on a Thursday night, which happens to be Rib night, the boys at our table got the huge serving of ribs. Which came with sauce, salad and chips. I got a pizza, a burger was ordered too. All of which was delicious and massive servings. This place is awesome for families with young kids as there is a pretty fun looking place area. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Stopped in for dinner with a long lost friend after work. Great food. Lively, and while I do enjoy trivia nights, I was a bit disappointed that there was no place in the restaurant to just have dinner and chat. We had 5 years of catch up!

The Glen only has 40 rooms, including for the disabled. Secure car parking is included. The rooms are modern and spacious, beds comfortable and bathroom well fitted out. (Pity about the towels, on the 2 stays so far, we have been disappointed in the quality of the towels supplied. Small and threadbare). The restaurant is very popular, you really should book a table. We had room service woodfired pizzas, and they were delicious, prepared Italian style. Reception staff are very friendly and helpful and will do their best to make your stay enjoyable.

I’ve been here twice now, and both times have been so great!! I’ve received my food and drinks within 5 minutes of my order. The seating areas are all lovely with options for shaded or sunny. The kids playground is amazing. I’ve only been for breakfast, but I’m definitely going to come back for lunch and dinner! I really appreciate the effort that the staff take for it to be adult and child friendly. A++++

The foods are average. I’ve tried about 10 dishes, 2 were good. Lamb was very gamy, none of us enjoyed it. The atmosphere is good but it gets really loud & we couldn’t hear each other. Acoustic of this place needs fixing to enjoy each other’s company. Tried outside area at the front to avoid the noise but it was cold (no heater) dark & detached from the main restaurant although we could hear each other.

A lovely central place to go but the food is awful. Our Glen Burgers were dry and lacked much taste. The Caesar salad was drenched in about 3 bottles of dressing. None of the meals came out together. Wouldn’t recommend. There’s plenty of other nice pubs around with much better food and service.

Family gathering for birthday. Most central to us spread across BrisVegas. Location and construction work (perhaps due to recent floods) only bad points. Service great, food amazing, everyone loved their meals, kids area close and imaginative. Can also accommodate functions, business needs and accommodation. Would go back for the food.

It's was ok. Good area for kids to play, a couple or bars to choose from and wide mid range food menu. Has its own pizzeria and dessert bar which are nice touches. Good set up for families however I wasn't blown away by value or atmosphere. 3.5 out of 5 🍻

The food and drinks are good quality but everything is super expensive not justifying the price. Glass of beer(not a pint) for $11.34, garden salad $10 and this has a few leaves 4 cherry tamatos. This is ripping people off, rather go to Souths for the same food at half the price!!! Will never see me again!’

Great meals here. Thursday rib night is a must. The separate pizza kitchen looks amazing. We'll be back to try some more of the menu. Going by the traffic through this place, I'd make a booking to be safe.

Making a booking over the phone was a pleasant experience, staff went to great lengths to provide a wheelchair accessible table. Service was exceptional throughout the whole meal and drinks orders we placed. Food was well prepared and friendly staff

Ate their food and was pretty impressed. All the kids are free and even the kids meals looked professional. Also came out pretty quick! Got the mushroom pizza and chicken burger. Will be back if we're passing by

First time we've been to this pub and it was great. Food was excellent, range of drinks was wide, plenty of space to spread out too. Loved how it turned into a disco after 10pm too, fun night with friends. We'll be back ✌️

6 of us here for dinner, one of us orders a pasta and the others, steak, schnitzels etc. the pasta comes out fairly quickly and the rest of the meals come out 12 minutes later. Whilst we were waiting for our food and watching our friend eat his pasta we asked the waiter where are our meals, he advised that the pasta is cooked by a different department and as a result they can’t control the timing. We advised that is crazy, apparently there is nothing they can do about it. For a venue this size, they need to invest in technology and improve their communication

We had a lovely night out with friends, but will make mention of a couple of things. *For the price, the parmi is extremely small. We get much larger parmis at other venues for a smaller price tag. *cheesy garlic bread needs more garlic *salt and pepper calamari was nice, but could have used a smidge more cook time to not be so pale. But Overall a pleasant dining experience. Staff were friendly and service for food and drinks was very quick.

My family dined here on a Friday night and such a pleasant experience to go with the delicious meals. Half of our group have special dietary requirements and the staff were extremely helpful to make sure they prepared and recommended meals that were safe to eat. Special shout out to our server Meeka who gave us an all around 5 star experience , she was so helpful, patient and friendly for our entire visit.

We used the scan order pay option and ordered our meals. The first to arrive was the salted caramel sundae which was amazing in its own right… how ever it would have been better to deliver this AFTER the main meals had been completed. Next was friends chai latte as well as mine that was l with lactose free milk that I had to pay extra for which I don’t mind, but my mug was half full of froth. My friend ordered the calamari and a side salad which arrived next. The calamari was fantastic size for an entree, in fact it was main meal size! Great but some of the calamari was over cooked and tough to cut with the butter knives they provided for cutlery. Last to arrive was my meal. Which I ended up eating warm instead of hot. The gnocchi would have been perfect if it wasn’t drowned in the sauce. My recommendation is for the staff to see the entire meal so as not to deliver the dessert before main meals have been completed. The excuse I was given was that they don’t see the whole meal just their part. I won’t be coming back. Not for the price I paid and the service I received.

😠 Food & Cocktails were absolutely amazing, however, the lack of service forgetting a soft drink for one of the children at our table, and then forgetting a burger for one of the adults, is unforgivable. When the wait staff told the chef that a burger was missing, he shrugged his shoulders and contin...
